From the very first session, my instructor Valeriia made me feel confident and motivated. She turned what seemed like a difficult and stressful experience into something enjoyable and fun. Valeriia is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process. She explained everything clearly, understood my fears, and encouraged me every step of the way. Thanks to her excellent guidance, I passed my skills test today! I'm truly grateful for her help and couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Thank you so much, Valeriia!

Treasure Valley Driving School greatly eases a potentially scary adventure. I had no idea how the…read morepermit process worked in Idaho, and they graciously brought me up to speed. I mistakenly thought applying for a permit immediately meant a youngster could drive with a parent. Nope! They have to complete the online instruction first, then the instructor driving and observation time, and THEN the physical permit is provided for your child to drive with you. I expected they'd teach the basics: Starting the car, fixing mirrors, hand-over-hand and overcoming the foot pedal pressure required on both brakes and gas. I wasn't expecting much else in only 6 hours for a completely green child. Instead, in just those 6 hours of instruction, they'd parallel parked, gone on mountain roads, driven in downtown Boise, and changed lanes multiple times on the freeway!!! As if that wasn't impressive enough, they had also completed a mock run through the final driving course they have to navigate to get their license. I was utterly shocked at how strong of a beginner driver they gave back to me. I was not in fear at all when we started logging time together. A confident and knowledgeable driver is MUCH easier to guide through the many variables experienced on the road. The front office lady was very warm and friendly when I called to inquire. She explained everything to me and brought me up to speed. Their online course was fact-based, yet still enjoyable. My child was eager, and finished it with a passing grade inside of a week. Then we booked the instruction training appointments. I'd heard those can be hard to get at some places, and is one of the reasons I first looked here. They have multiple instructors (I think she said eight), which definitely allowed for time slots after school and on the weekends (summer bookings must be a breeze!). The cars are new, the instructors are knowledgeable and very competent, and the entire experience was positive. I can't thank Marshall, an instructor, enough for his teaching style that still resonates with my child whenever we start a driving session. I generally only write reviews for 1-star and 5-star experiences. The rest are run-of-the-mill. This experience was 5+. Thank you!

He was patient with my son, who had nearly no driving experience. Upon returning from the driving session with my son, I appreciated that Victor shared feedback and pointers from their drive with me and my son together. The suggestions given were specific on what my son should keep in mind--especially for the upcoming driving session (as he had 3 sessions total). Treasure Valley Driving School was convenient. It was nice for my son to take the lessons online, and then receive 1:1 instruction.

However, yesterday morning, the bus company completely failed to update the drivers records, resulting in my child being forgotten. We saw the bus driver driving past our house, not even stopping or slowing down to see us. I called company to ask them where his bus driver was, and they didn't know And put me on hold. They then came back on the line and said that the buses had already returned and nobody was coming to pick him up. So I had to consequently drive him into school and he was 20 minutes late. When I pulled up to the school, a bus was waiting outside at the entrance. I pulled up, and she confirmed that she has my son on her drop off route in the afternoon, but not for pickup before school. She was very kind. Her name was Karalynn. I called the office again, and spoke with the manager, Marie. I told her my frustrations, and reiterated that I was concerned about this becoming a regular occurrence. Yesterday afternoon I waited outside for the bus to drop him off at 2:55 which was his schedule drop off time. I saw him drive past our house without stopping. I called the bus company and they were unaware of the situation. They had to contact the driver to investigate. I demanded to know where my child was, but they couldn't tell me! The driver eventually arrived 23 minutes late at 3:18 PM. He was super creepy and wearing a wife beater tank top with all of his nasty chest hair sticking out. He explained that he did not have Nolan's and had to write it down on a piece of paper. He then forgot that he had done that so he forgot about my son. I expressed my frustrations with the service and his lack of attention. I called in this morning and spoke with the manager, Marie, again. She's the one I spoke with MULTIPLE TIMES yesterday. I asked why the Driver didnt call me to tell me he would be late. She claimed that it's a federal law. I asked why did t he report in to the office. She kept saying, "I understand your frustration" but she didn't ever apologize to me, until I asked for one. I said I wanted a new driver for drop off because I didn't feel comfortable with the guy who dropped him off. She said she's not able to do that, which is bull shit. There are other drivers that they could switch with. I even requested Karalynn, because she was nice and I met her act the school. Marie said no, because she has a different route. He was super creepy, and my gut told me, NO. I asked Marie to speak to her manager, and she told me that she was the manager. I asked to speak to her boss, and she said he'd have to call me back later, and that his name is Brent. After speaking with the bus company and leaving messages with the school, I have decided to pick my son up from school if the same driver is assigned to the future drop offs. This experience has caused significant anxiety. Nobody seems to care about my child's safety. Caldwell, Idaho
