Large, roomy, elegant but still laid back. We stopped in for lunch but I can totally see the dinner crown hanging here before after theater shows or shopping. The decor is clean, crisp, and stylish. The staff and service is excellent! Refined yet casual and comfortable. I wish I had asked my severs name she was great. In fact a few servers checked on us while she was bus attending to other tables. We started with the Brussels sprouts which were large and plentiful with some in zest we dug in and enjoyed them very much. I had burger which was hand pattied and full of flavor. Really good burger holds up to any burger out there really. My daughter had the rib eye steak sandwich which was really good as well and rather large for the price. Cooked just as requested and on a nice fresh bilillo type roll. It's a great stop and I definitely plan on trying dinner there as their offerings look excellent. This is a 2 day review. Our team was playing in the state baseball championship and we came to Juliet's. We called ahead to let them know we were coming 20-50 was the party size. When we showed up on Friday I was greeted with we were late. If 9 mins is late and an inconvenience then I'm sorry. After this misstep things were great. The staff was friendly and worked their tail off. Perry brought in extra staff to help out. Since we won we came back and the service was even better on Saturday. A huge shout out to Perry and staff. Thanks for helping us celebrate and bring the trophy home. Icing on the cake was when we saw the bar back crossing the street after the game he asked if we won. Dear Bill Dimitroulas REGARDING DINNER RESERVATIONS FOR DECEMBER 20,2025 Reservation #48317 On November 13, 2025, dinner reservations were made for 16 people for December 20, 2025, Confirmation #48317. We had purchased tickets to attend the Rialto Theatre Elvis Christmas Show that evening. We made reservations with Nick that day. We told him we just bought tickets for the 20th. If your have a policy we were never told then. We were having dinner and then would go over to show. We ate lunch at Juliets on November 13. At that time we questioned the elevator for handicap since our party included our Grandson who is in a wheelchair. Sign said handicap restroom upstairs. We questioned where elevator and was told it was not working. It was being fixed. Found out on December 20, 6 weeks later still not fixed. TOTALLY NOT ADA COMPLIANT. My grandson was told many times he would have to wait till he got to theatre. He is not at all able to walk and needs his chair to get close as possible. We came into the restaurant to see a sign 90 minute dinner time. At no time were we told from first reservation on November 13, email reminders and calling to make sure our reservations are confirmed that 90 minute time was established. No where in our confirmation states your policy. We began our dinner ordering drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Staff was accommodating. Takes time on their part to serve such a large party, which was not a problem with us. Understandable. TIME is the key factor on their part. We ordered dinner. Again time on their part. Broccoli came cold for a couple of dinners. Time again. Layna took great care of us. Her support staff was great. There were no issues. Serving so many people is so time consuming. We ordered dessert and after dinner drinks. We covered your whole menu and THEN TELL US TO LEAVE. My son orders another drink and then we are informed by the black man with a bun that our time was up and we had to leave. I showed him my bill which was $1,193.70. Order #3009 I added another $37.98 on for extra tip for waitress. Tip was never added because did not show up on card. The table of 8 next to us was told to leave also. They also were never told. Again asked to leave by the man. We stated we were never told about leaving. Sign at door. Again we mentioned no one ever told us ahead of time. He said not his problem and they don't know when the Rialto has shows. That's our policy. If there is such a policy we were never informed. So unreal. That is public knowledge. You are half a block from theatre you know exactly when shows are. Leaving earlier than we anticipated caused our handicap grandson to stay outside waiting to get into the show at 6:30. Again waiting 15 minutes to get to a bathroom in the cold that you were not ADA COMPLIANT. Your man was SO RUDE AND UNCOMPASSIONATE. Had a reservation but still waited nearly 30 minutes to be seated. Terrible service once at the table. The waitress took our food order and gave us our bill and that's it. Two sandwiches took 30 minutes and my burger was rare (I requested medium well). We had to shove our food to get to a show at the Rialto. The only saving grace was the manager who we asked to check on our food. She brought it out and it clearly had been sitting under the lights getting cold. We also had to ask the manager for our bill so we could get out of there. It seems like it's trying hard to be a restaurant but it's a bar. I'd go there for drinks not for food (mediocre at best) and certainly not while on a schedule. We allowed 90 minutes which should have been enough time for a sandwich before a show. read more

We came to Joliet for a concert. And we found this wonderful restaurant on yelp and OpenTable. I loved every bite of the loaded wedge salad and the chimichurri steak. Great happy hour specials, great array of food on their menu so you can come here basically craving something completely different each time. Great drink menu! They have mocktails on their menu if you want to stay sober, yet look part of the party. Great cocktails that their known for otherwise. The staff here was great, the people here were absolutely warm and welcoming. Very respectful guests and it's just an incredible location that is worth visiting. An okay bar. It doesn't have much good in terms of food with mostly greasy bar crap. Juliet's is also pretty expensive for around here and it's not even a fancy place. Go for happy hour to get something more reasonable and save more. The service is kind of slow. It pretty much is like an expensive dive bar. Prices are pretty high for around here. They're too much for drinks and food that's nothing upscale. Certainly some of the drinks are good. They're pretty expensive for most of these. I like the Blueberry Mule. It's $10 though which is quite a lot for a cup full of vodka with some extra stuff. This is made with agave syrup, ginger beer, and lime juice in flavored vodka. I have only had the House Chips. It's $2.50 for a plate. This is literally about the only food item without cheese or meat on this. Cool place except for the prices and lack of healthier eating. The menu was priced well with a daily special. The two waitresses did an outstanding job. They were very friendly and attentive to every guest from start to finish! The food was excellent- very tasty, and came out hot- which sometimes doesn't happen when you have a big group! Our waitresses also gave us a personalized tour of the party room(s)! Came for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered the delmonico ribeye. It was definitely not worth $38.00 So much fat on the meat, and the butter on top was actually cold. Should be room temperature butter to melt, no? I would recommend to order something else. But.... The crispy Brussel sprouts were utterly amazing. You will not be disappointed! My wonderful wife Laurie, planned my 60th birthday party at Juliet's and it was a totally successful event. The entire second floor was set aside for us and our guests. The decor and furnishings are delightful, it's a mixture of a quaint library with a lavishly appointed sitting room perfect for enjoying conversation over drinks and appetizers. Exposed brick walls, elegant woodwork are nicely complimented with cozy leather chairs a Chesterfield sofa and expertly crafted bookcases. The flooring is beautiful and compliments the surroundings perfectly. The staff on hand Brittany who tended the bar and Rachel who helped get the room ready are commendable for their efforts to make the event memorable. They were so helpful and gracious that they were more like friends. The food was exceptional and our compliments go out to the chef who prepared prime rib, chicken Vesuvio for our main dishes. The appetizers were meatballs, garlic crostini with goat cheese and Balsamic glaze , tomato and mozzarella skewers with Balsamic glaze and chicken skewers with a mustard glaze, salad and green beans, mashed potatoes and salad were also included. The food was better than anticipated and all of our guests were well attended to and appeared to be enjoying themselves immensely. A few months ago we decided to book our wedding rehearsal dinner at Juliet's for July 3rd. They gave us a nice tour, sold the heck out of the place to us, got us all excited.. fast forward to today, June 27th... 6 days before the rehearsal they called us and told us they just decided to be closed on the 3rd... ummm. The girl that called sounded like she couldn't care less and all we could think about was how she would feel if this was her wedding. No effort to help move us to a different place, no "sorry", nothing. This level of unprofessionalism from a rather large event management company is a new high for me. No excuse for how bad this service was. They need more bartenders or to take the bar seating away. We all planned on having a nice meal of steak, pasta, etc. and it took so unbelievably long to get our drinks that we ended up ordering salads/sandwiches so we didn't have to wait even longer. We wanted to share a cesar salad and the portabella sandwich. they split our food on two plates for us with no extra charge and gave us extra fries. The food was delicious and served promptly. Went here before a show at the Rialto. Service was good but it stops there. We ordered old fashioned cocktails and they were probably the WORST we have ever had. Hardly drinkable with muddled orange on the bottom that clogged the straw and entire drink tasted like tonic water (which isn't how an old fashioned is supposed to taste). For dinner my husband had the Juliet burger was horribly salty and barely eatable as well. I ordered the salmon sandwich which was ok but the little piece of salmon was drowned by the huge piece of bread it was served on. Only good tasting part of dinner were the fries and tater tots.
