They have the worst boba I have ever had before. But the real problem is the service. They have stool stuff from me many times. Junbi has a unique menu that not many places in the area has. Revolving around Matcha, Junbi offers a lot of different flavor drinks. I would say that they are rather inconsistent with their Boba as there have been times were the Boba were overcooked or undercooked and it makes the drink a lot less desirable. read more

The oolong with milk is too sweet for me, I ordered less sweet but still too sweet, it tasted like milk cap instead of milk added to tea, I can't taste the oolong. I ordered a green tea with dragon fruit and aloe jelly add-in with less sweetness and still kind of sweet for my liking...also for $8+. After seeing so many of my friends visit junbi, I decided to give it a try while in Princeton. It was slightly crowded on a Saturday afternoon, both with people studying and customers, but there were one or two tables still open as well as the high chair area. You have the option of ordering from a kiosk near the entrance or at the counter for some human interaction. My friend got the matcha soft serve while I ordered the vanilla soft serve and strawberry latte. Sadly, the matcha soft serve came quite melted, but my friend still thought it was yummy despite not enjoying matcha drinks. My vanilla soft serve was also tasty and fortunately unmelted, but I found the texture to be slightly grainy and not as smooth as I would have liked. I originally wanted the raspberry white chocolate latte, but they unfortunately didn't have it available, so I instead got the strawberry latte. The drink itself was very pretty, with three layers of coffee, milk, and strawberry, and I enjoyed the not excessively sweet combination of fruit and coffee in the drink. Junbi has a nice menu of unique drinks and the location itself seems like a nice place to study with wifi provided, although the noise level might be a bit high. I hope to return soon! read more

I knew I had to go check this place out after hearing about it from so many people. I'll be honest, I'm not a matcha person. I never really liked anything matcha flavored at all, so I was nervous about coming here. Located in the main streets of Princeton, next to the campus, it was already really popular among the people there. Their store isn't the biggest, but a good size with some seating and tables inside. I saw a lot of students studying and doing work there, I don't blame them because I would probably do the same. I loved the 'vibes' of the place, lots of light and the vibrant colors of the walls and interior boosts your mood. Okay but the DRINKS??? WOW. I was surprised at how much I loved them. Now I've been here about 3 times now and so far I've tried their Vanilla Madagascar with oat milk and boba pearls. The flavor of their matcha is so smooth and paired with the vanilla made it sweet but not overly sweet, it was simply delicious. Their boba pearls are okay, nothing special about them. I've also had their regular matcha with oat milk, and that was really good too. So refreshing and clean tasting, I finished my drink within minutes. Amazing matcha drinks with a lot of unique and interesting flavors! It was the perfect refresher on a hot and humid east coast summer day. They have a ton of interesting blends like mango matcha, strawberry matcha, and strawberry chrysanthemum. The matcha flavor is very strong, but the sweet fruit flavors mixed in make it not too bitter. I personally got the mango matcha and really liked the fresh fruit bits. I also tried a bit of the strawberry chrysanthemum but thought it was a bit too floral for my liking. I'm looking forward to trying their milk teas/lattes next time. read more

Tried Matcha drinks for the first time. Had Cold straight up matcha with Boba and I liked it. I liked how I was asked how sweet I wanted my drink to be! My partner tried Mango Matcha Fresca which was okay. I didn't enjoy the fruity mish mash of tastes with Matcha. Today they had a an issue with their kiosks being offline and also their registers shutting down. So we were asked to place orders online. It was a hassle but nothing major. i go to junbi regularly, like at least 2-3 times a month, and i love it!! every drink ive tried is good, and i really like that theyre constantly adding new seasonal drinks. service is usually okay, the drinks come out quickly so no complaints there. most of the time i order through the kiosk. however, every time i go to junbi in the day to wfh or just chill, the music is reaaaally loud for a cafe where a lot of people come to study and do work. their playlists are consistently great but sometimes its so loud that i cant concentrate and its uncomfortable sitting near a speaker. i know this can be a matter of personal preference but every friend ive come with agrees that it's too loud at times. read more

They were both super good and not excessively sweet (you can adjust the sweetness level, too). The milk black tea has an authentic tea flavor. I only tried the peach lemonade matcha, but I wish I tried their soft serve and rice balls. I got a strawberry matcha and added regular milk, they do have other milk substitutes available as well. I also ordered a spam and egg rice ball.
