I used jump connection for my retirement party in my back yard two weeks ago. Tables, chairs, linens, umbrellas and a dbl margarita machine. I had a great experience renting from these guys. We got the joust jumper and everyone had a blast. Margarita Mike is a little eccentric on the phone but he took care of us and got us set up with what we needed including the last-minute addition of some tables and umbrellas. Delivery and pick up by Tony were as scheduled, and very quick and professional. I didn't give 5 stars because this is obviously not brand new equipment. This was expected since they are the lowest price I could find in the area by far. My compliments to this company, especially to Mike(owner) and to Shelly. The 20x30 tent, fans with lights, misting fans, tables, chaffing dishes, tablecloths, and chairs were all delivered on time. The fan/lights were awesome especially since our party went into the night. Loved the misting fan (I think Mike is the only one who rents these out). The misting fan was a huge plus because it was very humid the day of our party and it really helped to keep our guests cool. We had many compliments about the misting fan from our guests who said it was like being in an air-conditioned tent. All the rented equipment came clean and well taken care of. I especially liked that the tent was made in America, as a matter of fact I think Mike was also Made in America. No problems with the set up everything worked as planned. I found my experience to be positive with this company. Mike and his assistant set up the tent the day before the party, and they did a great job. The day after the party they came promptly and took everything down. My yard was left in great condition, and I was pleased with his customer service. I put on a fundraiser for The American Heart Association and rented a combo slide and jumper, popcorn machine, and cotton candy machine. I ordered a jumper for my daughter's b-day party. They showed up with a jumper that had a leak, so they advised me that they were going to get me another one. My rental time was for 6 hours... So three hours later passed, and I ended up calling and talking to the owner. He was only going to credit me $20, instead of providing me with a 50% off. Needless, to say, I cancelled and got my money back. I had some disappointed kids, and if I would have read the previous Yelps, I wouldn't have ordered from jump connection. Good luck. read more

Had reserved a jumper, the driver showed up alone unable to set up the jumper because he did not have help, so he said he was going back to get a smaller one and never returned, then avoided my phone calls. Every September All Saints Church in Pasadena holds its annual Homecoming celebration, and the weather is notoriously hot! For the last two years I have been in charge of the children's carnival games. We were excited about the PIng-Pong-Toss because it offered a fun and cool water feature for the kids. I used Jump Connection this last weekend. We needed canopies, tables (rectangular, round and bar tables), and chairs for a party we were hosting for 150 people. They were phenomenal! Shelly and Mike were wonderful and professional to work with and made the entire process very easy. I made a number of changes to the rental amounts. Each change was handled efficiently and with no questions asked. The rentals were delivered the day before the party by Kevin who was also wonderful. Everything came clean and it good condition. I should have read their reviews before going with them! Don't rent from them...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We had reserved a large hot dog roller. When my husband went to pick it up, the "manager" said it was broken and offered to replace with a small roller which grills 18 hotdogs. We are having 150 guests, so the small grill would not suffice. When I called to question why we were not contacted in advance about the broken large roller, the "manager" got very upset, said she has been very busy and didn't have time to contact me. I explained that we did not live in the area and my husband trekked out to Azusa only to find out they did not have what we wanted. She was very rude, and said there was nothing she could do, that she hasn't had time to even confirm her other orders. That isn't my problem and I don't know why that has anything to do with my order? I explained that if I was contacted sooner, I could have saved my husband the drive there as well as have time to call another vendor to rent from. She just kept saying there was nothing she could do and that was it. TERRIBLE!!! read more

We were extremely dissatisfied with this company. We were told the bounce house and tables/chairs we rented would be picked up at 8pm. At 8:30 when they hadn't showed up, we called to see when they'd arrive. They told us they would have to come the following morning due to "traffic." We were promised a pickup at 9am and they didn't arrive until 12 noon. When they showed up, they had a pickup truck that was entirely too small for the load. 1 1/2 hours later, a larger truck arrived driven by Mike, who is the owner of the company. When I confronted him about the unprofessional manner of the company, his son (whom had arrived in the small pickup) proceeded to start shouting obscenities at me, calling me names and cursing. Mike did nothing to stop him nor placate me. His son drove away with his middle finger out the window shouting, "f*ck you!" down my cul-de-sac. We did nothing to deserve this behavior aside from telling them how frustrated we were with the delay. If we hadn't payed the money upon delivery, there would be no way we would have payed for this kind of treatment and product. They were completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I would give this company a big fat zero if I could!! This place is horrible!! Do not rent from them!!!! Save yourself from the stress!! I rented tables & chairs & a jumper from this place last month for my 5 year olds birthday party. Let me start off saying that MIKE the owner, the person I spoke to over the phone to rent the items was very helpful & nice over the phone, at first since obviously he wanted my business/money. But wow was I fooled!! He is the worst most rude and disrespectful person to ever deal with!! Please avoid him!! He was supposed to deliver my items for the party at 11am & the party started at 1pm. It was 12pm & no tables or chairs or jumpers!!! I called MIKE & asked him what was going on & yes I was clearly upset but I did not get disrespectful. I told him my party starts in 1 hour & he said he thought he gave my order to another guy to deliver but he forgot!!! (Mind u that he called me 3 days before the party to confirm my order & everything was ready & was going to be delivered on time so he said. Boy was he wrong!) I said how can you forget about my order? & I said he was very unorganized & he should of called me to let me know what was going on. He then got very upset & said he was very busy & that I was being rude & that he was going to cancel my order!!! Of course with only 1 hour before the party started I did not want to cancel the order but he kept talking over me & wouldn't let me speak & kept saying how rude I was being & said he didn't want to deliver my order! I told him that there was no way he is going to cancel my order because obviously where else am I going to get tables & chair & a jumper in 1 hour before the party starts?? He knew I didn't want to cancel my order & was saying that to upset & stress me out.. He DID NOT apologize once!!! NOT ONCE! He was very childish & not once did I say to cancel my order. I had absolutely no choice but to get my items from him since I had no time at all to go somewhere else & he knew that & so he took advantage of being very rude & disrespectful over the phone. Finally he said he was gonna have someone else bring my order & said they would deliver in 30 minutes. A half hour before the party started!! The guys finally came and yes they were actually very nice & they apologized for the mix up. But another problem occurred when I seen the jumper! It was the wrong jumper!!! I ordered a simple red yellow & blue castle jumper but the one they brought was a boys jumper. My child is a girl!!! It was a sports jumper with a basket ball, soccer & baseball on it. The party was a colorful rainbow theme! & MIKE knew that as I explained over the phone when I placed the order! I was over the edge at this point but I did not let my anger get the best of me. I told the delivery guy that was the wrong jumper & he quickly apologized & said he would deflate it ASAP & bring the correct jumper. Mind u the party at this point started in 5 minutes!! & yes I already had people showing up! It was very embarrassing & inconvenient for my guests & kids as I was trying to fix this huge problem. They finally brought the correct jumper & set it up fast. & he did apologize again but I will never ever do business with Jump connection again!!!! Please do NOT rent from these people!!! When I went and rented the tables, chairs, umbrellas, and stands, Shelley was very nice. Verified the day before delivery and was told they'd be at my house between 10:30am-1230pm. So I left to run errands and get the cash. They showed up at 9:00amish. I had to stop, get the cash, run home, and pay them. Agree with previous notes that the tables were splintered and the chairs were dirty. They in formed me that an umbrella base was missing. Was told that he would be right back to bring stand. At 3:00pm I had to call and remind them. Next day as we were setting up for party, noticed we were missing a umbrella stem. Called, Mike answered. When I told him he passed the blame onto me. I asked how we were going fix this and was told he would give me $10.00 back. NO, I wanted the umbrella for my table. He had an "Too Bad Attitude". We rented a bouncer, tables and chairs for a 3 hour party. They only rent for 8 hours. One chair was delivered broken, then an hour into the party the blower for the bouncer we rented broke down and deflated with a bunch of kids inside. This was really dangerous and scary for children and parents! Children were crying and scared, one child bumped his head trying to get out. My husband called and an hour later they brought a new blower, but by then the kids were too scared to go back in. The owner said this happens all the time, trying to make excuses and blame us, then said he already fixed the blower. The owner tried to blame us for his faulty equipment! It was NOT unplugged, our fuses did not pop, and the owner tried to say it was our electrical, but we had our house completely re-wired recently, and this just an old blower. He offered a lousy $10 discount for the ordeal, and when I argued he tried to make it sound like we planned on never paying in the first place. We agreed that we would NOT call his company again. Terrible. Awful equipment. Awful customer service. If you rent from this company, the blower that he "fixed" was an old beat up blue metal machine. The replacement was a newer looking plastic one. DO NOT ACCEPT THE BLUE METAL BLOWER, A CHILD COULD GET HURT IF A BOUNCE HOUSE COLLAPSES! read more
