Dogs unconditionally give us their all, even when we don't treat them as they deserve. We could learn a lot from them. They deserve to be treated like the family they are to us. At Punky's Canine Club (PCC), dogs can be on vacation while you're away. We allow dogs to be dogs, to roam freely, socialize and play under supervised conditions. At PCC, dogs are only crated by necessity. That does mean guests have to meet some simple requirements (listed on our website) so all can be safe and happy. PCC is also our home, so dogs are almost never left alone. If they must be due to necessity or emergency, they are crated and monitored by CCTV. This is a family business. We love and care for every dog in our care as if it were our own. We have leather furniture and large screen TV for the couch potatoes and plenty of toys and space for all. Every single time I tried to schedule a groom or boarding, there were issues. What should have been a simple process turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience with poor communication and no clear answers. To make things worse, after multiple attempts to get something scheduled, they claimed they "didn't like my tone" and refused to allow me to make a reservation at all. I've never experienced anything like that. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or help a customer, they chose to shut the door completely. Customer service is where they completely fall apart. Responses are slow, often rude or dismissive, and there's zero sense of urgency or accountability. It genuinely feels like they don't value their customers. At this point, it's hard to tell if they even care about having customers at all, let alone new ones. Do yourself a favor and avoid 2nd Family Dog at all costs. There are plenty of other businesses out there that will treat you with respect and actually make the process easy.

We leave them with the peace of mind that they will be treated as guests at the resort and not just as another boarding place. The staff is amazing, they are customer oriented, respectful with their guests and owners and overall, you can see and feel their goodwill and commitment to ensure our pets have the best experience. I have used the resort in the past with other dogs and the care they received was very good.This visit the dogs shared a large suite with a private doggy door that allowed them to come in/go out at will. I have always appreciated that the facility is very clean and organized.They had nails and baths before being picked up this morning. Special kudos as this visit covered New Years Eve, and the staff reached out to me that morning to ask if there would be any concern about fireworks and if my pups would get nervous/would need calming medication. My dogs don't react to fireworks, so nothing was needed, but I was impressed that the staff reached out to check. Concern for my pets' welfare was genuine, and they were very responsive to my emails while traveling to update me on progress. This was the first "resort" stary for my newest rescue pup and I was concerned how he might react. No need to fear. Both pups give it 4 paws up as a great place to stay when their mom has to go out of town. Very grateful to Pet Paradise for playing and caring for my pups.
