A+ acai bowls at Juicewell! You can build your own acai or pitaya bowls here for $9 (one size only). Although it is kind of pricey, it's pretty big and similarly priced to other acai bowls in Houston, I think. After I finished my bowl, I was really full! The texture of the acai blend is awesome here. Nice and thick, not too watery or icy. It tasted similar to my very first acai bowl and the best I've had to date, which was in Hawaii :P. I dropped in today around 4:45 to get out of the Texas heat and enjoy a relatively healthy treat. I immediately appreciated the "Build your own owl option" while that notion can usually be a little overwhelming...the way in which they had you fill out the form before hand was helpful. I was disappointed when I saw the distinction between regular/ included fruits and premium. I indicated that I wanted my bowl to stay and I received a to go bowl. They do have WiFi and a cute sitting area by the window. While the venue was nice it was pretty warm inside and it took over 10 minutes for my single order. This is my problem. Just because you make your prices high doesn't make you exclusive. I can pay $3-4 less for a bigger bowl at Daily Juice. Why is everything an add on here? There ingredients aren't anymore fresh or farm to market then Daily Juice, but the bowls AND the smoothies are significantly more money. AND my bowl isn't even nearly full!!! read more

I'm always up for trying new juice spots. This shop is in a beautiful new white Regions building on Richmond and Timmons. It's right next to my office so some coworkers and I decided to walk here to grab juice. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted. The atmosphere is open and extremely clean and large. They have a variety of items on the menu to choose from like juice, smoothies and shots and even "Build Your Own Acai/Pitaya Bowl". I love acai bowls so next time I come here, I will definitely try it out. I ordered the Pineapple Sunrise: pineapple, orange, mint, apple, cucumber and chia seeds. When I ordered it, the man at the cashier offered to let me try before I purchased. Awesome service! My juice was pretty good but I may order something with a bit of an edge or kick next time. I saw a juice with "habanero" in the ingredients so that may be my next choice. Some of the juices are already made, and others are made to order. Mine in particular was already available in the fridge. My coworker ordered the green goddess and they made it on the spot. It was kind of cool to have an open kitchen concept because you can see all the labor that goes into their product. Each juice comes in a sturdy glass bottle and they informed me if we bring back the bottle next time, we get $1 off our order. They also have frequent customer cards where you just put your number into the iPad machine thingy (what's the name of those anyway?) and you're registered! I was in the mood for a Pitaya bowl and found JuiceWell nearby so I spontaneously dropped by. They have Cold Pressed Juices and build your own Acai and Pitaya bowls. Some juices are already prepared while others are made to order. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but it's definitely a nice addition to the area! Parking & Location: There's a garage behind shopping center and it was easy to park in since the shopping center doesn't have too many tenants. The shopping center itself is very clean, new and nice. The Space: During my visit, I was the only one there so I had plenty of space to myself. There's a bit of seating inside, but an ample amount of outdoor seating, which I loved! Customer Service: I wasn't blown away. As mentioned, I was the only one there and the lady working was on the phone the whole time and didn't acknowledge me as I stood there trying to order. She was nice when she wasn't on the phone though.. Food: I ordered a Pitaya bowl. You get to customize it by checking off what you want on one of the checklists that you'll find scattered around the place. Ordering was easy and the Pitaya bowl itself was BIG, fresh and delicious. I'm super picky with açaí bowls especially them being too sweet and adding bad liquids like store bought almond milk and orange juice from concentrate but this one you can choose to have their homemade organic almond mylk or fresh coconut water from a coconut (not bottled). The Recovery juice is excellent--not overwhelmingly "green" nor pulpy, but all the vitamins you'd want. They come in glass containers--thumbs up! They have homemade almond milk, which I add to my açaí bowl. Very well made! They also have truffles for $1 each. I'm not particularly fond of truffles, so they're not my thing personally. Walked in, wasn't greeted ( I was the only customer there with two employees), I filled out the form needed to be filled out to get my order started, lady came took it from me didn't say a word to me charged me, flipped the monitor to sign and add tip and walked away. I never give bad reviews, but this place needs better management. When I walked in, no one said, "I will be right with you." No one even acknowledged me... When he finally spoke to me, I could hardly see him between his mask and the bill of his cap. (The mask made him look sick or sickly. Should a sick person be working with food? If he's just sickly, he is not a good representative for a juice store.) He could have at least worn a pony tail. (I never work with food while my hair is hanging down like his was.) I don't blame the kid. Someone just needs to teach him about customer service and boost his confidence. Someone needs to tell him that he is the face of the place. Poor management... In my opinion, this is the best açaí bowl / smoothie place in Houston. There's plenty of parking and when the weather is nice, it's a great place to sit outside and relax. The açaí bowl is flavorful, and you get a lot for the price you pay. You can customize the base, add in extra ingredients, and customize your toppings too. Their granola is homemade and delicious. They also have health shots that really help if you feel a cold coming on. AJ is one of the cashier's and he always makes fantastic recommendations. Upside? Best açaí bowl in Houston. Downside? Pretty nice place. I like the interior a lot. It's very modern and cool inside. They have ample seating and it's not that crowded ever. Their açaí bowls are very good. Today I had their chocolate smoothie drink with coconut. It was pretty good! It wasn't the most amazing smoothie I've had. I do think their prices are pretty reasonable, however. My smoothie was about $7.00. They use fresh ingredients. My server was a bit slow, so that was a tiny bit frustrating. Overall, will be back for more. read more

The banana flavor was overpowering in the green monkey, but with the name, I guess that shouldve been predicted. You build your own acai bowls(some toppings are extra so go overboard at your own risk ). I looove anything coconut so I added fresh coconut and have no regrets. They sre most known for their acai bowl, but i perfer the sourness of dragon fruit compare to the sweetness of the acai. The açaí bowls are so refreshing! What a great afternoon treat on a hot day! For their bowls, you can customize what you would like on flavors, 2 toppings, granola or no granola, and your base. There is an additional charge for extra toppings and premium toppings. As we sat and enjoyed our bowl, one of the staff brought us a shot size sample of one of their juices, called Strawberry Sentiment! If you like mint, you will definitely enjoy this flavor. Best açaí in Houston! I've tried so many places and this is hands down my favorite! My go-to is their açaí bowl with homemade almond milk, strawberries and mangos blended in, topped with granola, strawberries, peanut butter and drizzled with agave! They also have a variety of cold pressed juices - if you're into that! They are located in Greenway Plaza and have free parking in the garage attached to it. Went to JuiceWell for the first time ever and suddenly I crave JuiceWell everyday!! I went there with my boyfriend and we shared an açaí bowl because I was worried I wouldn't finish one on my own. I've been to several juice bars and I've never finished a bowl (even if I shared one) but the açaí bowls at this place were amazing! You get to customize the bowl just how you'd like and you can add on additional toppings with just an additional cost ($0.50- $1.00). You can choose the base, blending, twist, toppings, and the drizzle that comes on top. Base price for the bowl was $9 before tax and extra toppings. the cashier was pretty friendly, but there's not a lot of customer interaction. The interior of the place is cute; very aesthetically pleasing. The place is small & doesn't offer a lot of seating but there's an open patio right out front. read more
