Sounds like it's a common thing that they bait and switch you to get you to come to the store. Saw a camera priced at $150 on Facebook marketplace. When it get to the store FROM ORANGE COUNTY after corresponding with them about the post, the camera is 2x the price at $300. I've NEVER purchased anything from a pawnshop before and never will even consider it again. RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM HERE! Do not buy, regardless of how good the deal SEEMS. Really helpful and friendly staff. This was my first time selling something at a pawn shop and I always feared it which caused me to avoid it. But I sucked it up and I walked in there and to my surprise it was a very pleasant experience. Obviously, when you go sell something you aren't going to get what you believe you should. I mean think about it as a business owner. If you were a reseller and a buyer you wouldn't buy something for 1,000 knowing you can only sell it for 500 it doesn't work that way. So, keep in mind that what you think may be worth x amount of money will definitely be worth less than you may think. Set your expectations but don't set them too high. However, there is always room for negotiation so NEGOTIATE in a fair way of course. They also have a good amount of goodies for sale. They have everything from comic books to dvds to guns (kind of scary but, hey AMERICA!) if you're looking for a deal I would definitely stop here. overall a great local pawn shop with great honest employees. I talked to Jeff and made a deal to purchase an item outside of an auction. I had a really difficult time finding a shop that had it. We came to terms by phone and email. Since I was coming from about an hour drive, I let Jeff know that I had to schedule some time out of my workday to make the purchase. I arranged the time off work and I found out that he sold it to someone who would pay more despite our agreement. Of course there was no contract, but I was disappointed that he didn't uphold the sale. If he didn't agree over the phone, I wouldn't have made the trouble to take some time off work. Wow. Made an account just to review these crooks. Dishonest people. First time pawning something and this is how it turns out. I wanted to pawn a relative's ring and really didn't know much about diamonds or anything and one of the ladies working at the front told me the best she could do was only $500 for a $15,000 ring. One of the managers was up there as well and when I asked if they could do a better price and didn't pay no attention and gave me a simple "no". Anyways, I ended up pawning it, and later found out it was worth much more than $500. I came back and got my ring back. This was my experience and I can't believe these people are still in business. Really horrible experience, I don't usually write any reviews but have to write one to warn people. As another yelper had wrote, beware when you're selling your jewelry. Since I am young the guy probably thought I didn't know how much my ring was. But I had bought it myself and had it appraised at a different more known place. When I got it appraised they told me it was worth 400$-500$, the guy at this shop, told me he couldn't do an appraisal but that he would tell me how much he would buy it for. I said okay. He inspected it and told me he could buy it for 30$!!!! I rejected his offer and left the store. Never coming back. read more

I came into this establishment two days ago looking to sell my gold chain. There was a big Caucasian man who took the chain to be appraised. It was definitely not my first time getting the same chain checked for its authenticity so I was used to it but as soon as the man started talking to me, I could tell from the tone in his voice he must've thought I was some dumb black kid or street punk. From there on, I already knew he was going to play me over my chain but I just played along rather than to say something and make a scene. Usually the process doesn't take so many times to scrape some gold off a piece and dab some drops of that solution stuff on it but this guy first off, broke off a link in the chain as a sample to test out (which is never done, they scrape the gold off.. what he did was make the piece weigh lighter) went over the same process about six to eight times and then would bring it up to his face to examine and re-examine over and over. I knew this guy was going to tell me some bullshit. And just as I suspected, he did. He then went on to tell me that the gold Franco necklace I've owned and purchased myself from a jeweler, was fake and all that was real was the gold medallion. Instead of acting out or arguing, I just retrieve my property and respectfully left. I couldn't stand to have my intelligence insulted like that. read more

I went in to buy a ring I seen on advertised on letgo. It was an engagement ring priced for 675 dollars. And we do layaway I thought perfect I don't have all the cash for it .so I drove from Corona to downtown riverside. I get to the shop ask the worker about the add on letgo. We find the ring in the case and he tells me he doesn't post the adds and doesn't know where that ring is. So I send 30 minutes going threw all the rings until I find the exact ring in the add .he pulls it out and it has a 900 hundred dollar price tag on it .I'm like its advertised for 675 online for the same ring Wtf .I already showed it to my girlfriend and shes in love with it .so he goes and talks to the manager and says well I'll give it to you for 675 .I'm like ok kinda shady but whatever I'll take it .I go to the counter start doing the paperwork tell him I'm putting a hundred down and will bring a few more hundred next week. He stops me says well that price is if you buy it now not for layaway. So I have to pay an extra 225 to put something on layaway. First off ur advertising something for cheaper than it is then jacking the price up when I come to the store and telling me I have to pay extra because I'm putting it on layaway. What a rip off but my girlfriend is in love with it so I'll eat the extra money sence I drove all the way out here. I put a hundred dollars down and leave the store . I found a way better deal a week later for way cheaper so I figured there playing games with me at the pawn shop .I'm over it I go back to the pawnshop and ask for my down payment back .well you don't get a refund until you've made three payments. So they wouldn't give me my money back. Absolute horrible customer service and shady about switching prices around. Don't do business with this place ever read more

I'm only giving two stars because they seem to have a wide variety of items. I have only been to this place once and I was not happy with the customer service. I went in to pawn a firearm. I only brought one clip in because I forgot the other one at home but the lady told me if I had the second clip I'd probably be able to get more money. She asked the guy in the back if he'd be willing to loan more with the second clip and he replied "maybe". I didn't want to go home to get the second clip on the basis of there being a slight chance of increasing the loan amount. Next I was told that they could give a check because they were out of cash. I was given the option to come back later if I wanted cash. I opted to just return later. The guy came to the front and chimed in with this response, "well if you don't have a problem then you should be able to cash the check". Obviously if I say I'd rather come back for the cash it was because I needed the cash, not a check. I shouldn't have to feel like I need to tell my entire life story to this stranger. I feel like the comment was very rude and that he was implying something negative. I took back my things and left. I decided not to go back there and found a place that loaned more money than what this place offered. Also, the customer service was excellent at the other pawn shop. Employees at Inland Jewelry and Loan should be more courteous to customers. read more

Nice people, but they did not adhere to state law and hold onto items for the mandatory 30 day time period. When I went in to recover stolen items I was told that the staff made a mistake and sold my gold rings to a company that melts gold. Now they are refusing to replace my items, so I have to take legal action which only makes a bad situation worse. I am very sad. read more

i placed a deposit for an item, i made a payment or two then i decided i did not need that item and told that i could use the credit for anything else i wanted, that turned out to be a lie, when i wanted to use my credit, they declined because allegedly it was a new owner. it is my understanding that when your purchase a business, you purchase profits, debts, liens and other related issues such as lay-aways, i ended up with no item and lost my money, although it was close to $100.00 dls but the questions is... how many other people had or will have the same or similar experience with this store. read more

I have never sold anything before but needed a little extra money and inherited a few items. Because they were given to me - I wanted to make sure I did not accept just any low ball offer. I went to about 3 locations before stopping at this place. I felt so comfortable and knew that this was the place. I met Jeff and that was the confirmation. He is honest and professional. He did not give me the feeling of a con-artist like the other location staff. I thank Jeff for an easy transaction and his honest presence.
