The workers are incredibly friendly, their attention to detail is incredible. The ambiance is good considering it's a food truck in the middle of a gas station. They play some great music and have the TV's showing animated pictures of items from the menu which I found very entertaining Their salsas were amazing, we had the truffle burger which was INCREDIBLE, and the Avocado Queen arepa (loved the name btw, reina pepiada internacional). Maybe would have added a little more avocado, but it was incredibly good still. The quality of the ingredients was very fresh. We asked why, in some pictures, the arepas were colorful, and they said that each day they add a different vegetable to their dough. This time, they added carrots. I found out about Authentic Empanada this year at VegFest. They had 3 different empanadas to choose from: Sweet potato, rice and beans, and spinach with vegan cheese. I opted for the spinach and vegan cheese. After I paid they immediately began forming the dough, stuffing it, and frying it up right there before my eyes so it was a visual treat as well as a delicious one. Everyone inside the tent was super nice, and the homemade sauces (one avocado, and the other a sweet habanero) blew my socks off. Super delicious, great service, what more can you ask for?
