I've been here many times before, but this was hands down the worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time. For a party of two, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time we were seated until we left. Our waitress was great at first, but after our food came out, she disappeared and we rarely saw her again. The Southwest Egg Rolls are usually one of my favorites, but this time they were undercooked. The French onion soup was so heavily seasoned that it was difficult to eat. I also ordered the Nashville Chicken Wrap, but it was basically plain chicken and lettuce. It was missing the slaw and any of the Nashville flavor that the menu promised. And I also got a truffle Brie burger and loved the little blocks of cheese. I wasn't sure how I'd like Brie on my beef but the sweet dressing on the bun cut the forwardness the flavor. This is for a pick up order. We ordered three entrees and avocado fries. The fries were not in the bag so I called and had it refunded. A few month ago I ordered pad Thai while dining in and it was delicious so I ordered it again. It was inedible. Very salty and tasted like they poured lime juice over the top. Appetizer didn't come out, tacos were missing all the toppings and looked like they had been sitting under the warmer for a VERY long time. Loved this place and have been going for a long time. I rarely eat fries anymore, but when I did, I loved the fries at City line because they tasted like fresh cut homemade fries and tasted like potatoes and were delicious. Now, City Line just changed their fries to a more processed flavored type of "natural cut" fry that tastes like most fast food fries/chains who say they have "natural cut" fries. While traveling for work, I googled best restaurants near me and this spot came up. Pulling up, I was impressed with the ample parking lot space and the cool design of the building. At 3 pm on a Wednesday I was surprised that the place was packed! I was promptly seated and had a great hostess who was vey attentive. There is exposed brick throughout, plenty of booths, and great music (super hip!) While people watching, I loved how the vibe of the place fit all sorts of groups from family friendly with toddlers to business people in suits. All the food being served around me looked amazing - when my beet bowl came I was happy to see such a heaping portion of toppings! So often when I go places and order a beet salad there's barely any goat cheese or beats. This place absolutely nailed it! Our second visit to City Line was as satisfying as our first. We ate on the spacious deck in the summer, but on a cold New Year's Day brunch outing, the enormous dining room was the only choice. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Drink orders were taken and our drinks arrived in short order. They were excellent. Our meal orders were delivered promptly and everyone enjoyed their choices which were, steak and eggs, mac and cheese, a breakfast chimichanga, and the classic breakfast. The classic was 3 scrambled eggs, an English muffin, a lot of bacon, and a generous portion of tater tots. The prices were user friendly, and we skated with a hundred and twenty-five dollar check, including tip. I now can recommend City Line for both a Saturday dinner and their Sunday Brunch. Go! This is a general review for ALL deliveries that just happened to be sparked by our order today from City Line. Today we ordered only two dinners from City Line through Grub Hub and the order arrived with only one dinner but both dinners marked on the receipt and the bag stapled shut. With the bag stapled shut, the driver could not have taken or dropped anything from the bag so it could only be the restaurant forgetting one of the two dinners. Like I said at the beginning, this is a "general review". I say that because something is forgotten from our order (and I am not exaggerating!) a good 85% of the time!! It doesn't matter what the restaurant is or the delivery service, we actually get what we ordered one out of every 5 or 6 orders!! This happens to the point of Door Dash marking us as "habitual complainers" due to some algorithm that they have on the reviews, when we have never been anythung but completely honest. I am just really tired of it. The note at the beginning of this review tells the reviewer to take COVID into account. We have all been experiencing dealing with COVID for over 4 years now, so that is no excuse. It is just really sad the amount of pride people take in their work. Maybe they don't like their job and packing our food just seems unimportant to them or something? I don't know, but it is important to us or whoever is receiving it! The bottom line is that no one takes pride in their work anymore! As for our order from City Line today, we got reimbursed for only the price of the dinner, no fees or any of the other charges. When we went to just reorder the missing dinner again, it said that City Line was closed (I'm assuming because there were no drivers available on Grub Hub). So we ended up ordering a different dinner from a completely different restaurant and will be paying all the fees and charges again as well, if we get anything delivered at all. Our wings came in a dish of orange juice, the salads came out minutes after the app. The server didnt seem to be enjoying his job one bit.
