Although they moved from their old location on Mcguiness. I walk by daily and this is the same owner, but at a new location. These guys are criminals, liars. and Junior Suave Sanchez is no Pulaski. My wife our car in for inspection at their old location on Mcguiness Blvd. They told me I needed new brakes and rotors, and to affirm it they showed me and her how dirty they were.. I am well versed in minor auto repairs , and know Dirty brakes are completely normal, so I went to another repair shop down the street, no brakes needed and the car passed inspection. No needless $$$repairs. DONT GO HERE, they fleece the vulnerable. read more

My very first interaction with Junior's; my car had a simple issue on my way to work and I saw the shop, Pedro took care of it and sent me on my way without charge. I kept that in mind so when my car needed service I went back for oil and inspection great friendly service in and out. Then I went for an exhaust, The price was more than reasonable (meaning Junior didn't try to charge for more than he did as others attempt to do). Another time my front axle broke, and again I made it to junior's. Same day I dropped off the car picked it up after work, Price was great car rode beautifully. One very important aspect about an auto mechanic/technician; Their work is neat and complete AND there aren't "new" problems when they return the car. I've been bringing my car(s) to Junior since 2000. He has always been fair and works with integrity. When he or his crew fix something it's no longer a problem. I've been going to Junior for about 8 years. He's kept my 2004 Jeep Liberty on the road and healthy during all of that time. He's always been honest and helpful, and on numerous occasions he's gone out of his way to help me or arrange for a pickup or drop off around my schedule. The pricing has always been fair, and I have a working knowledge of what the repairs on a vehicle like mine are meant to cost. In my opinion, it's worthwhile to build a relationship with a mechanic that you trust. It also goes a long way to tip the people who do a great job on your car, they'll look out for you and your car. If you're going to Juniors, or any mechanic, do a little bit of research, ask questions, and if you aren't comfortable go elsewhere...but this shop does quality work, at a fair price, in a reasonable time frame. Empty car lots of car mechanic driveways mean the mechanic is either overpriced or bad, this is NOT the case with Junior Pulaski. He is always busy, cars are coming in and out but surprisingly enough he will always have time for you. Never had to wait long, just came back from an oil change which took less than 20 min, he even checked my car's fluids, added air to my wheels and did a general inspection. I am very happy with his services and definitely Prices! Other guys in the area charge much more. Best yet, he is even open on saturdays! read more

LIED ABOUT FAILING INSPECTION Brought my car for inspection. Told me I had a check engine light on and that I failed on the computer for o2 sensors which would be ~$500. Light was not on when I dropped off the car so I told him to not do work I'd drive it around to reset the sensors and get a second opinion. When I got there I asked for a fail sticker so that I wouldn't get a ticket while I went through the process of driving it around to get the sensors to reset and another worker at the shop told me he had not actually run the test, the light was on from the start so I couldn't get the fail without them running the test. Wasn't buying it so I got my keys started the car, no check engine light. Drove it to reset the sensor just to be 100% sure, still no check engine light after 50+ miles, then brought it down the street and they looked it over, put it on their machine and it passed no problem. read more

I have used Junior for at least 6 years. I never had a problem. Car was always fixed same day, he has OFTEN said to me when I questioned do I need this should I get that, brakes, alignment, hoses, belts, tires etc... No you dont need that... I find him very fair. I have received a state inspection there at least 6 times and at least 4 of those times without needing anything for the car to pass. This is usually an obvious tell of a sleazy mechanic. You bring your car in for inspection and he give you a list of things you need done for the car to pass. That has never happened to me here. The only gripe I have is the price of parts. They seem to be atleast 50% more than what I find them to be selling for online. Although people have told me that is standard when you take your car to a mechanic. Junior has always been a gentleman and has answered my car questions sufficiently. read more

i cant believe im the first reviewer. ive been going to Junior all these years and all my friends who i send to him have positive experiences. Hes a total sweetheart and a workaholic. his lot is full of clients he is busy busy busy but he deals with me rolling up on a moments notice. He fixes on schedule but keeps my car extra if i cant pick it up. he waits up if im running late after closing. when i bring in my car he stops what he is doing to talk to me and listens. i trust him to do his work at a fair price and hes never betrayed my trust. hes even sent me away without a bill when i thought something was wrong and there wasnt. what more can you ask for in a mechanic? read more

After driving a used car I bought two years ago I finally hit 140k miles on it. Then my engine went out on me completely. Dealer wanted over $5k to get me back on the road Junior was able to get me back on the road for significantly less and only took 5 business days to get my car back to running like new. Unbelivable. Took our car for inspection and was told it would be about an hour. After waiting an hour and a half, we came back and were told that they hadn't done anything and that we would have to come back during the week. When we asked why he didn't call us to let us know, even though he'd said earlier he would call if there were any issues, he just started laughing. Total BS. read more

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible experience. That shop said my car needed a new oil pan because I bottomed out and broke it. 800$ later after a long drive it was towed to a shop in PA only to find out it was my same pan with a shoddy weld and spray paint. Avoid these guys, horrible shop. read more

I took my lightly used car to these guys 4 or so times. Inspection, oil change, etc. Until I got skeeved out by them. Turned out I was right. I took my car to them because the check engine light was on. Junior told me that I needed a new TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and that it would cost $600.00. That was roughly 18 months ago. I just took it into my new and wonderful and trustworthy mechanic because I was having throttle issues. Turns out, I needed a new TPS because the one that I have (the one that Junior put in) is a cheap after-market part. My new mechanic put in a new factory part and charged me $250 for parts and labor. DO NOT GO TO JUNIOR'S PULASKI AUTO. The guy is a rip-off artist looking to make a buck off you any way that he can. read more

i have taken my truck in work a few times to Juniors. the hourly rate is very reasonable and the staff is courteous and well informed . i usually bring my own parts but when i forget something they just ad it to the bill. they don't have a waiting room or a comfy couch if your going to wait for your car , most of the work they do looks to be commercial so its pretty no frills, not a big deal for me. i will be working with them in the future. read more
