Played here on a Wednesday. Pace of play was excellent, my husband and I played 18 holes in 3 hrs, never had to wait and there were a number of foursomes ahead of our 9 AM tee time. Course was scenic and in excellent shape but be warned that there are a lot of bunkers and sand traps. I took off 1 star because it is located out in the middle of nowhere and the price is almost double the rate of other courses in that area. read more

This is a beautiful course with incredible hospitality! I came to play with my husband and our friends and couldn't have imagined a better time! We arrived a little early and the staff member who checked us in was so nice! He put all of our bags into the carts for us, then realized I was a UF alumni and reorganized our bags into the orange and blue cart they have :). The course is very beautiful and well-maintained and despite our going a little slow, the staff members were extremely polite. Called Juliette Falls Golf Course to inquire about any maintenance going on. Young lady assured me there was none and wouldn't be any until late August early September. Made a foursome tee time 9:03AM. Drove over an hour to drive into empty parking lot. Wondered why, but unloaded clubs, paid, opted for lunch to be included, plus a few buckets of range balls. Starter asked if we were ready and though this is nice. Course was virtually empty. Hit approach shots to the green and then WHAM!! Greens had been punched with big holes and were completely sanded. Some greens were not even puttable so had to move ball all around. Saw a ranger and asked about the greens. He apologized and said we should ask for rain checks since the greens were in horrible shape. Went to speak to manager(Caylyn), but she had left for the day. Called next day, manager (Caylyn) out sick. Called next day only to hear Manager (Caylyn) tell me we seemed to have played on the wrong day and nothing she could do to straighten the mess up. I suggested rain checks but Caylyn said they only give rain checks when it rains. Terrible Customer Service! She acted like driving over an hour to play aerated greens was no big deal! Don't think we will be driving over an hour to return.. Very Unhappy! read more

Best course in the area. The whole course is well maintained and the practice facility is excellent. The staff were friendly. The course was not extremely difficult, but definitely not a beginner course. The waterfalls on holes like 13 and 18 were beautiful. The waste areas on almost every hole made each hole have its own challenges. Overall great course. I would recommend going to GolfNow and getting a tee time there, most times it is cheaper than booking directly from them. read more

My regular golf group played here yesterday. These folks know how to do it right. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in GREAT shape. The fairways were lush and weed free. The greens were a little slow because it looks like they had been verticut very recently. I've played here before and will definitely be back again. This is exactly the type of place to take your out of town guests to show off the golf courses in the area. Just to make it better the price is below the norm. read more

Juliette Falls was in Great Shape. This is a destination course for our group. Also, my cousin comes from out of state 4 X a year and this is his Favorite Course. The check-in staff, cart staff and Bar staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, the round was 5 3/4 hours long. We spoke to 2 Rangers, and they had no answers for the extremely slow play. From hole 8 on there was 3 groups on each hole. This was Sunday 3/26/23. What was supposed to be a Fun round quickly turned. Our round was 5 3/4 hours long, which is 1 hour and 30 minutes longer than the published round on the golf cart information sheet. For the price of the course this is unacceptable for keeping flow in a round. When we spoke to the counter girl about the issue, she apologized but another employee spouted off that they had a Big Money Tournament going on and that's the way it was. She basicaly told our group we did not matter and the premium price we paid was unimportant. That is truly unfortunate as we love this course but to be treated like this after playing 5 3/4 hours, the desire to go back has been reduced. I hope this is a one off as this type of customer service does not do this Great Course Justice. All Customers paying a premium Price for this course should be treated as Valued Guests. read more

This is an excellent track...whether you're a low- or high-handicapper. The course is challenging but fair. The greens are quick...often 12 to 13 on stimp meter. Personally, I like that it is a fun course to play...in an environment that is relatively quiet...not too many houses along the course. We travel about 35 minutes...passing other courses...like Candler Hills and Stone Creek...because this is simply more fun...better pace of play...friendly staff. Without a doubt...a bargain course at less than $50 and the best course within 50 miles. read more

This golf course is fantastic and difficult when playing for the first time and will be even after a few rounds. The greens are fast (great!) with lots of undulation (need to know where to hit it). I played with 3 locals that were 20+ years of age younger, very good and hit it a mile and so we played the tips (Viking tees/7200+ yards), which I thought may be a problem (bad shoulder/elbow), but it was a great round since I've lately been playing with the 120-140 scorers, which is a drag. Managed an 83, only two bad shots, and couldn't get a birdie putt to drop but then in some cases, in the wrong spot to be on the green. Wanna play again and again! read more

My family and I LOVE playing this course, but it's really sad how poorly my dad and I were just treated on what was supposed to be a great outing together. My dad booked a tee time for 3:14 this afternoon, but when we got there the man working in the pro shop said he didn't have a reservation for us, not just that but we were never entered into the computer at all. We did... I heard him on the phone clearly make a tee time for 3:14 on Saturday afternoon. The employee was extremely rude to us, saying we were wrong, despite my dad trying to go through the course of events explaining who he had spoken to on the phone and what time he had called. The employee didn't want to hear it. Told my dad it was his mistake, and didn't apologize. No trying to make it right. No offer to come back another time... Nothing. Just nastiness and insisting the mistake was not on behalf of Juliette Falls. So we're off to a different course now. Steer clear of Juliette Falls if you would like to be treated with respect. It's too bad, I'll miss this course. read more

The golf course is superb and deserves its accolades and ratings. Unfortunately, the day we played, pace of play was horrible. After 4 hours and 20 minutes we were still waiting on the 16th tee for those in front to finish. A member of the group behind us as well as the twosome paired with us drove off the course. We did as well. When we stopped in the club house to share our concern, the manager did not apologized and only mentioned that a ranger had been out on the course and removed a slow group. We shared that we hadn't seen a ranger on the course the entire time we were playing. Disappointing operation for a beautiful track. read more

Beautiful, scenic and difficult. Hopefully you'll get paired with someone that has played the course before. Great greens. Our experience was horrific due to no course ranger. The group in front of us was young male adults with no obvious golf experience. They spent as much time hanging out with the beverage cart as they did in their golf cart. All were drunk and abusive to the tee boxes and sand traps. Slow. slow play. So much so we quit after 12 holes. Thus the two star rating. read more

This place has wonderful atmosphere but the nachos we ordered were terrible. We asked for beef to be added as their nachos did not come with a protein. The beef mixture they added was way too salty. It was $5 more dollars and it ruined the nachos. The queso cheese we asked for on the side was not the white queso cheese we know, it was a deep yellow color and I can not really say what it was, the taste was horrible. The waitress was nice, friendly and talkative, however she did not ask us why we left so much food. We will return one more time trying out a different menu option as we definitely believe in a second chance. Probably should of said something but just wanted to leave after that experience. read more

Course needs to be extremely watered! Lots of brown spots and greens are suffering. Too expensive for a poorly kept course. When I think of the "finest golf course in Florida" I expect green fairways and smooth greens. Not brown fairways and diseased greens. Not paying $42.95 for a burned up course. I'll take my money elsewhere until they get this course back into good conditions. read more

Beautiful course. Greens are as near perfect as any course in Florida. Closest course to AGNC in quality of care, I have ever played.

We had a party of ten paying to golf. We bought ten meals and multiple rounds of beer. We were the only group on the course and there are no residents surrounding the gold course because the community was never developed. We were kicked off the golf course after the 9th hole. We were treated with extreme disrespect by a woman named Pam who claimed we were ruining the landscape (we accidentally ran through some rocks next to the clubhouse). The fact that our group spent so much money only to get kicked out for a minor offense speaks volume about the management skills. read more

Not so much writing about the restaurant as I am the bar. Although I'm not a member a few of us enjoy stopping in on our way home from golf to enjoy a cold one...or two! The girls in the bar area as well as the restaurant are awesome. Caroline, Bae, "Savy", Sam, Alexis and more are all very friendly. And if you can find a bartender with a bigger, cuter smile than Alexis, let me know where. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. read more

Place was horrible. Food sucked. Service was horrendous. The girl behind the bar was not friendly and terrible at customer service. Was told the burger comes medium and can't change it. They don't carry pickles, asked to change the cheese they said I can't, asked to change the side(don't mind paying more fora different side) they said we can't. lol I was in shock and blown away. No bev cart girl but was looked at negatively when we came in after the turn for a quick snack and a beer. Then have a bev cart ! Speed of play was horrible. Course and club house was pretty beautiful. Too bad it's ran the way it is. Have heard from many people the course is going down hill for the past few years. What a shame. Juliette Falls has the opportunity to one of the best courses in central Florida. The course is a great layout but the big problem is the management of the course and clubhouse. The course gets a lot of maintenance, which can be a good thing, but in this case the superintendent WAY over does it. All the full time members get screwed out of having a playable course for the entire summer. The course gets drastically aerated THREE TIMES in June, July and August. The course gets shredded and never totally recovers before they do it again. A huge shame. The members should be pissed. And for what? The course is not exactly pristine during the fall/winter season. It always has bare spots and issues on the greens. This team needs to back it down, get real, and provide its members a playable, enjoyable course. Then there's the clubhouse. A VERY poorly run operation. The kids that runs the proshop is totally unprofessional (everyone is "Hey Buddy!"). Read some of the other reviews. He's made huge mistakes with taking reservations and scheduling large groups. Imagine showing up with a group of 20 friends and finding out your reservation never got entered! Then no one seems to know when the bar and restaurant is open, what events are scheduled, how to run the computer systems, etc, etc. They have monitors showing all kinds of weekly events and schedules.....almost none of which were accurate. The turnover of employees is like a revolving door. Poor training, no visible management. I understand the owner has a number of businesses, but its clear he doesn't give a hoot about the golf course and certainly not the people who paid $3500 to be a member to play on crappy greens and chopped up fairways. I doubt it'll be around for much longer. I've heard a lot of members didn't return this year, and lots of the ones that did have had enough. read more
