This is regarding today and also a tire repair on an old car a few years ago. A few years ago the service to patch the tire which had a nail was quick and not expensive. I didn't remember if repairs were cash only back then; probably so. Today, years later, I had a flat and went to Julian's. It was really low so I didn't want to drive more on it. I suppose I'd forgotten repairs are cash only. He said I could go to the 7-11 across from Costco to get cash and 7-11 also has an ATM. 7-11 wouldn't give more than $10 cash back and said to use the ATM. Iykyk as far as 7-11 ATMs. I will not use them and don't trust 3rd party ATMs. In my work, I've seen too many people have all their funds taken after using one. So I couldn't have him patch it today. No bank nearby. I had to go to a chain tire store and it was a total rip-off. Of course, they want to sell tires and would not patch it because policy says it's too old although still good. Expected. So I had to buy a new tire for far too much because they'd take a debit card. The review was 5 stars from years ago but today I have to make it 4 because the cash policy is their right to do so but at least use Zelle or Venmo? So many people don't carry cash. Now I learned to have a bit of cash on me! If my tire was beyond fixable per Julian's, I'd rather Julian's get the $$ for a new tire and I know it would have been less. I trust Julian's more than a mega-chain store. read more

Julian really saved the day for me. Within a few months of getting my new car, I experienced a nail in one of my tires. I had the car towed to the Costco in Irwindale. Costco was not able to help me because Corporate would want them to sell new tires instead of patching them. The nice Assistant Manager informed me of Julian's and I had AAA come and tow my car to his spot. Julian was able to patch my tire and not charge too much for the service. His shop has a shaded seating area, in case he is busy with other cars to take care of! I definitely will be coming back here, especially with the Costco being so close! read more

Service was fine and fast, but was disappointed they did not tell me cash only which I did not have enough. I used ATM and the ATM charged me almost 4 dollars to take out $20 and then my bank charges me three extra dollars because it was out of network ATM. so because I was not told it was cash only this would not be my first choice again read more

$35 for a tire patch. All nuts were barely tight. No valve stem or balancing. The entire process takes under 5 minutes.

This guy is open on Sundays and repaired my tire quickly. Very much happy with the results.

Went in for a patch because there was a nail in the tread (brand new tires), the guy takes the tire off and brings it into the shop and brings it back out with severe damage to the sidewall (nowhere near the nail). Claims it was already there and says the only thing he can do is replace it with a used tire for $50. Please do NOT waste your time or your money here or you'll regret it!!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is unprofessional, overpriced for the quality of service, and shows little respect for customers' time. The work wasn't done right the first time, and when I brought it up, they didn't take accountability or try to make it right. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from a tire shop. There's a sign that said they accept tips, which struck me as unusual, but the quoted price was so low, and the service so prompt, I though, why not, an gave him a few extra bucks. 5 star... I myself have used Julians Several times for flat fix and patch repair and a used tire purchase but they went above and beyond for my senior parents. My dad needed 2 tires he was willing to go used with good tread, he came in with me and the guy had someone else ahead and we waited all of 5 minutes before he serviced my dad. We told him what we needed (front passenger tire showing the wire) and he said they didn't have his size in stock but he could rotate the tires in the meantime until he orders some so at least it would be safer for them to drive. $10 and 5 minutes later tire is changed and we're on the way back. Less than 1 week later my mom calls and the tires are in, 2 brand new for half the cost of Walmart and Costco installed and balanced.... How can you beat that! I came here for an easy patch on the thread of my wheel. I read a review that said $10 tire patch... I brought my tire in and he didn't even have to lift my vehicle or anything I removed it from my other car. All he had to do is patch it. He charged me $18!!! What a rip off!!! I know most places only charge $10 and for $20 you can buy a set of patches you can do yourself. I mentioned that what the review I saw and why the price is so high and he said it was 10yrs ago. This guy doesn't look like he's been working here for 10yrs. If you want to be ripped off come here... If you wanna patch a flat for cheap their is a place on the corner of Ramona and La Rica in Baldwin Park, CA I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! Great place for flat tire repairs! I went there twice in the past few years to have slow leak repairs. Price is very affordable less than $30 and I didnt have to wait too long. The mechanic is excellent at checking and finding leaks. I never had problems with repairs they did. I highly recommend them for flat tire repairs. read more

LOW CAR FRIENDLY ALIGNMENTS! Just need to be able to get up the ramp or you can just take off your bumper like I did and they will do it all by hand. Julian did a great job and is a super nice dude. Came in midday Sunday to check a tire, thanks to the amazing yelp reviews. The gentleman was kind, easily found the source of my leak and honestly said the patch could last months, could last forever, you just don't know. Hapoy to have a professional repair from a neighborhood business! My only concern is his hesitation when I asked the price. I want to believe that he quoted me fairly and didn't upcharge because it's a new tire or any other reason. Highly recommended and I will return again if need be, but I'll research prices to make sure im being charged fairly. read more
