This was a horrible experience When we went there we only ordered two burgers it was 20 dollars AND a 40 minute wait.! And after 45 minutes they hadn't even put in the order! I refuse to go there again with how high these prices are and how horrible the customer service is. read more

Little Diner on the Prairie. The people working here are super nice. There are two dining areas and the bathrooms are downstairs. Everything seems to be clean and taken care of. My daughters told me the cheese burgers they had tasted better than Berger King burgers. My oldest daughter asked why I only gave this place 3 stars and not 4. To this, I would like to return again later and eat something besides a burger and if it's good, then the numbers will climb. As it currently stands, I will return for another meal. read more

When I was in Cut Bank, I ate at this cafe a couple times. The service was pretty good. I don't like having to ask for refills but I had to ask a few times. The lady was super nice though. The food was great and the price was right for what I ordered. The pies, even though they are homemade, were $4.75 a slice; which is a tad steep in my opinion. But the pies were great. All in all, when I'm in Cut Bank again, I will definitely be stopping by the Big Sky Cafe for some delicious grub. read more

My husband and I traveled through Cut Bank, Montana. Stayed the night, and came across this little cafe on Main St. The immediate atmosphere..... friendly and homey! The service by the owner was great! BUT, the food....FABULOUS!! Husband, "Best biscuits and gravy, ever!" I had the Farmers skillet, delicious! Large, hot servings. Its the 4th of July. Time for a "All American Diner Review" This is a nice diner. In fact, its a very large one, with two rooms, plenty of room for a large table party if needed, and there will be room for other diners as well. They have a traditional diner counter, which is great. The menu is not too large, which I always think is a good sign, they know what they want to make and make well. When I walked in, around 3 in the afternoon, the place was hoping. Some large parties, some small ones, but everyone was friendly. Very interesting. Breakfast all day, but in a surprise move, I had a sandwich. I know, not my usual thing. But I had a hankering for a grilled cheese, and that's what I ordered. It was quite tasty, came with chips. The pie case looked AWESOME. I did not have a piece, but I was the only one, I think many people go there for the pies. Someone there makes them, and its clear people like them a lot. 3 stars because I think they can be better with time. Make the place a little more welcoming, its plastic table tops could use a place-mat of some sort etc. I did chat with the server and found that the place is under new ownership, about 18 months or so I think she said. The owners used to have another place in town, same name, they moved it here when they were able to buy the space. This seems to be the only game in town, which hopefully will encourage them to be terrific, and not sit back because there is no competition. If you find yourself in Cut Bank, this is a good option if you are hungry. Happy 4th! read more

We visited Big Sky Cafe as part of a stop in Cut Bank on our way to Glacier National Park. It was one of the few non-franchise places in town where we could get a late dinner. The first thing we noticed when we got there was that our server was busily going back and forth from counter to kitchen to tables, clearly working hard to get things done. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was quite good, but the fries unfortunately were soggy. They advertised pies made from scratch in the window, so I ordered the banana cream. I was very pleased to see that it was made with thick slices of banana, even the custard tasted a little like banana as well. Overall we were happy to patronize this local business and would willingly do so again if we ever return to the area. read more

The best mushroom and swiss burger I've ever had. A cafe/diner burger actually cooked properly? A little pink in the middle? Yes! (I asked for it that way and actually got it that way). Amazing hand cut homemade fries without excessive salt? Yes to that too! Really good service? Check. I really enjoyed this place. I would go out of my way for this exact simple meal again. Disappointed. Reviews were good so we came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. Only one other table was seated. Ordered the hot beef sandwich which came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything came out cold. Sent back and meat came back got bit everything else was still cold. When I told the waitress, she blamed the new cook and said he tends to mess things up. Did not offer to reheat the vegetables. My friend's hamburger steak was hot but overcooked. Disappointed in overall sense of not caring about quality of what is served. Friendly and fast service. Decent food at decent prices. Parking can get a bit congested, especially in the evenings.
