After a long "ruck walk" early in the morning for some Sunday-Funday, we needed some acai bowls in our lives and this place was top on the list in the area. Love the quaint, little waiting area outside and the option to order inside as well. Be ready to dodge-n-weave all the yoga fanatics trying to get to their class right across the hallway. I love it and glad it has made its way to Houston. Every time I was in Austin I would stop by here to grab a fresh juice or smoothie before heading back or as a refresher after an adventure/hike/jog. Great staff here which makes the visit always pleasant. One small thing that I will warn you is that it can get quite expensive especially when you have the urge to go every week if not every day or every other day. Love love love JuiceLand. I've been a fan for a few years now. My go to drink is the Percolator: almond milk, banana, cold brew coffee, cacao, & cinnamon. I usually get it as a meal replacement for lunch so I also add a scoop of pea protein in it. You mostly taste the banana and cacao which I really like. It's also super filling. If I don't get that then I get the morning sunshine (pineapple, orange, banana, mango, goji berry, bee pollen) as a sweet treat. Parking kinda sucks at this location. You're also sharing the lot with black swan yoga and there's only one way to get in and out so it does get packed sometimes. But overall it's a great place for a fresh smoothie. read more

Cute set up. Tucked away in the heights. I was on my lunch break and decided to Yelp some juice/smoothie place. That was the nearest establishment to my job so I jumped in my car and headed here. I told the cashier that I was a Newbie and asked for recommendations. I told him nothing with pineapple or peanut butter. So I ended up getting the peachy one (I forget the actual name) but it was peach blended with some greens. It was pretty decent. I can't complain. We tried to go to this place but we couldn't get past the front entrance. The smell of candles and synthetic fragrances was overpowering and immediately started triggering my young son's asthma. It makes me sad when "healthy" places do this and don't understand how bad those are for health - as well as being an accessibility issue. I gave an extra star in fairness since we weren't able to actually try the smoothies (though the chemicals in synthetic fragrances tend to be sticky in the air and will settle on clothes as well as foodso I would want to eat/drink them anyway). Guilt-free indulgence! This place is amazing. I've never had anything that wasn't both healthy and delicious. And, each time I go in, there are always samples! Plus, sign up for their rewards points system, which leads to free shots, add ins, and sometimes some dollars off a purchase. So far, I've tried the following (and it's hard to choose a favorite because it's all so wonderful): 1) MORNING SUNSHINE, which has pineapple, orange juice, banana, mango, goji berry, and bee pollen. This was my first time having bee pollen, and when I googled its health benefits, I learned there's protein as well as other benefits! Also, it's yummy! 2) PEACHY GREEN, which was good, but it didn't have any protein. It did, however, have apple juice, peach, spinach, and kale. 3) ORIGINATOR, which has apple juice, banana, blueberry, cherry, peanut butter, brown rice protein, flax oil, and spirulina. I wish I could have someone at home make this for me each morning...alas, I have JuiceLand for that 4) WUNDERSHOWZEN, which would also be a great breakfast shake because it has almond milk, banana, spinach, hemp protein, and peanut butter. So yummy!!! 5) BAM BAM, which has pineapple juice, banana, mango, almonds, hemp protein, coconut oil, and spirulina. A real treat! So, if you can't tell, this place keeps me coming back again and again. If this place were walking distance from me, then I know I'd have to get a credit card just for this place! The staff is friendly, unique and great at recommending suggestions and really represent the brand of the company. Here's my favs and they offer unsweetened almond milk: For drinks -wundershowzen -originator except I sub the apple juice with almond milk. If you leave the Apple juice it tastes similar to peanut butter and jelly. -triple double except they added strawberries to help the protein flavor not stand out as much -hands down, moon tower is my top choice. After breakfast, I was looking for a smoothie spot in The Heights. JuiceLand is located right next to a yoga studio, makes a lot of sense. They have a small parking lot but it's pretty cramped. I was able to find a spot but there's parking on the street if you're not so lucky. JuiceLand is one of those healthy smoothie/juice bars where a lot of the options have yucky veggies and stuff. If you're not quite so adventurous, there are all-fruit options. A little pricey but you're paying for quality ingredients. The cashier was pretty cute too so that didn't hurt. So, let me just start with this is one of my favorite locations for JuiceLand. Their service is always friendly, educational and the vibes are super mellow. Which is like an extra for me given I'm use to drinking Starbucks and you know how coffee does for everybody. I love the chill waiting, drinking spots outside that they have it's very Insta/photo appropriate and Dog friendly! The only thing that gives me anxiety is the parking, they share their parking with the Yoga Place and it's connected to JuiceLand so the parking is very small, and shaped very weird! It's almost like a weird triangle square lol, you can always park on the street but eh, I don't like it very much. Back to their menus, it's veryyyyyy Healthy and not like Starbucks AT ALL! Parking can be a bit of a struggle here, the parking lot is quite small, but you can always park along the street! My favorite is the Honey Beary, if you like peanut butter, this is the perfect smoothie! Wild Child also has a beautiful color, caused by dragon fruit. This place is located next to the trail so it makes a good stopping point. Grab a juice, kick it on the patio & continue on the trail. Located inside of black swan yoga, so space can be limited at peak hrs. Service is still pretty quick & staff is extremely friendly.
