Got some breakfast here on a Thursday morning while driving from St Mary Village to Yellowstone. There were a few open tables and we could sit down where we liked. Ordered some coffee, orange juice and hot tea. The menu is pretty basic, mostly eggs with different meats, omelettes and pan cakes. We selected the bacon & eggs and the ham and cheese omelette. Food arrived after a short wait and it was great. Nice hash browns, eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and the toast was buttered. The omelette was thin and had plenty of cheese inside. The folks in the restaurant were very nice and we left satisfied and ready for the day. Restroom was also very clean. Can whole heartedly recommend this place. read more

Great little spot. Cool place with paintings all over. The sausage gravy and biscuits were as good as it gets and the omelet was, as well. Service was fantastic. You need stop by if you are headed to or leaving Glacier. read more

We stopped here on our way out of Glacier National Park. What a joy! Their special today was green chili stew and it was wonderful! It was served with Frybread. The Frybread is enough of a reason to return!! If we are ever in the area again, we'll be sure to stop by and if we have any friends that will be in the area, we'll let them know to stop here. read more

Stopped for lunch after a drive around Glacier Park. The menu is very simple, burgers, chicken strips, cold sandwiches and the like, but tasty enough. I had a cheeseburger and it was well cooked and flavorful, if nothing surprising. The decor is very small-town Montana, cozy and clean. Some pretty art decorates the walls and I would say it looks much nicer on the inside than the outside, which is rather beat up. The server was very nice and attentive. This is a nice little stop if you want some lunch that's nothing fancy but a step up from Taco John's. read more

I lunched at this nondescript cafe because I'd read they had fry bread hamburgers, but I almost didn't have one because I didn't notice until after I'd ordered that the fry bread is an extra-price option listed only on a sideboard above the drinks counter, not on the menu. If what I did have was the fry bread - it wasn't an ordinary hamburger bun, but I wasn't charged the extra price for it - it was greasier and less scrumptious than fry bread I've had elsewhere (eastern Oregon, Phoenix), but it was still a decent hamburger. We stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street and asked how the attached casino food was - but they suggested the Junction. Considering where we were - I am giving them 4 stars although they are more like 3.5. NOTE - this is based on other restaurants in Browning and other real small towns. The biggest downside is no credit cards. The place apparently is owned by Indians (Native Americans) and they were extremely friendly. The place has a Mom and Pop atmosphere but is comfortable. We had a turkey dinner and it was large but I found the turkey salty and they were out of Cranberry. The Chicken with Rice soup was good as was the baked potatoes. The apple pie was ok - off the shelf - as was the Lemon Meringue The outside doesn't look like a restaurant (my opinion) and you almost need to know where it is to find it - corner of Highways 2 and 89 - also has a unpaved parking lot. read more

Happened upon this local favorite-nothing fancy, just good honest food. I wanted breakfast, but it was too late. I had the Denver (omelet) sandwich and coffee. My husband had a cheeseburger and pronounced it good. The locals all seemed to be ordering the soup, which was beef barley. I'd return if I ever come through Browning again. read more

A good stop for a small town! While simple, it is clean and friendly. Our soda was a little flat, but our food was excellent. We both got the Junction Burger on fry bread with their house cut French fries. The fry bread for the bun was DELICIOUS. Really good food including the soup of the day and a bonus Indian Fry Bread that wasn't even on the menu. I tried the fishwich and the patty melt on sourdough bread. My brother ordered the chicken fried steak and he liked that too. Both times we ate there, three of us ate for under $20.00. I will eat there anytime I pass through Browning. read more

If I had to make a choice to eat anywhere in Browning, this is definitely my go-to place!! Lovely service, friendly atmosphere, you feel right at home, the food is absolutely delicious, not too expensive and it's overall an amazing place for a quick bite to eat. Downfall to here is that they don't stay open long enough!! I absolutely love their onion rings, they're the best I've eaten in all of Browning, but I just wish I could order them later in the day whenever I could. Definitely recommend, and their homemade fries taste way better than they do at most of the stands at Native American Indian Days, which shocks me. read more
