    Lunch- full size PHILLY CHEESESTEAK

Everything has changed but not for the good. Don't see the regular customers coming in and miss the prior bartenders (especially Bianca). It use to have a "cheers" atmosphere where we all knew each other and lots of banter and chat. The lunch menu absolutely sucks! Can't even get a pizza and barely any appetizer choices. Full size Philly steak with 50% less meat. (Where's the beef lol) We've been regulars here for many years but sadly this will be our very last visit

Service was great. Bathrooms clean. Food mid, but well priced. I thought my sandwich needed more seasoning and it wasn't spicy at all - but still not bad just not the best. My friend liked her nachos and my other friend liked her chicken BLT.

One of the top patios in the area! Regular and high top tables along with fire pit tables. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries off the regular menu. My husband had a Philly steak and cheese with cheez whiz. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Will definitely return!

Much improvement since my last review. We had an amazing waitress tonight. We had lost our power and wanted to hang out until it came back on. She didn't make us feel rushed at all and was very personable. We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere inside the big club/dance floor area.

Came here on a Sunday with a group of six. The place was empty, so we were able to be seated right away. I got the Chicken and Waffles. The chickens were fried a little too long, but overall it was a good brunch item. No real complaints with the service. We were checked up upon every now and then, refilled some of our drinks, and got our check seamlessly. I guess because they were having a slow morning.

We went to get something to eat after the big storm last month. We were able to eat outside. We were disappointed that they don't have the brunch menu anymore but there was still plenty to choose from. We were there around 11:30 but they had already run out of the soup of the day. We ordered a few things to share. The General Tao's cauliflower and broccoli was amazing. I will order that every time. We also had a wedge salad that was delicious. The food was well prepared and the seating was very safe for COVID.

I ordered pick up for a friend and I. The process was easy, masks worn, no problems. The place was super crowded for the patio so get there early if you want in! There was a long line wait by 4:45. They have a fabulous patio. I saw that they took over some recipes from The Bull and Barrel and I LOVED their chicken wings prior to them going out of business a year or two back. I was super excited to have them again. They were 100% spot on and so delicious. I got them in a medium buffalo sauce and I would definitely recommend. They got slightly less crisp in transport but survived pretty well. They were super meaty, moist and smokey. Also, the smokey blue cheese was incredible. Definitely took them up a notch. These wings are top notch contenders in my book. Their fries were also pretty fantastic and stayed ultra crisp the whole time. So good, they them out!

With my wife having a craving for some pizza, and both of us agreeing that we didn't want to drive very far from home, she asked if the Philly Bar served pizza and I recalled having some there several years ago. Double checking their web page I was reminded that they cooked their pizzas in a coal fired oven. It had been a couple of years since I last tried their pizza, I seemed to recall that I enjoyed it, but my wife wasn't with me on that occasion. She had never had a coal fired pizza, so our minds were made up. Starting off with pints of DuClaw's Dirty Little Freak (a coconut, caramel, chocolate, brown ale) ($6.50) and Philly Constitutional Brown Ale (possibly brewed offsite for the Philly Bar) ($6), we ordered apps of Cauliflower Pakora ($11) and Brisket Bao Buns ($9). The Cauliflower was served with a side of very good and chunky house made blue cheese dressing and even though the battered coating on the florets was lighter than what you would get in an Indian restaurant, the flavor was augmented by their medium Buffalo sauce. They were quite tasty and enjoyable. The Bao Buns looked like what you might expect in an Asian restaurant, but the buns themselves were not as light and airy as you would have hoped for. But the filling of brisket, pickled onion, and a soy sauce was tasty. For our pizza we chose the BBQ Pork ($14). Topped with smoked pulled pork, BBQ sauce, red onion, cherry peppers, smoked mozzarella, fresh cilantro sprigs, this had a lot of good flavor. The crust is thin, with the hot coals allowing for some nice bubbled up char near the edges. The bottom is firm and just short of being crispy. I took a couple of slices home to have the next day and was impressed with how good they were when I reheated them with my favorite technique. With my induction stovetop and a non-stick fry pan, I place the room-temperature slices directly in the pan with no oil on a medium heat. I partially cover the pan to hold some more heat in and in about five to ten minutes they come out fully heated through with a remarkably crispy bottom. This takes some practice, but I like it better than reheating in the oven or the microwave. Service was friendly and efficient. With a very extensive draft beer list, they retain that 4th star. With few people in the dining area on a Tuesday night, it was quite cool inside. Be prepared to wear a sweater or as Joe Cocker might say, leave your hat on!

A huge question mark for Philly Bar and Grill. I don't know what we got ourselves into when my friend Taz H.'s sister dragged a group of us here. I'm not entirely sure how to describe this place, because from the outside it was a smidge of class with beautifully elongated fire pits and a nice full bar. Inside, it was a nightclub scene on one side and the other side was an overly crowded dive bar. I've not been to a place where you could actually be in 3 different room and they all have extremely different vibe under one roof. It was a very strange experience. Overall Service: I think the bartenders were as expected, lacked personalities and was just pushing drinks out to get people drunk. And DJ Iroc they booked for the night was slumming, I've never heard a DJ ask for tip money in order to request a song. This place, never again.

Food we had was great. Mexican street corn and cheese pizza but the mixed drinks were horrible. All mixed. We had a long island iced tea and margarita. Stop for the food. But have a beer. Nice place.

It's fine, it's pub grub. Service is adequate. It's a sports bar so it's a lively crowd. Not special, ok in a pinch

I absolutely think this place is great!…read more I was introduced to Fallside through a Yelp Event earlier this year. I talked about it so much at work my friends begged to go. We met up for 50 cent wings on Sunday. Yeah, that's right, what is this 2006? 50 cent wings, and they are no joke! Big plump and juicy wings cooked perfectly crispy and generously tossed in sauce with was was described as house-made ranch or blue cheese dressing? My friends really enjoyed them. I had the fried vegetable gyoza and I can't say I've ever had them deep fried before, more like steamed or pan-fried, but this was a game changer! I was really looking forward to the Imposter cheezy jalapeno bites but our server informed us they were out. I love that they have several vegan options on the menu. At the Yelp Event we were fortunate enough to try the vegan pizza and it was honestly one of the best vegan pizzas around the Capital Region. They use Imposter plant-based cheese which is a local product made by a small business in Troy. I love that small businesses are supporting each other like this. The beer is excellent too, we were looking forward to having the red ale since I spoke so fondly of it but it was tapped out. I had a really good mango IPA which hazy doesn't even begin to describe! It's really nice inside and on Sunday it had just become warm enough by mid afternoon, they opened the big garage door and let some fresh air in which was no nice after such a long winter. I think I can speak for my coworkers and I that we will be coming back again soon so please keep those vegan options stocked up!

I was disappointed that I could not attend Yelp Albany's recent event at Bye-I-now-Fallside Brewery…read morea few weeks ago. So the next time I scheduled a brewery crawl in the area, I made sure to come here. I submitted a business page update regarding the rebranding, but at this point, I don't know whether Yelp will simply rename the existing page or create a new one for Fallside. For the time being, my update goes under Bye-I. The new space is great. I had no idea how much bigger it was until I walked a ways inside, and I was equally impressed by the cool artwork. The beer is, of course, as tasty as before. We seated ourselves in the back to enjoy our pours, and within a couple of minutes, a server dropped off food menus and attended to us the rest of the evening. Had I read my recently obtained copy of the March-April copy of local "True Brew," I would have known that several of their dishes were featured in it, specifically their beef stew and mac & cheese. But I had the Chicken Caprese sandwich, which came with steak fries perfectly cooked and obviously cut in their own kitchen. We were checked on frequently, and as we were finishing up, their Friday evening music session was starting. Food and drink here are reasonably priced, and I feel the quality of both were just as good, or perhaps better, than what you get at "those larger breweries" along Broadway. Of course I'll still patronize them all, but for me, Fallside has the edge in this part of town right now.

The Hostess was SUPER friendly and she never stopped working - cleaning tables and checking with guests to be sure everything was satisfactory. The waiter, Gregg, was very attentive and friendly. My wife ordered "street tacos" and they were great. stuffed with wonderful ingredients - including shrimp. This trip as a perfect experience and we shall return. (sorry the pasta photo is not great. It looked so good I ate quite a bit before I remembered to take a photo)

For context, I rate products and businesses on a simple scale: 5 stars means I love it, 4 stars…read moremeans I like it, 3 stars is okay, 2 stars means I didn't like it, and 1 star means I hated it or think it's unsafe. I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars
