Absolutely wonderful. I went 2x on Sat 8.22 - New to the area, wanted to see what the buzz was about. Great service on my initial visit. Greeted with kindness and appreciation. The smell of fresh waffle cones filled the air. There was an amazing employee minding the store, baking waffle cones and managing service. It was quite as it was early afternoon on a Saturday. I asked a few questions; The ice cream is made fresh, the bread pudding, cobbler and cake was available in the freezer. Since it was my first time? I sampled the Rum Raisin and the vanilla - both were delicious. I absolutely LOVE a bread pudding and decided to pick one up for later that evening. - I picked up the Pecan Bread Pudding, asked if there was a sauce - no. It was shared that ice cream addon was possible for a small fee more and a caramel or hot fudge sauce could be added at no charge. I added their Vanilla and caramel sauce on the side. - Informed microwave the frozen dessert for about 1 - 1 min 30 sec (no longer) - Took it home for my evening dessert. fast forward - later that evening - I heated the Pecan Bread Pudding and 10 sec microwaved my caramel sauce. Took my small cup of Vanilla Ice cream out of the fridge. - I did share with my family - I promise you - the BEST PECAN BREAD PUDDING I have ever had - the ice cream, smooth, creamy, sweet - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! I'll share another review regarding my "evening after 6:30 pm" experience. HIGHLY recommend - the dessert reheated, wonderfully! i'LL BE BACK! PART 2 - returned in the evening so my family could also have dessert with dinner - There was a line - as expected, I had been informed earlier in the day it gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights late afternoon into the evening. - There were 2 employees minding the counter - they were amazing. Polite, efficient - a smile with every request. there were people outside enjoying and inside - families: Adults and children - somewhat transformed to a kinder, gentler time in the United States - where families/community come together at a local soda shop (in this case ice cream parlor) you can order, sit and have sundae/desserts and shakes delivered, or wait and take from the counter to enjoy at home, or outside. The service was top notch - just like I had experienced earlier in the day - We purchased 3 different cups and tried the waffle cones - we took it to go. After trying both locations, one in Braselton and one in Hoschton. I think they're both almost identical being that their own by the same family. That's the best part of supporting local business and getting fantastic homemade ice cream !! I highly recommend the turtle sundae and the bourbon butterscotch and the mint chocolate chip and the peanut butter with hot fudge on top!! Those are my recommendations . Service is fast , the place is very clean and with the 50s style atmosphere it's a great place to be on a Saturday night with your family celebrating birthdays, bar mitzvahs, anniversary's. Or a date night with your loved one!! Took my niece here for her bday. She is 9 and normally only gets vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. She tried the cake batter ice cream and loves it so much she got a scoop in a new flavor! Which is huge for a 9 year old. My son got cookie dough, his favorite, and said "it was the best cookie dough I've ever had in my life." So much so that he went and gave the ladies at the counter a hug lol. I got chocolate trinity and bourbon butterscotch. The butterscotch is not a flavor I would normally try but it was so rich and creamy. I love that they have a lot of flavors (over 15), some dairy free options and lots of different options for cones (traditional cone, waffle cone, waffle cone dipped in chocolate/with sprinkles, gummy bear cones, maple waffle, chocolate waffle and waffle bowls!). The space itself is set up live a vintage ice cream parlor with tiled floor, booths, blue and pink decor and vintage black and white posters. Really cute! And to top it all off for a kids scoop and two double scoops with waffle cones, it was only $22. Amazing for today's prices! They also sell baked good, banana splits and milkshakes! read more

Craving something sweet, I turned to Yelp to help me find what I needed. I stopped by after lunch for a treat. To my surprise, Juke N Jive Creamery offers so much more than ice cream! They have hot cocoa bombs, fudge, pies, cakes, and other desserts, all of which are made by hand. They also cater to several dietary restrictions such as dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free. I was welcomed by several customers that were seated at the counter and by Marcy, who was so kind to explain what kind of treats they had to offer, and how I could customize my selection with the number of flavored cones and toppings that are available. Service was timely and very helpful. The shop decor was lovely, full of bright colors. I chose the 2oz cup of Lavender Honey ice cream and I have to say that my only regret was not getting the biggest size they have! Many of the floral flavors (like lavender or rose) are difficult to blend, as they can sometimes taste like perfume or artificial. The lavender honey ice cream at Juke N Jive Creamery is pure perfection. It is well balanced- not too sweet and the perfect amount of natural lavender flavor. I'm delighted to have found this new dessert spot and I cannot wait to return and purchase a bigger portion of their lavender honey ice cream.... I want to emphasize that I love how this place looks like a diner inside. As a fan of them, I had to try this place out. I wasn't disappointed when I walked in and smelled all the sweetened, or when I sat in the booth, or when I saw a jukebox. I had gotten the pineapple whip ice cream (it's dairy free), and it tasted like actual pineapple. I didn't taste any artificial flavors, and loved every bite of it. Although the price can be slightly high, I believe it is worth for the experience. Service was amazing as well!! All the employees dress like it was an actual diner in the 1950's (or 60's??), and seemed like they enjoyed their job. They gave me my order with a smile and made sure everything was amazing!! I was here on August 6th with my family, we were a big group so had to divide us in order to make the ordering process easier. I decided to be the last since my group was the biggest, when it was finally my turn, a girl named Dashia was going to take my order. For some reason as soon as I started talking to her she burst out laughing and tried to cover her face, me and my family looked at each other making face expressions of "what the frank is happening?" And she turned around, her colleague Desmin noticed there was something wrong and came and asked for our order instead of her, I asked him if there was anything wrong with the girl who was still laughing and he said she had to cough and kept coughing, not laughing. I let it go and he started my order, the whole time while we were there this girl kept looking at us as if we were clowns or a weird specimen of people and made us feel very uncomfortable. My step mother, who didn't speak English, kept asking me what was happening and what was wrong with that girl cause she made us feel really uncomfortable, we even decided to finish our ice creams on the way home instead of staying there until we were done. For my family, my step mother, my little sisters, I wished we had a better encounter with the personal since I was the one who picked this place and they all felt so uncomfortable. You are truly time-traveled back to the sockhop 50's times with black and white checkers floors, chrome-accented seating and tables, and a stainless steel countertop while you listen to tunes off the old Juke Box. Employees serve you icecream dressed like soda jerks. The flavors here are so vast, they can appeal to anyone. They have you typical flavors like chocolate, elevated flavors like kettle corn ice cream, and even adult alcohol-infused flavors. You can get your ice cream in a cup, cake cone, or a variety of waffle cones. You can also sample the ice cream before you purchase it. Along with ice cream, they have milkshakes, fudge, sundaes, floats, and cakes. They have outdoor seating as well, everything is pink. During COVID they are open at 1PM, but you can order via DoorDash. I do not know how that would work, with ice cream, as we could go in, but had to leave and sit outside. Great experience at this local ice cream shop 7-1-2020. They have several flavors and will allow you to sample some. We arrived right before closing and the staff were friendly and patient as if they'd just opened. I sampled the biscoff cookie, which was delicious and had plenty cookie pieces. I wanted the brownie sundae though so I ordered that. The worker asked if I wanted salted caramel or caramel crunch instead of the vanilla ice cream that comes with it. I sampled the caramel crunch, which was good but I wasn't sure how I'd like the crunch with the brownie so I just stick with the vanilla. I didn't sample the salted caramel since I'm not a fan of the flavor in general. The brownie sundae was amazing! The brownie tasted buttery and homemade. The guy indeed gave me extra caramel. he even drizzled some on top as you can see in the picture. The ice cream and everything was terrific. I can't wait to return when I'm back in the area. I wish I could have tried a cookie sandwich but it would have melted on my way home they also have cheesecake slices, cake slices and apple crisp!! The apple crisp was incredible. The staff was super helpful with all of the decisions I needed to make in regards to what flavor and what we could and shouldn't travel with. An ice cream parlor is a welcome, much-needed addition to this area of Braselton that is so laden with golfcart-family-friendly paths, making it a cheery place to grab a dessert no matter what type of wheels get you to their front door. There has been lots of anticipation for Juke n' Jive to open, and it has been well worth the wait. The place is adorably charming! Years ago there was a retro diner across the street called The Peach Pit, and while it served food-food, Juke n' Jive is strictly sweets, but they have that pink and turquoise 1950's nostalgia down pat. The menu is a little pricey ($6+ for milkshake, for instance) but make no mistake that a $3 cone is going to be a generous scoop of what one staff member referred to as "life-changing ice cream" that's made in house, in a wide variety of flavors including several boozy ones. I wanted to have a coffee, but it felt like their AC wasn't quite running yet and didn't want a hot drink. Staff has some burps to iron out, but that's to be expected for a brand-new business, one that I expect will succeed. My one recommendation would be to offer an "ice cream flavor/flight" to provide maybe shot glass-sized samples of several of the ice cream flavors; too many different ones, it's hard narrow one's choice down. read more
