Aiming for the hole in one

We had the best time here my family and I did the mini golf of course and just had so much fun with the bonus challenges my favorite being the timed challenge adding a lot more skill to an already skill based game very fun! Ambiance was amazing so many zoo animals water falls and koi ponds and streams all around absolutely beautiful just to walk along the path I highly recommend!

Only way to describe this was meh. Course was uninteresting but and they try to make up for it by spinning a chart that will choose a fancy way of shooting the ball. I think my family and I would have had more fun if it didn't take us 30 min to get to hole 4. there were so many people that felt like we were standing on top of each other, we left after hole 10. But i will say the blue water made it seem whimsical so that's a plus

On vacation here in VA came here with the kiddies. They give you a free ticket when paying for parking. The course is small and kid friendly. It was kinda crowded and everyone wore mask. It is centrally located right off the strip so you really don't have to venture far. If you have kids this is an activity for you while in the area.

My 9th birthday party took place here. It was a surprise party that started at Cici's pizza. Basically a 90s kid dream of an afternoon. Jungle Golf is a VB institution. It's been there as long as I can remember and this past summer I visited again with some friends for the first time in a few years and it's still fun. A varied putt putt course, with fun surprise holes that lead to another green, and all sorts of fun safari/jungle animals to pose with. None of the holes are too hard, but they aren't so easy that it feels cheap either, like some putt putt can feel. They must keep good care of the course, because the sculpture animals look basically as good as they always have! The arcade games inside can be fun, too, if you're into that. Definitely a money suck, but my friends wanted to do ski ball and the grabber machines etc, so it was fun to revisit that stuff and feel like a kid again. Jungle Golf has gotta be my fave putt putt course in VB, and probably due to nostalgia, it might be my favorite anywhere?! Family friendly, fun date spot, or a place to go with friends when you just wanna mix it up and relive childhood. Recommend.

Great time was had by all! My wife, twin children and their friend all played the course together in about an hour and a half, but it felt like more in the best way. Even though we were managing three teenagers that started out annoyed by this activity, we end up all laughing and having a really fun time! The course is small, but in my opinion it made it that much easier to navigate, while still feeling like we got a lot for the money. We'd definitely come again!

Not a hater, just keeping it real. Jungle Golf is a beach landmark of sorts I get it. But has it kept up with the times, not so much. Location is one block off the oceanfront at Pacific. That's excellent for drawing a good crowd during the Summer. They have there own parking which is a huge bonus and it's free! This is where I parked and the lot was tidy. My family came for miniature golf. We walked through the arcade which was ok. For a younger crowd fine. They also have a concessions area. Restrooms are inside and I found the men's room clean with proper supplies. You pay to golf on street level in a kiosk. Since this took place in late Summer I forgot the fee, but it's not cheap. The animal theme is fun, however most things really show their age. Every hole was well maintained. I saw little debris any where. The course is not challenging for adults if you're wondering. I would return, but no hurry.

The biggest downside was the heat, especially upstairs in the laser tag area. It was uncomfortably hot and could definitely use better ventilation. The party room itself is on the smaller side and felt very cramped (only accommodates 12 bodies comfortably) and was warm too. The arcade noise carries in even with the door closed as the walls don't go up to the ceiling, but noise is expected in an arcade setting. That said, there were a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. The party room was decorated well, with detailed under the sea murals on the wall, and the place settings were surprisingly nice with sturdy glowing plastic plates, cups, and neatly arranged silverware that matched the neon and black-light theme. It made it feel more put-together than typical party setups. (Even though I decorated with my own decorations and partyware, as the birthday girl had a particular theme she wanted.)Our party attendant made it a point to check in to empty trash and make sure everything was going smoothly. One of the most appreciated features was that parents could watch the laser tag games from downstairs on the screens, and a few were even allowed to jump in and play with their kids at no extra charge, which was awesome. The kids absolutely loved the variety of arcade games and had a blast. Party pricing and packages were comparable to other venues, with three options to choose from, and we really liked being able to bring our own food and drinks. They were also very accommodating, since there wasn't a party before ours, they let us in early to decorate at no extra cost, and they didn't rush us out at the end, only asking for 30 minutes to reset the room for the next group. That flexibility made a huge difference, especially since we had the largest party package with multiple laser tag rounds plus arcade time, cake, and food. Parking was a bit tricky, but that was expected at the oceanfront (and we were glad it was the off-season). Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time and the birthday girl is already asking to have another party there, which says it all. A FUN venue with great staff and party flexibility, just be prepared for the heat, especially upstairs, the typical arcade noise (even in the party room) and the frustration of VB Oceanfront parking, as there isn't dedicated parking for the venue.

This is something that may be either an intentional or nonintentional system of skimming money from distracted and over stimulated parents. Several dollar games were over charging, and some other games were under charging. When I brought it to the attention of the owners I was told about how many tickets I had, this was not what I was asking about. I was asking about what was going on with their system to where the price advertised and the priced charged where not aligned. My suggestion if this is not intentional would be for the business to reconsider using the third-party card service. Sadly, the majority of parents that go here load a card and give it to a child, and let's face no kid no matter how smart is going to be able to do math in an arcade like Flippers. I'm not sure if this is just a weak spot in business management or a completely intentional action to exploit the American tourist. I had photos of the games over charging me and the man I spoke with was not addressing the issue. The American Arcade is a fading experience that many kids today won't get the luxury of experiencing it in all its glory. Encouraging those in the arcade business to consider protecting the traditional aesthetic of arcades through the of physical tickets and actual money.

I thought they could have done a little maintenance since it was closed down during the Covid-19 pandemic The person checking us in was not real friendly at all. It seemed like we were bothering her. Easy to check in. You pay. You get a coin. You go over to the ball machines. Put your coin in and you get whatever ball color you want. The staff gives you the clubs. The courses are pretty interesting. That part is great. Difficulty was pretty cool. Medium level. The courses were a bit dirty. Bits of debris could have been blown off with a leaf blower. The carpet on one course had a root stopping the ball from going through the hole. One course we lost our ball in the woods into a river (Hole 5) they should have a net to prevent this. So long story short. If they hired a new staff instead of that girl. Cleaned their courses. And did a little maintenance I will give it a 4 star. They had 36 holes but the girl said we could not do all of them at that time it was not available. I think we should have gotten a coupon for a return because we wanted to do all 36 holes. Prices for 36 was great but not for the 18 holes.

Unfortunately, we have been struggling financially the past couple years and it's just not something I could've done at regular price; they've been wanting to go for years. I checked multiple times to make sure it was correct so then I was concerned that my card was declining and called my bank right away. They said it definitely was not on my end. My card was fine so I Transferred the total amount of the sale price to both my cash app and Venmo cards trying both of them as well... It still would not go through. So I called motor world and they told me someone would get back to me which they never did. So then I wrote an email explaining the situation and how I'm not wanting anything crazy just the advertise price THEY emailed ME. Then they continue to tell me how they can can't help me and be sure to look out for more sales on social media. It was almost comical. If you reach out to customers with a promo code, And for whatever reason it's not working on the company's end... The price should still be honored. Not only that, but shoe rental and sock are free, (normally around $3.50 each). Since I didn't go in with intentions to bowl I didn't bring any, but was able to get a free pair since my cousins benefit applied to everyone in the party. The socks are actually cute (to me). It was very busy on a Friday evening and the crowd seemed to be teens and adults. Very few small kids. The servers come to the lanes to take orders, and the tablet at the bowling lane has a button to press for their help. Since it was taking long, we just ordered drinks from the bar nearby. The food, ordered later was simple, but good. -Sunset strawberry sangria is good, but could use more strawberry flavor. - Mozzarella sticks are no different then what you'd get at the grocery store and for the price the amount given isn't enough. - Wings, got a double order, 1/2 sweet chili, 1/2 garlic parmesan. I've often seen the latter on menus and steered clear because it didn't sound appealing. However, since it was ordered (for the group) I figured I'd give it a try. I am basing my review on the activities that me and my daughter experienced. There is lots of parking at the event and it is free.. which is great to see.... Walking in, we were shocked at how expensive everything was. You are literally spending $50+ per hour per person. We did the mini golf. The course was very small. 18 holes in the dark with glow in the dark balls. It started out great but when we reached around hole 6 a group of 12-15 teenagers came in and started speed running through the course.. they were hitting their balls all over the place. My daughter and I had to step aside for and let them speed their way through. After that there were a couple of older kids that were hitting their balls very hard and they were flying off the course.. one of those balls almost hit my daughter in the head.. they really need some supervision in the mini golf room. Otherwise somebody is going g to get seriously injured... Next we want to the arcade section. My daughter loved the VR experience items. But at $5+ dollars for 5 mins.... It adds up really fast. They have a little store where you can get prizes in exchange for tickets. But the big problem is that there are very few machines that actually give you tickets when you play them. There were a couple of claw machines that gave you a chance to win 100'or so tickets. But when you need thousands of tickets to buy anything.. you are literally spending a lot of money. Most of the machines were claw based machines where you could win a prize or the coin push machines which are hard to win anything out of. Overall, I was not a big fan of Apex. It is very expensive for what you get.. you can easily spend over $100 per hour in this place to try all the different things. Unless you have a big promo or coupon that gives you a huge discount.... It is not worth the money. The other big issue is that there is very little supervision of all the kids running around. Most of the staff look like they are high school students working a summer job. Like I mentioned earlier, my daughter almost getting hit in the head with a golf ball is unacceptable!!! Highly don't recommend coming here unless you can get a huge discount.
