Raw vegan goodness! I was so happy to stumble upon this place after a negative experience at [a not very vegan-friendly] Joe's Diner. We were passing through the town, in hope to catch a quick lunch and be on our way. My meal was so unsatisfactory I decided to check out the juice bar afterwards I saw in passing earlier to help quench my remaining hunger. I was shocked! I expected it to be a Booster Juice knockoff, but to my surprise- it was a full on raw food restaurant! If only I had known before venturing in to that over-priced restaurant our group had agreed upon. FOOD: So good! I wanted to try everything on that menu. I tried the "Love Potion #1" smoothie, and I immediately wanted to try recreating it at home. It had a slight kick from the cayenne, and although the size was small- it was thick and hearty and filled my belly with love. 4-5 stars for sure. Next time I'm in Hope, I'll be back for a full meal! SERVICE: Awesome! The owner is so nice and friendly. Easy to talk to, and really is a poster for how the raw lifestyle just seems to radiate health. ATMOSPHERE: The place was a bit cluttered when I was in there, but it works. I appreciated that he had "The China Study" and other vital pro-vegan/raw books lying on tables for customers to read. Stopped in here on our way to a softball tournament. The lady here was so friendly and the smoothies we got were delicious. I got the Green Power, which had just the right amount of kale and ginger, not overpowering at all. My daughter got the Peaches & Cream. She absolutely loved it. My only recommendation? Make sure you get the larger size of smoothie, it is so tasty it is definitely worth it. read more

Just so annoyed with this place. We popped in for smoothies but the lady behind the counter was a trainwreck! 3 smoothies took her 40 minutes. I'm not exaggerating!! She was having heart palpitations because a group came in before us and ordered sandwiches AND smoothies. We asked her how long it would be before she took our money and she said "not long" .... this was a lie. Honestly, if two of them couldn't make sandwiches and smoothies they really shouldn't be in the kitchen! When we finally got our smoothies we were so underwhelmed. I would never go back! read more

We just love this place!!! We live in Alberta but Hope has always been a special place that we hold dear to our hearts. Every year we come to Hope to go camping, hiking and enjoy the great outdoors in nature. Jungle Juice is our favorite little place. They have Healthy and tasty drinks and food, And it's all plant based!! We first met the owner in 2012 I ordered hemp milk and my hubby ordered a smoothie and we got salads. We had a nice chat with her, she is very knowledgable and passionate about what she does. She is very inspiring and radiates true beauty and health. My boyfriend and I were on our way to Vancouver from Kelowna today, and realized the highway was closed so we had to turn around back to Hope. We were starving and google- mapped "vegan" not expecting to find anything. So glad this place came up! My boyfriend had the Jungle Burger, I had the Rocket Broccoli Salad. Did we ever get our fresh veggie fix! The flavours & textures were amazing, the living onion bread WAS delicious. We also tried the Merry Monkey smoothie, creamy and amazing. There food was extremely flavorful and fresh.... Not to mention vegan ;) We both had the veggie sandwich and ordered different smoothies, our taste buds we're in absolute heaven. This place is awesome! Has great service, great products when your feeling the need for something other than bacon.........is that just me? But anyway the prices were supremely fair for what they give you much more affordable then Booster juice and most other places for that matter. Staff is friendly. If it's busy you may have to wait a bit, but that's okay because they make everything properly and never cheap out. Whenever my body says "hey, go eat a freaking vegetable or fruit or something."
