I waited 2.5hrs and nothing, no update just checked on the worthless ETA they were constantly increasing when it would get to 2 min. I am with my children and waiting outside of a Safeway. I decide to call and see what is going in since the mechanic shop is about to close. And the rude unprofessional, im sure not even a HS diploma uneducated customer service rep said "oh there is problem with the driver and getting keys. I was about to go on vacation and my van *door fell off!* My van was full of stuff, undriveable, and stuck on the second floor of a low ceiling garage (ie no tow!). AAA said their vendors couldn't help. Called someone else, and he couldn't help but gave me Daniel/Jump Start Hero's number. Daniel had me at "yeah, I'll come out." But the experience got even better from there. He was cheerful and personable, put up with my barking dog, and after some magic witha socket wrench and a lot of muscle, he managed to get the door into a closed/fastened position so I could drive with it. Daniel is a hero!! Our car died and we called Daniel. Within 15 minutes he was there. He tested our battery first and we discovered that it was basically dead. He tried to give us a jump anyways, but to no avail. Fortunately he offered us a completely new battery from his arsenal of hero equipment in the back of his car. He installed the new battery himself all the while chatting and being super friendly with my boyfriend. Within 20 mins the job was done and we were on our way! Daniel was prompt and arrived exactly when he said he would be here to replace my dead battery. Daniel is a very pleasant fellow and quite professional, but I gave him 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons: First, Daniel did not put a power saver on my car so when he disconnected the old battery, I had to recode the Honda radio. I told Daniel that was OK (after I realized he hadn't retained the power and codes) because I thought I had the code. Unfortunately, because I entered wrong numbers 10 times after Daniel left, the radio locked until I either cut the power by pulling off a battery cable (which I did not do because I don't have the tools), or leave the radio "on" (no sound) for a full hour after which the code is supposed to reset which it did not. After a second try an hour later, I was able to enter the proper code and the radio works fine now (much of that "on" time was when I was driving the car, so it didn't deplete the new battery). Second: While Daniel gave me a simple paper receipt, I did not get anything resembling a new battery warranty. I should've asked for that but didn't think of it at the time. In any case, while I gave Daniel 4, not 5 stars, I still highly recommend him if you want a new battery delivered to you and installed quickly. Just remember to have your correct radio codes handy! read more

I lost my wallet while visiting San Francisco and had no way of getting gas at the end of the night to leave. I managed to coast into a Safeway parking lot on Market Street where I called my insurance to have a gas delivery. They sent Jump Start Hero and Donnell came to the rescue!
