My son who serves in the military was moved in recently and when he came with his wife to move his belongings in there were roaches everywhere, the walls were stained yellow and greasy in the kitchen area, the carpet is folded over and not installed correctly, the dishwasher still had old rotting food from the last tenant, the refrigerator has roaches inside as well. So my son reached out to Lisa who is the leasing agent for those apartments to try and get this resolved, but this being a Friday, Lisa doesn't believe any of these things warrant any attention until Monday. So my advice to anyone reading this is to go elsewhere, it's not worth the trouble

Maintenance repairs were made but notification and receipts were never provided without constancy my pressure. I found out of so called repairs from seeing money missing from rent paid and it was rarely on the same day of the month. I was once charged $62 and when I called to ask why money was missing was provided a hand written receipt with not company name no longer item cost just the words light bulb replaced and outlet cover and $62 written a receipt that appeared to be out of a book purchased from Wal-Mart. When I asked for a paid receipt and company name. I got he same receipt with paid hand written to me and no response as to who provided service. Leaving this company was the best thing I did for peace of mind. Please do t risk their service. They are the absolute worst and they have no qualms in knowing that.

I just wanted to express my pleasure with living at Geary Estates the 13 months. This by far the…read moremost accommodating public housing that I have ever lived at. The complex is well maintained and has great amenities such as on sight storage and a nice pool. The cost of living is very reasonable (because the units aren't high end carpet, stove, etc.) and they offer a flexible array of living options. The convenience of its location sets it apart from other dwellings in the area (especially if you live on or around Fort Riley). But the biggest asset the complex has and the best part about living here is the fantastic staff that runs and maintains this property. They are the most accommodating and proactive group of people I have ever encountered at an apartment complex. None of the staff have ever been anything but polite and as helpful as they could when a problem or situation arises. They take care of maintenance and personal issues with haste, and most of all they are always welcoming with a sincere smile on their face. This kind of concern for residents is far and few between with housing of this size.
