I scored a good deal on Groupon, picked up a bottle of wine, and we headed to the studio on a Friday night. We got to use the airbrush and even spray paint on our master pieces this time. And, as always, Alex made the night fun, engaging, and creative, and we all ended up with a great painting of happy little trees to take home and brag about. Now, can I remember everything we did? Paint, scavenger hunt, paint, view a couple short videos of Alex's work (amazing), paint, roof view of Boise and foothills, paint, and adding a layer to the splatter paint room. I would give this place a zero star if I could. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. The business owner is rude and inconsiderate.

Having recently rekindled my desire for photography, I've taken Heidi's Photo 1 and Photo 2 courses. The one on one or classroom learning experience just can't be beat. Questions can be answered right away for any confusion you may have. Heidi does an excellent job of clearly explaining the process of photography. I've a much better understanding of how to correctly use my new camera, and I keep practicing to put my new knowledge to better use. I hope to one day take the analog course and delve back into actual film! But wait, there is more. Not only can you do photography here, you can also take art painting lessons, and summer camps for kids are also available. Heidi also does an introductory course using Adobe's Lightroom for editing your digital photos. There are easy projects and harder ones. The easy ones are trays and coasters, or little dishes. They also have wood painting for smaller kids who you want to bring along but don't trust handling glass!

Both of my kids have been attending Encore Creative Center since the beginning of the year, and we…read morecouldn't be happier with the experience. My daughter is currently taking piano and theater, and both classes have been wonderful. The theater program has really unlocked her love for performing, and her piano teacher has shown her how to be creative and truly enjoy making music. My son has taken part in the youth orchestra, where he plays the cello. The instructor is so passionate and makes sure each child has the chance to shine. He is also studying piano, and his teacher's thoughtful approach has helped him progress to more advanced pieces with confidence. Encore Creative Center offers such a warm and inspiring environment. The teachers really care about the students and make learning both fun and rewarding. She was very kind, patient, and helpful. My daughter and I each made our own pieces, working side by side. I was so very impressed how our projects turned out. Often, my daughter gets frustrated, noting that my projects turn out 'better' than her own. I try to explain how age, attention to detail, and the like affect our projects, but she still pouts. Well, this project was so well planned and easy to execute that my daughter's turned our looking fabulous! Later, family members had difficulty determining whom had made which. My daughter and I had such a great time that we are scheduled for another class already! I highly recommend this business, experience and the owner Kate!
