I've gotten the same service if not best service at each one of these locations just one has less parking than the rest and if I could suggest two dishes that I always go in for specifically even if it's a bad day it cheers me up would be moonshine wings that are boneless and the salad that is got Mexican corn and stuff like that and it's so delicious and it can definitely last you two meals you have leftovers for sure. I have never been disappointed by the food or staff at Juniors in Guilderland they are great for lunch and dinner. If its too loud inside they have a covered and heated patio as an option that creates a great ambiance. The staff in knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend trying there wraps or mac and cheese. And it may be a sports bar but just like the old TGI Fridays that was down the road its a very good and safe place for family's even with small children or elderly that don't get around well. read more

BEWARE OF YOUR BILL... Food was good. Id give it 4 stars on that.. the restaurant was clean which I appreciate. However beware that if you are seated at a table with more than 6 people you will automatically be charged $11.50 for a staffing fee. I was mind blown by this, as we sat at two tables put together with my brother's family. (Each having separate bills) and we were not notified about this. We didn't notice until leaving and reviewing the receipt. This "fee" was charged to both our card and our brothers card. After we left a tip on top of this. After calling and speaking to a manager he told me he'd have it refunded to me, but still this feels very sneaky. We were not told about this. Also we were nickel and dimed for every little thing. I have been ordering Jrs for months, at least 4-5 times a week .. I have gluten allergy and have found that I can order a $6 Caesar salad which I add grilled chicken etc .always consistent except recently the salad was completely old dark green tops from the romaine all shredded up , chicken was barely grilled .. 2 nights lately everything perfect I spoke to the 2 pick girls as they know me . oh that should not be like that, well ordered tonight same terrible looking salad I showed the girl oh that should not look like that. Wife and I went here for brunch and football and had an absolute blast. The waitresses were handling lots of random problems with ease. We had a couple orders of the build your own mimosas and the juices and purees were amazing. I got the eggs in a basket and my wife has the chicken and waffles. We both raved about how good the sausage tasted and we of course had to take down some of the delicious buffalo chicken dip. This place used to be really good, they had $1 wings and Utica Club beer. They no longer have that deal or sell Utica Club beer so I see no other reason to return. This place was magnificent. For the prices, the food is delicious! I ordered the loaded mac&cheese, as well as the spinach&artichoke dip. The dip came with chips, as well as celery sticks and carrot sticks. Our server also asked if we wanted the dip to come out first, which was courteous. The loaded mac&cheese came with tater tots, scallions, a dollop of sour cream, and underneath all of that was some cheese baked directly on top of the macaroni. The food was incredible, to say the least. I took the leftover mac&cheese home because I had already eaten so much dip! The service was awesome, and everyone was so nice! Our server got my mother a refill of her drink without us having to ask. The ambiance was also good, with low, warm lighting and a comfortable booth. There were big screens, but the volume wasn't even on, so we just had chill Christmas music in the background instead of people screaming about football or commercials. The tables they sat us at felt like they weren't yet cleaned. Super sticky so points off for that . My margarita was solid so no complaints there. The chicken Ceaser wrap wasn't dry and pretty tasty. The fries at this place were a pleasant surprise. I recommend having them with whatever you order. My daughter said the Buffalo Mac and cheese was tasty and filling. Every time I go to the bar I'm rarely greeted and when I am I've been sitting there for at least 5 minutes. Today was no different, there was maybe a handful of people there. I was looking forward to ordering food and having a beer while I waited. As I'm waiting for service someone else walks in and is served before me, before I was ever acknowledged. The food there is excellent. I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant and I think that the price for the food is reasonable it's not too low it's not too high it's right where it should be. I believe for what they serve. The service is very good. They have a lot of different People there but the ones who waited on us have been very nice very friendly, very outgoing always attentive to our needs and what we're looking for so we've had no problems with getting our food or getting our service when we needed it. As far as the ambience, it was a clean atmosphere, and they do have a lot of TVs, but unfortunately the wave that it set up you don't have the ability to watch the TV in every seat that you are in you might have to turn your neck and look at the TV to see what in particular game or show that you wanna watch that playing at that time that's the only downside to that place and the only reason why it lost the star. Football Sunday funday!!! Party of 4 arrived around 1pm on a Sunday, bar was almost full. The bar area is very big. Decided to have the hostess seat us, which from mostly every table in the dining area you can see almost all of the TVs for game day. The waitress was nice, food was pub style and drinks were following only thing the Draft Beer selection could be beer. But all in all good meal and service. We have been anxiously waiting the opening of this restaurant since it was announced that Juniors would be moving in! Went second day of opening and everything was fantastic. No hiccups or opening week issues. We started with the garlic parm wings & my husband got an IPA. Service was great! We ordered a California Cobb Salad and Moonshine Pork Quesadilla as our entrees. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the winner of the night was the moonshine quesadilla - it's definitely a go to for our next visit!! No one has ever taught one of these bartenders to pour a proper Pint a Guinness. There is an exception to one female bartender who knows, but the rest of the bar staff think they are pouring a traditional draft. How it so hard for these bartenders to google a proper pour ?? Maybe no one has called anyone of them out, who knows. Please learn the difference quick as you are doing the public a disservice who consume Guinness as no one who may know what it truly should look or taste like is a pure shame. This is the third time I've been to the newest Junior's. I will say that had I reviewed my first two times, it would be the same. First, the food. The extensive array of offerings is the best part of the menu. The few items I've had in my visits, wings, burgers, power bowls are all average and nothing to write home about. The staff really need to shape up. Start with the hostess who seemed to be put out when we entered and asked for a table, what an effort it was for her. Our waitress who seemed to be new, which I don't fault her for, rarely came to check on us until the place was half empty. Lastly, the girl who brought the food just placed all the food on the table in the middle of the seven of us. Even when I said that the first two plates were for the two boys 8 and 6. She placed them in front of me. The juniors in troy is much better as in staff. Next football season I'll be going back to troy, if I can't find a different sports bar. read more

I was really excited when I heard Junior's was opening a location closer to me. I waited awhile after opening for the hype to wear off and give them time to work out the kinks. Its a good size and looks nice. We sat in what appeared to be a patio type area but was fully winterized and heated. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for but I remembered really liking the nachos the last time I went to the Albany location like a year ago. I think they must have changed it because the cheese was not as I remembered. I thought it used to be more of a beer cheese/nacho cheese. This was more of a chili cheese sauce. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't what I was in the mood for. The wings however were disappointing. They weren't super hot like when you get fresh fried wings. These tasted more like they were precooked and baked or reheated. Plus they were small and they gave me all flats. The menu is the same uninspired bar food that dominates this area unless you can execute it exceptionally well and they don't have anything that stands out. read more

When we got there we were asked if we had reservations and said no because you weren't doing it today even thou you were . Sauces that are supposed to come with appetizers are often missing, and if you order extra sauces; forget it- you won't receive them. Will I keep ordering from here? Likely so, as it's convenient. Below par food. My youngest ordered the High Five Mac and cheese, tasted like velveeta out of the box, disgusting. My oldest and I ordered All American Burger's, medium rare, we couldn't even get them into our mouths from the amount of grease! My stomach turned knots on the way home! My daughter had two bites of bread because the burger slid out both times, I had two bites with the burger and my stomach rolled for two hours. We ordered sweet potato fries with chicken tenders for appetizer and the fries tasted like nothing, no seasoning, the tenders were dry and not tenders more like nuggets. Don't recommend ever, but our wait staff still got a 25% tip because they didn't cook the food and were very respectful! Go to OTW instead, much better food! No grease! read more
