The manager will try and tell you it's the lights that's causing the heat and so many people inside but that's a falsity. Price wise it's reasonable in comparison to other kids locations. But invest in your business with air conditioning. Me and my family have been at places like this on other states and regardless of the heat outside if your AC unit is working it's cool inside. This made for a quick trip.

While there, I observed a couple near the bungalows kissing and groping each other in a children's play area while their kids played nearby. What was most concerning was that staff did not appear to address the situation. I also noticed that many of the employees assigned to the play areas were sitting down and talking among themselves rather than actively monitoring the floor. As a parent, I did not feel comfortable having my children around that type of behavior in a family-oriented environment. Because of this experience, even though we are locals, we have chosen not to continue giving this business our support. I believe closer supervision and more attentive staff presence would help create a safer and more appropriate atmosphere for families. This was our experience and a reply/justification attempt will not change it.

When concerns were raised, there was no explanation, no apology, and no effort to help. One of the play areas has been out of service for months, showing a clear lack of maintenance. I also did not see a business license displayed, nor any customer service contact information available at the front desk. Because this business serves children, I strongly believe the City of Thousand Oaks should visit this location, verify proper licensing, and ensure it meets basic health, safety, and operational requirements. At minimum, a kids' facility must have a working restroom and hand-washing access. Until these issues are addressed, I do not recommend this place to parents.

The good thing that once you are inside it is gated and locked so no need to worry about your kid running off. My oldest loved it and for that same reason I rate it a bit higher. The service was very good, staff very attentive, streamlined process for everyone and everything. Not to mention very clean. Later that same day I had realized I lost two hundred dollar bills somewhere and I was at dinner with an empty wallet. I went I to full panic and almost wrote it off because I had little faith I would find it. For the heck of it, I called scooters to see if maybe I dropped it there and the staff said they'd look around and call me back. I got a call back wayyyyyyy after hours for the establishment telling me they found it and that they'd hold it for me as long as I needed. They even opened the doors for me after hours to give it back. Scooters jungle is not only an amazing place for children but also tended to by people who care about their relationships with their patrons. Out of principle I will be having my next kids event there, because they go above and beyond.

Having the logistics of throwing a party be handled by Scooter's Jungle was, again, so immensely helpful. We could all just focus on celebrating our birthday boy and, of course, non-stop play.

great place for all levels of riders either it be BMX, Skate, or Scooters. there is something for…read moreeveryone. the park is clean and well maintained. there is an indoor and an out door facility which is a plus for when the park gets packed. the park also recently added a bunch of new ramps that really adds to the flow and style of the park. they also offer a great scooter retail section along with a clothing (shoes, shirts, pants, hats, eye ware, helmets, headphones, etc...) BMX retail is ok if your looking to upgrade some of the smaller items such as bars rims stems etc... and the skate department has everything you would need for any complete. i am really pleased with how family friendly and detail oriented the staff is and everyone seems to have something good to say about the park. and finally YES, they installed a HUGE industrial sized AC in the park which keeps the park at a ride able temperature during the summer and they also have heating for those cold winters. and rentals include bikes, skateboards, scooters, and helmets for a minimal charge. and i also was very pleased to find out they offer the facility to be rented out for private parties and birthdays for only a charge of $50 per hour!!! in my opinion this is a great deal from other places i have ridden. not to mention after their free ride session is over the charge is only $3 how cheap is that? AWESOME. The first time we went the woman at the counter was a bit abrasive and rude. She made our child uncomfortable with how she spoke to them. We thought maybe a "off day for her" when we swung back through the town on our way back my husband said we should stop again. My kids where not thrilled as our first time was dicey with counter help, but wonderful with rest of staff. Again, the woman was at the counter. She was again abrasive and rude. Didn't explain rules, but if any kids did anything she was all over them shouting. There is an area for parents to sit, but as sitting there I heard her say to another parent, "I hate when people come from out of town! I think this park should just be for locals!" Well lady.....we will oblige and want to make sure others know that outsiders are NOT welcome. The other staff especially the male owner was great and obviously trying to "make up" for attitude and behavior of this worker.
