Terrible. Super expensive, $15 per person. The holes were very boring, barely any holes with obstacles, most holes were just a straight shot. The holes were also not even numbered so it was very confusing. It is usually pretty crowded because it is one of the few mini golf courses around and for the majority of the holes you can't get around people if you wanted to get ahead. read more

On vacation here in VA came here with the kiddies. They give you a free ticket when paying for parking. The course is small and kid friendly. It was kinda crowded and everyone wore mask. It is centrally located right off the strip so you really don't have to venture far. If you have kids this is an activity for you while in the area. read more

Came back, and had a great time. What separates this business from others nearby is they have their own parking lot which is immediately convenient if you know Virginia Beach. Separately, the course is very well shaded making it far more pleasant to play in hot weather compared to nearby competitors. I also see that I complained in my last review that the course was too basic; parts of it still are and there are no moving obstacles. However they have put some fun interesting challenges for each player at about half of the holes which we felt enhance the gameplay and made it fun. I'm leaving it at three stars because I still think it is overpriced at $14 per person to play a mini golf game. read more

My 9th birthday party took place here. It was a surprise party that started at Cici's pizza. Basically a 90s kid dream of an afternoon. Jungle Golf is a VB institution. It's been there as long as I can remember and this past summer I visited again with some friends for the first time in a few years and it's still fun. A varied putt putt course, with fun surprise holes that lead to another green, and all sorts of fun safari/jungle animals to pose with. None of the holes are too hard, but they aren't so easy that it feels cheap either, like some putt putt can feel. They must keep good care of the course, because the sculpture animals look basically as good as they always have! The arcade games inside can be fun, too, if you're into that. Definitely a money suck, but my friends wanted to do ski ball and the grabber machines etc, so it was fun to revisit that stuff and feel like a kid again. Jungle Golf has gotta be my fave putt putt course in VB, and probably due to nostalgia, it might be my favorite anywhere?! Family friendly, fun date spot, or a place to go with friends when you just wanna mix it up and relive childhood. Recommend. read more

Prior to coming to this version of Jungle Golf, I had only been to one other mini golf course that had spinning wheels on certain holes where players could add different stipulations to the holes being played and that was that a Top Golf in suburban Chicago. The wheels are on about half of the holes and they add all kinds of crazy factors such as standing in the way of an opponents shot or needing to finish the hole in 10 seconds or getting an automatic hole in one. All 18 holes are Par 2. 13 bucks for adults isn't cheap, but I guess that's the oceanfront for you. But without many options in the Hampton Roads region, the safari theme is enjoyable for adults and kids, this is a good place to play. read more

Too bad I couldn't give a higher rating....My family enjoyed the golf (we had been there on our last visit to Virginia Beach) but we ended with the arcade (attached...you walk through the doors that say Jungle Golf) which was a disaster. None of the machines indicate the number of points or credits...You just insert your playing card and wonder how much is left. You can go to a machine to find balance but no way for kids to decide if the game is worth the cost....(lesson lost)...Each person that played had a balance but not enough to use on a game and you can't combine cards....At the end the grandkids tried to turn in their points for a prize but the dispensing machine wasn't working. I walked up a few steps to get assistance but was told that they have nothing to do with the arcade????? Nothing...you come through the door that says Jungle Golf...you can buy a card right there by the concession....The young lady said there was nothing she could do...we could TRY to come back,,, 6 Hour ride.to see if it would be working but she absolved all responsibility...said it was run by Southern Amusement.....I informed another family of the disappointment...witnessed 2 families leaving with kids crying.....the family said they lost money on a game...no one to assist...What a rip off.... read more

Jungle golf is my fav. There's no other mini golf place here that compares. I've been coming here ever since I was little. Like kindergarten little. I used to have my birthday party here every year! The course is challenging but also fun. It's nice that you can play as many times as you like and it's also great that they're open 24 hours a day. I bring all my friends here when they come to visit and always jump at any opportunity I can to come here. They have games on the inside, but I never play those. I just play putt putt. I usually avoid it during the summer though since it's so busy and I hate waiting behind crazy large groups of tourists. Off season is def best. Def recommend. read more

Great time was had by all! My wife, twin children and their friend all played the course together in about an hour and a half, but it felt like more in the best way. Even though we were managing three teenagers that started out annoyed by this activity, we end up all laughing and having a really fun time! Not a hater, just keeping it real. Jungle Golf is a beach landmark of sorts I get it. But has it kept up with the times, not so much. Location is one block off the oceanfront at Pacific. That's excellent for drawing a good crowd during the Summer. They have there own parking which is a huge bonus and it's free! This is where I parked and the lot was tidy. My family came for miniature golf. We walked through the arcade which was ok. For a younger crowd fine. They also have a concessions area. Restrooms are inside and I found the men's room clean with proper supplies. You pay to golf on street level in a kiosk. Since this took place in late Summer I forgot the fee, but it's not cheap. The animal theme is fun, however most things really show their age. Every hole was well maintained. I saw little debris any where. The course is not challenging for adults if you're wondering. We came tonight as a family of six to play a round of mini golf. The process of paying, getting your club, ball, and scoresheet was very easy. We made our way to our hole. Another family came right behind us and rushed us for 18 holes. Many things needed updating and replacing. Nothing too bad except for the lights out for about three or four holes. We could barely see our golf ball and the hole for those few holes. I guess it wouldn't matter during the day. The jungle themed animals were really cute and gives the place character. Jungle Golf is a National Treasure. Or at least a local treasure. Go here expecting some great cheesy moments and just have a good time with it. It isn't really updated, some of the stuff feels pretty worn down. However, for some reason that is part of the charm of it. You're playing put put just a few blocks from the ocean. Enjoy it! It is all outside, so don't expect this to be a rainy day kind of activity. Parking will cost you so come with cash ($12?), but you can get that removed from your put put purchase. There are 18 holes and none of them are super challenging. I'll admit to having to do the walk of shame when I lost my ball in the water a few years ago though. I'm not going to be quitting my job to become a put put pro anytime soon. They also have an arcade. I never saw anything that caught my eye and just walk on by. This isn't ever part of my experience here. Maybe if I had kids it would be different. I do wish that they could put the money into updating a few things, but it has always been clean and the staff has been pleasant each time I've visited. They aren't super attentive or overly friendly, but I'm not needing Disney level customer service at Jungle Golf. I haven't tried the food, because there are so many great options within walking distance that are more my style. If you want a super modern experience with cuisine and brews with your golf balls- Top Golf is at least 2x the price and 15 minutes down the interstate. If you just want a quick afternoon of fun, this is a great time! read more

This use to be our favorite place for mini golf until today. The woman's bathroom was beyond gross! Toilets were over flowing, trash can was over flowing. Some of the games did not work, there was no one down stairs working the game ticket area. We had to carry the stroller up the stairs as there is not handicap ramp. Staff behind the snack bar sitting. The man out side in ticket booth was working hard. There were a lot of drinks around the corse on the ground. Had a lot of mulch, leaves ext ext ext on the corse. We only went to the game room of Jungle Golf and this was the cleanest game room we have been to maybe ever. The games weren't very expensive and for such a small area there were a good amount of options. It also helped that the places was completely empty and we were the only players there. The only negative was we had to go in search of someone once it was time to cash out the tokens. The little one had a great time, which is all that mattered. read more

Definitely the best miniature golf in Virginia Beach. But that is easy when there are only two places. There is free parking for patrons (you pay upon entry but it is credited for a free game of golf). The course was very backed up with groups of golfers waiting, but from photo-ops of gorillas ready for a hug and giraffes standing twenty feet tall, the wait goes quickly. I think we played 18 holes within an hour. The holes are all very simple. Generally par two with a bump or single turn. The two difficult holes are where the course really backs up (10 and 18). The price is high at $11 for adults. But it was a family tradition to always play mini golf at the beach and this place was a suitable choice. read more

From the outside Jungle Golf looks very appealing and it does have a cute theme. The animals are large and well incorporated and they have waterfalls and volcanoes throughout. We pulled into the free parking lot and paid for our admission right there. I have to be honest that $13 for this course was way too high. I kind of regret doing it because it wasn't that fun and took only about 30 minutes (that's being generous). So for $26 for 2 people, I really don't think it was worth that price. It should probably be under $10. The attendants at the parking lot and hut where you get your club and balls were very friendly which definitely boosted the star rating. The arcade looked decent too, and the restrooms were clean. The course itself is so easy though that we breezed right through it. As other reviewers mentioned they are all mostly straight with maybe a bend or hill at the most. It got boring fast. I would skip this place and maybe try the one across the street instead. read more
