For some reason, that didn't extend to prescriptions. Until now. SVRH is better in every single way than the soulless corporate pharmacy we used to go to. (I'm not going to name names, but it rhymes with DVS.) First and most importantly, they actually have the prescription drugs that my children need when they get very ill. In stock. Ready to roll, without a wait. I'm not sure how or why they have a better stock than a major corporation, but they do. Secondly, you get to talk to actual humans. Instead of pressing a bunch of numbers to try and get my problem solved when I call in, until I inevitably scream "REPRESENTATIVE!" at the phone, I called SVRH and an actual human being answered. And she answered my question quickly, without having to consult another human or put me on hold for 20 minutes until she came back with a non-answer. Thirdly, when you go in, you get to see and experience genuine human care. These are nice humans trying to get other humans the medicine they need, quickly and efficiently. I also love to see the Asian dude behind the counter throwing pounds to the black community patronizing this business. Yes, some people waiting were impatient and a little angry, but the staff (and there were plenty of people working) dealt with all of them well, and even with a bit of humor. If I can make it work, SVRH will get all of our prescription business from here on out. Plus, they sell lotto tickets, so they'll win that $1 million when I win the Powerball. Which is good for all of us.

They were supposed to deliver it and because they couldn't reach me in person for a six dollar copayment. (my prescription benefit was paying for The Bulk of the cost.), they failed to deliver the medicine this afternoon and now I am really sick. Also, they asked me for my phone number to verify it when I called, but they called my daughter instead who lives in another state to say that they couldn't process the payment. Really? They verified who I was my personal information including phone number and they verified my pharmacy information to make sure that I had it and they quoted me the six dollar copayment and they promised that they would deliver this today. I that I couldn't get over there. I told I had a UTI and I even told them I was leaving an envelope for the delivery taped to the door because I had to work. So after having an account there for years and always paying copayments and having a pharmacy insurance coverage that they verified, for $6 I couldn't get an antibiotic for a bad UTI, when they are being paid for the prescription through insurance.? why confirm my information when they don't call me for personally? why not call my daughter for the six dollars when they can't reach me? Instead, I am left hanging tonight. The worst part is I have some kind of a credit there that I always see on my receipt. Why not use the credit which I can never figure out how to use anyway?
