They usually include the menu, but I didn't see one, so I went on their website and Yelp for menu/food photos. I need to see what I'm eating. Very much a visual eater. I also like to prep what I'm ordering. I like the Asian, American, and Mediterranean options. Oh and a Latin dessert. I was torn between the gyro and Korean fries. I love fries and Korean bbq, so I went with the Korean fries. I love that they used crinkle fries. It was a little drenched too much with queso that pooled at the bottom of the container. With all the queso, sauces, and Korean bbq flavors, I wanted the fries to balance out the saltiness. When I got home, I moved the fries to a different container to preserve some of the fries. Don't get me wrong, I love queso, and theirs is really good, but it was a little too much. Maybe if it had been spread onto a larger container to even out, it would've been better. My apartment gives discount vouchers, first come, first serve. They were giving out a $10 voucher which pretty much covers a meal. I got there earlier before they handed it out, so I paid for the fries. I thought they already passed out the 10. The assistant manager saw me and handed me one when I walked back in the building. So, I came back later for the churros and caramel sauce for dessert. The portions are a good size. I saved half my fries to save room for dessert. The churros were nice and warm and filled with dulce de leche, I believe. The caramel sauce was delicious to dip the churros in. The wait for the Korean fries and churros separately was about 5-7 minutes. Not bad. There was one person cooking and one taking orders. I enjoyed their food. The pricing is average for a food truck. I hope they are asked to come back sometime in the near future or if I see them at some event to order it again or try something else. Check them out if you see them around!

I'm super glad I did because the food was good, but the owner... the person was better. We had a great conversation while I was eating that I will remember going forward. Very personable! I ordered the Boss Hog that comes with: Philly Egg Roll w/ sweet and sour sauce 9/10 Fries 9/10 5 Chicken Wings w/ ranch (24k Gold*Carolina BBQ) 9/10 Detroit Coney Dog 8/10 Everything was literally on point! I don't even need to explain, I already knew. The Coney Dog took me back to my time when I was in Detroit! The vibe inside the store made me feel like I was back in the Bay Area. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but coming from Los Angeles, I know that when you're waiting, it's usually because your food is being prepared fresh. It was well worth the wait. Everything tasted authentic, homemade, and like true Southern soul food. The atmosphere was just as wonderful as the food. It was warm, cozy, laid back, and welcoming. The music was pleasant, the décor was beautiful, and the entire restaurant had an inviting energy that made us want to stay. My best friend and I sat at the bar near the entrance so we could take in the whole room, and I absolutely loved the ambiance. The staff was exceptional. The wait is a non-factor at this location in POST Market (#1), which happens to be one of the best food stalls in their star studded lineup. The menu is literally just the hot dog and it's breakdown of ingredients. There are a few drink options on the menu from soda to lemonade, but that's it. It's a simple menu and I'm all for it. The hotdog ($8) was described to me by their hypeman behind the counter: "It will change your life." An excellent slogan indeed. The all-beef hot dog is sliced and grilled and topped with a combination of onions (fried + caramelized) with many drizzles of honey mayo, yoyo's hot sauce, and layer of cream cheese. There was a lot going on and the combination felt a little too busy rather than well balanced. That said, I can absolutely see why people enjoy it. The service was prompt and friendly and the area seemed clean. The price point also felt pretty reasonable for a hotdog with this many toppings. Perhaps this late night staple would hit different after a few drinks but once was enough for me. Still, I'd recommend giving it a try if you're visiting Houston, especially since it's such an iconic late night Houston eat.

I was told the owner of the shell and Burger Drop are the same, but are run as seperate businesses. It's called burger drop because the do have a burger menu. But they also have other items like tacos etc. The hours of operation seem to be changing? And I am still little confused on that. The google map hours listed are incorrect, FYI. But they said the will stabilize it soon. Service - really was 5 stars. Because when I arrived after 8pm the kitchen was actually closed. However the staff decided to open back up and allow me to order, and cooked the food for me. Food- I ordered the Drop burger combo. Came with quarter pound burger, seasoned fries and a drink for around $14 bucks. The burger was fine by the time I got back home and ate it. I plan to try there smash burger next to really give it an overall judgment. Of note there is no seating inside. It's a grab and go place. And you can order ahead by phone if need be, and they are on Uber Eats. The people were kind, and for that alone it's worth a go.
