    Chicken tender poutine
    Thu P.

A pretty standard poutine but not worth the price for me. I got the poutine with added chicken tenders. Flavour-wise it was good enough. Gravy was flavourful, cheese was pulling. Fries were just okay and they didn't give a lot of chicken for the price. A little too soggy, even for my soft mouth. Extremely filling though as it was so big! Service was pretty slow to start and I was the only person ordering. It's a food truck-like establishment but there are some seated tables outside. It was a nice area.

Traditional Poutine. Don't worry about the color of the fries, they're amazing! Please support this local place!!

Smoked meat sandwich was awesome! Generous portion, perfectly toasted bread and just the right amount of mustard!! Well done, Maison!!

Open Friday through Sundays, we got lucky they were open when we visited Harrison Hot Springs. Hands down the best poutine we've ever had (so far) when visiting B.C., Canada. Better than any we've tried in Vancouver area. Super loaded with toppings, not too salty, and so many options to choose from! Only bumped it one star because of the price and because we prefer our fries a little bit on the crunchier side to make up for all the sauce on top. But definitely recommend!

Here at Harrison Hot Springs for a family reunion. Read about this place son I came to check it out. It's connected to the market across from the public mineral pools and is run by a man and woman that I assume are from Quebec based on their accents and the fact that they communicate with one another in French. Info: - Standard poutinerie that also sells Hot Dogs ($6 50). - You can order a small or a large poutine. I chose a small order of their traditional. It cames with a generous portion of cheese curds and gravy. The fries are seasoned. Almost had like a montreal smoke meat flavour to them. Overall the poutine was good. That's really all I can say about it. I wasn't disappointed and I wasn't blown away. Tue cost for a small was $10.50, which leads me to a final note.... This is a resort "town". You can't come here expecting prices to be cheap. Just like Whistler, you kind of have to come here planning to spend slightly more for things that would cost less closer to Vancouver. I'm saying this because the person ordering before me gave the workers a hard time about the price for the hot dog and I kind of felt bad for them. Yeah...$6.50 is a lot for a hot dog, but nobody is forcing you to buy it and you can definitely show more respect to the people working , especially in an area that must have taken a huge hit due to the pandemic.

    Mmmmmmmmm poutine

Delicious smoked meat sandwich. Fries were really good. Was the best of the three restaurants we tried in Harrison.

The interior of the business looked like it was a kitchen and bar from the mild lighting, the sophisticated décor and the spacious layout of the dining area. Even for a coffee house, they have a large selection of baked goods and sandwiches to choose from that you would take a moment to think about what you would order. I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Waffle Sandwich with the Cappuccino with oat milk. The sandwich was very good with the waffles being flavourful on their own. The Cappuccino was fantastic, tasting consistently palpable. I also had their Almondine Croissant, which I found fresh, crunchy and tasty overall. The service was pretty proficient as well, where they use a beeper system to call customers from their tables. Although, they do call your name sometimes too. This business is a hotspot for special events as well with a bulletin board in the back telling you what is happening. So, the Blue Moose Coffee House is a highly recommendable place to have breakfast, lunch, a take-out meal or just to socialize. I look forward to coming back to this place.

All the premade food tastes & have the quality of a complimentary breakfast at a hotel. There are limited options & an omelette bar. Breakfast items quality is not the freshest & options of baked goods looked very unappetizing. We asked to be seated outside, & the view early that morning was gorgeous & peaceful. Our waitress was really sweet and patient. I'd say being outside in the sun & enjoying the view saves it. I didn't finish any of my plates & felt sick after. Right when I get to my room after breakfast, I had to puke. Was really hoping the breakfast was gonna elevate our hotel experience but did quite the opposite.

Cold in Every Possible Sense…read more My experience at Lakeside Restaurant was profoundly unpleasant, not because of a single mistake, but because of an overwhelming atmosphere of coldness--both literal and human. The dining area was uncomfortably cold, to the point where it detracted from any ability to relax or enjoy a meal. Patrons should not have to keep their coats on indoors to endure a restaurant experience. This alone signals a lack of basic consideration for customer comfort. More troubling, however, was the emotional temperature of the establishment. The service was distant, indifferent, and unwelcoming. There was no warmth, no attentiveness, and no sense that customers were valued. Interactions felt transactional at best and dismissive at worst. Hospitality is not merely about food; it is about atmosphere, care, and respect--none of which were present here. A restaurant situated by a lake should evoke comfort, warmth, and hospitality. Instead, Lakeside Restaurant felt sterile, uninviting, and inhospitable. I left feeling unwelcome and eager to be anywhere else. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming dining experience.

We were passing through the town, in hope to catch a quick lunch and be on our way. My meal was so unsatisfactory I decided to check out the juice bar afterwards I saw in passing earlier to help quench my remaining hunger. I was shocked! I expected it to be a Booster Juice knockoff, but to my surprise- it was a full on raw food restaurant! If only I had known before venturing in to that over-priced restaurant our group had agreed upon. FOOD: So good! I wanted to try everything on that menu. I tried the "Love Potion #1" smoothie, and I immediately wanted to try recreating it at home. It had a slight kick from the cayenne, and although the size was small- it was thick and hearty and filled my belly with love. 4-5 stars for sure. Next time I'm in Hope, I'll be back for a full meal! SERVICE: Awesome! The owner is so nice and friendly. Easy to talk to, and really is a poster for how the raw lifestyle just seems to radiate health. ATMOSPHERE: The place was a bit cluttered when I was in there, but it works. I appreciated that he had "The China Study" and other vital pro-vegan/raw books lying on tables for customers to read. Free WiFi too! If you're in Hope, don't settle for anything else! This place will leave you full and feeling great.
