Biscuits and gravy
Jeremiah F.

Worst biscuits and gravy I've had at a "restaurant" The biscuits were store-bought and the gravy was out of a can Would not recommend, really thought it would be made in house My dad had a breakfast burrito that he liked

Still a good spot for coffee and a good meal. I like their breakfast burritos. I do enjoy their Nutty Blonde coffee. I do miss the old location but they are making this spot feel the same. Thanks for bringing something good to Kansas Avenue.

Get the Coconut Cream Pie!!!! Hubby had the Custard pie and it reminded him of his childhood. Need a pie for upcoming Thanksgiving celebration?? Check their Facebook page and do not miss out on one of their homemade pies.

I really thought I was going to like this place more than we did. It is a local hang out but they get business from hotel across the street too as was the case with us. It is nice to support the small local businesses. I ordered the breakfast biscuit with sausage egg and cheese. My husband got the the cleverly named, horse food. It was oatmeal with blueberries, apple and cinnamon. It seemed to be missing the honey which was okay with him however what was not okay was the fact they were instant oats! Not at all what we expected. My biscuit was good not great. The sausage and egg were good but the biscuit was ho-hum. A bit dry and past the golden brown stage. We did have to wait a little bit for our food to arrive but considering there was 1 man cooking on a tiny griddle it could have been much worse if they had been busy. Coffee was fine. I will say the 2 folks waiting the counter were very nice esp the gal. One issue I had with the place was ladies room. It was freezing!! I mean cold in there. The toilet handle was also half broken off. If I was in the area again I would probably give it another try so there were some positives.

If you are taking a road trip out west definitely add this place to your bucket list! This place was a great break from the fast food usuals on a road trip. Greeted with kind faces and a warm home like atmosphere this little bistro was a diamond in the rough. I recommend the train wreck and the oatmeal for breakfast along with one of the specialty coffees! Everything was made relatively quick and there were many gluten free/ dairy free options for anyone that has dietary restrictions!

Ask the Community - Juli's Coffee and Bistro

It says this is wheelchair accessible. Is there a ramp somewhere? Is there an elevator somewhere in the building? I have family coming into town that I'd like to take here, but not sure they could make the climb up the stairs.

Yes to all accessibility questions. Since we are on the National Register of Historic Places, we do the best we can by offering an entrance at the sidewalk level just east of our main door, It is marked "other". There is a ramp inside and out, that…

Ordered a soup & 1/2 sandwich combo. Sandwich was decent. The soup tasted like they just opened the can poured it in the bowl added croutons and shredded cheese. Needless to say the soup was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. The taste was horrible and it smelled like stew. I had to ask for a lid for my drink cup as there weren't any stocked. As for my daughter's sandwich ...the bread was so hard you couldn't chew it, no chicken to speak of and the cheese was melted everywhere but the sandwich. No other toppings Her Mac n cheese was at least warm and half way decent. Then when we were leaving I needed something for my daughter's sandwich that she didn't finish. Stood at the counter for ever to get a piece of paper given to me to wrap it in. No bag, not a box offered...nothing. Had to ask for the sides that were included...chips, bread for the soup and the sauce for sandwich. Will not return.

The food was excellent I thought you had a great flavor to it especially the chicken wings they were delicious the jalapeno poppers were delicious . All together all the food was served with a great presentation. Happy Birthday 3/14/2026 I would like to also say thank you for the invite I truly had a great time and it was awesome visiting with everyone stay safe and have a great year see you next year.

The chicken however was like rubber. I ate half a small piece and put the rest to the side. My husband had the Pulled Pork platter which is normally good. The meat was really dry. I ate all the pasta and told our server about the chicken being like rubber and she stated that she's mentioned that exact thing to the cooks but that maybe if a customer complains they would possibly listen. What made me a little annoyed though was that I ate none of the chicken yet they didn't at least bump off a few bucks off my meal. The service was fine but I feel like over the years this has become my last choice versus my first choice.
