Build Your Own Acai or Pitaya Bowl
    Rachel J.

Built my own pitaya bowl! Flavors were good and lots of options to build it. The only reason im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is its a bit pricy. Like i only got 5 raspberries. They did put a large amount of chia seeds though! I would get it again though due to large amount of customizations i can do.

I can't believe I have written a review for Sustain. The juices are really good. I got the Show Your Roots which features beets, kale, burdock root, ginger and lemon. I also had a wheatgrass shot that was not too bad, mild, kinda sweet. The juices are premade, they just pull them from the fridge on order. I'm not sure when they are made, maybe day of. Glass containers is a major win. You don't have to worry about leaching plastics. The folks working are very sweet and helpful. There were a handful of people there when I went. Very chill and spacious area. I would sit in too long, most patrons were coming and going. Juice tastes delicious. And I'm off... I'll be back. I've been coming here for over 10 years, I'm surprised this is my first review!

Build Your Own Acai or Pitaya Bowl

A little pricey, but great smoothie bowls. The worker that served me was really nice and patient, as I have never been here before and didn't know how it worked. Each bowl is custom to you and what you choose to put in it which is great. I would definitely recommend getting the pitaya bottom though, as it tastes just amazing. The store is also kept clean in a nice little shopping strip.

Build Your Own Acai bowl in a to go cup. So good

I ordered the build your own Açaí bowl in a to go cup and it was delicious. They do not skimp on the toppings. Plenty of parking in a private lot. I will definitely be coming back!

Açaí bowl with blueberries, almonds, granola, and honey drizzle.

Pretty big açaí bowl. Pretty expensive too at $9 minimum, regardless of whether you get a dine in bowl, or a to go cup or bowl. My dine in bowl consisted of an açaí base, strawberry and mango blend ins, almond milk; granola, almond, and coconut chip toppings; and a honey drizzle. It's a nice alternative to bakery treats as a snack. I'm not sure how healthy these açaí bowls really were. It's wasn't stated whether their frozen açaí base or their blend ins were sweetened or unsweetened. Plus, I would've liked how many calories and grams of sugar the granola and other toppings contributed to the ultimate calorie count of my açaí bowl. Unfortunately, I didn't see any nutrition information in the store or on their website. I believe it would help customers make better informed decisions about how to make a healthier açaí bowl. I would've also liked the option of a smaller açaí bowl to get a nice sweet snack that's not too filling. Although, I did enjoy my açaí bowl. It was very berry in taste, and it had contrasting textures and flavors from the granola, coconut, and almonds. The honey drizzle had a nice touch of sweetness too. Unfortunately, I didn't taste any hint of mango, even though I ordered a mango blend in. Next time, to balance out the tartness of the açaí base and strawberry blend in, I'll add banana or blueberry instead of the mango blend in. Also, I will try adding more granola and cacao nibs instead of adding coconut chips. I'll ask the staff if I can split the açaí bowl with my sis next time as well. It's too filling to eat one all by myself. This is definitely not a place to come to often for your açaí bowl fix, unless you want to break your bank. But, it's not a bad spot to come every now and then for breakfast or a snack/dessert. If you like fresh juices or smoothies, they have plenty of options here as well.

I've been here twice and both times I thought the same thing. I loved their Acai Bowl but it is expensive!! They have a make your own Acai Bowl option where you write does and check off the ingredients you'd like to have which includes toppings (each 50 cents). Adding some other toppings are more expensive. It did taste good!! On a Saturday afternoon, it was packed!!! We definitely had to wait a while to get our Acai Bowls.

    Strawberry Banana Açaí Bowl

Conveniently located in the peaceful community of Bellaire, TX. My favorite place to go during Saturday or Sunday mornings. I recently tried their açaí bowl and it was delicious! All the ingredients are always fresh and the proportions are very satisfying. I chose to top my açaí bowl with strawberries, bananas, granola. Another time I chose raspberries, bananas, granola, and honey. Both very good and fresh. Sustain has a nice dining area to sit and enjoy your food. They even have a couple tables outside if you'd rather enjoy the natural breeze. I especially enjoying sitting outside on a Sunday morning. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. I recently had to deal with a nasty allergy cold and finally decided to try one of the cold pressed juices. Their Recovery cold press was so good and refreshing!! I also tried their KoKo cold pressed, it was not as good as Recovery, but still a refreshing juice. Needless to say, you have to check out Sustain!

By far the most expensive smoothie I've ever bought. $8 for this a small? Ridiculous. 4 ingredients but it tasted like straight up Spinach.

    Acai bowl. Delish!
    Erica G.

We ordered the acai bowl with two smoothies. We chose the Strawberry Sentiment and blueberry bliss. Strawberry sentiment had a very minty taste. Mint was definitely the strongest flavor in the smoothie. A bit too much for my taste buds.. The blueberry bliss was a bit tarter than what I am used to but altogether was very refreshing. You knew you were taking in the best and most organic of what Sustain offers. Our favorite was their acai bowl.. AMAZING! We loved everything about this bowl and highly recommend to anyone! Will definitely be back.

Food was okay, service was pretty good, and ambiance was a bit boring no music playing.

What a lovely juice shop!…read more Pressed is in a beautiful area and offers a variety of options. I enjoyed the selection and the quality of juices. They offered a taste bar where juices could be sampled before purchase (I love this idea!) Service the day of our visit was a little lackluster - didn't know much about the juices or juicing in general. Unfortunate. Besides the service, everything was exceptional and we can't wait to go back when it's cleanse time!

I'm obsessed with Pressed!!! They have sooooo many juices, tonics, & smoothies to choose from…read more There's even açai bowls and energy shots along with some grab & go snacks for purchase. They have a wide variety of vegan and dairy free options. The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable about what's in everything. Tiffany educated me on where they source their juices from & a little background about Pressed. She was so sweet. Jordan at the register was also very patient with me as I was making my selection on what juices to choose from. He gave me some recommendations and even told me about the rewards sysem they have. The space is well lit, extremely clean, & lots of seating to dine in. There's also parking right out front in the plaza exclusive for Pressed guests. I'll definitely be back to try more juices!!
