    Chicken tender poutine
    Thu P.

A pretty standard poutine but not worth the price for me. I got the poutine with added chicken tenders. Flavour-wise it was good enough. Gravy was flavourful, cheese was pulling. Fries were just okay and they didn't give a lot of chicken for the price. A little too soggy, even for my soft mouth. Extremely filling though as it was so big! Service was pretty slow to start and I was the only person ordering. It's a food truck-like establishment but there are some seated tables outside. It was a nice area.

Open Friday through Sundays, we got lucky they were open when we visited Harrison Hot Springs. Hands down the best poutine we've ever had (so far) when visiting B.C., Canada. Better than any we've tried in Vancouver area. Super loaded with toppings, not too salty, and so many options to choose from! Only bumped it one star because of the price and because we prefer our fries a little bit on the crunchier side to make up for all the sauce on top. But definitely recommend!

Here at Harrison Hot Springs for a family reunion. Read about this place son I came to check it out. It's connected to the market across from the public mineral pools and is run by a man and woman that I assume are from Quebec based on their accents and the fact that they communicate with one another in French. Info: - Standard poutinerie that also sells Hot Dogs ($6 50). - You can order a small or a large poutine. I chose a small order of their traditional. It cames with a generous portion of cheese curds and gravy. The fries are seasoned. Almost had like a montreal smoke meat flavour to them. Overall the poutine was good. That's really all I can say about it. I wasn't disappointed and I wasn't blown away. Tue cost for a small was $10.50, which leads me to a final note.... This is a resort "town". You can't come here expecting prices to be cheap. Just like Whistler, you kind of have to come here planning to spend slightly more for things that would cost less closer to Vancouver. I'm saying this because the person ordering before me gave the workers a hard time about the price for the hot dog and I kind of felt bad for them. Yeah...$6.50 is a lot for a hot dog, but nobody is forcing you to buy it and you can definitely show more respect to the people working , especially in an area that must have taken a huge hit due to the pandemic.

    Mmmmmmmmm poutine

Delicious smoked meat sandwich. Fries were really good. Was the best of the three restaurants we tried in Harrison.

When I arrived, I did not had to wait for a table and was even offered to sit inside the restaurant or in the patio area. I ordered the Croque Madame with coffee. The coffee was pretty good and saw myself having a second cup. The croque madame was very piquant in taste. The cheese in the croque had nice consistency and eating it was a lot like having a monte Cristo. The hashbrowns were solid good. The service was very pleasant and were willing to serve breakfast past noon. The establishment looked really nice and I loved the traditional cabin appearance to it. Overall, the Corner café is a very excellent restaurant for both breakfast and lunch. I would like to come back there to eat again.

The bagel sandwich with smoked salmon was resfreshing and tasty with just the right amount of cucumber and onion to add some crunch. Also, the home fries were nicely salted and seasoned! It's a small-ish place so not great for a larger group but definitely would recommend if you're looking for a casual breakfast/brunch in town!

The interior of the business looked like it was a kitchen and bar from the mild lighting, the sophisticated décor and the spacious layout of the dining area. Even for a coffee house, they have a large selection of baked goods and sandwiches to choose from that you would take a moment to think about what you would order. I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Waffle Sandwich with the Cappuccino with oat milk. The sandwich was very good with the waffles being flavourful on their own. The Cappuccino was fantastic, tasting consistently palpable. I also had their Almondine Croissant, which I found fresh, crunchy and tasty overall. The service was pretty proficient as well, where they use a beeper system to call customers from their tables. Although, they do call your name sometimes too. This business is a hotspot for special events as well with a bulletin board in the back telling you what is happening. So, the Blue Moose Coffee House is a highly recommendable place to have breakfast, lunch, a take-out meal or just to socialize. I look forward to coming back to this place.

Cold in Every Possible Sense…read more My experience at Lakeside Restaurant was profoundly unpleasant, not because of a single mistake, but because of an overwhelming atmosphere of coldness--both literal and human. The dining area was uncomfortably cold, to the point where it detracted from any ability to relax or enjoy a meal. Patrons should not have to keep their coats on indoors to endure a restaurant experience. This alone signals a lack of basic consideration for customer comfort. More troubling, however, was the emotional temperature of the establishment. The service was distant, indifferent, and unwelcoming. There was no warmth, no attentiveness, and no sense that customers were valued. Interactions felt transactional at best and dismissive at worst. Hospitality is not merely about food; it is about atmosphere, care, and respect--none of which were present here. A restaurant situated by a lake should evoke comfort, warmth, and hospitality. Instead, Lakeside Restaurant felt sterile, uninviting, and inhospitable. I left feeling unwelcome and eager to be anywhere else. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming dining experience.
