Beautiful truck, nice representatives, great price, fast service. What's not to love?

I wanted to fully re-do my lawns and so rented a sod cutter to slice out the top couple inches. Then I realized, crud, what am I going to do with all this? The Junk King guys came out the next day (saturday), gave me a quote and showed up the next monday to do the job. This was about 10 cubic yards of dirt that was still laying on my lawns where I'd cut it, and the guys busted ass to get it loaded and hauled. Highly recommend. They came in last week and gave me a free estimate. Prices are competitive. Booking was very easy, they were always right on time, communicating with me the whole time. When I schedule the job, the came in and rolled with the changes as we were making real time decisions about more than half of the stuff they picked up. They helped move other stuff out of the way, unplugged & unscrewed things, and picked up all of the decisions as we made them. Setup a time online for a pickup of some old mattresses and a treadmill for an 8 am - 10 am window. I got the call at 8:05 am to say they were on their way and were 20 minutes out. They hit my drive way at 8:25, exactly when they said they would. Both guys introduced themselves, I showed them the junk and it was out the door in a couple of minutes. They were clean, polite yet funny, they were careful not to damage the other junk I have, and everything went smooth and easy. I can't think of a way the service could have been better. I did find it difficult to find online what payment types they accept, once on site they let me know they take all credit cards, cash and checks. Total price was about half of what I would have paid to rent a truck and haul the junk to the dump myself. I am sure that I will use them again. read more

Booked them late on a Friday night for first thing Saturday morning. Got a confirmation by email and then a call first thing Saturday morning that they were on their way and 30 minutes out. They were on time (early in their 2 hour window too!), friendly, clean and they were careful with my walls as they hauled out my old furniture. I live up a flight of stairs so it's no picnic to get stuff out of my house, but they did it quickly, efficiently and were funny and personable. I'd definitely use them again. Called this business to arrange for king-sized mattress and box spring, office chair, and 2 tires to be hauled away. Also wanted a price quote. When I spoke to the man on the phone, he asked what my zip code was. At first I didn't hear him, so I said, "sorry." Then, I realized what he had asked, so I answered. Then, in an incredibly arrogant, dismissive, and smug tone, the man says, "Oh... so you did hear me." What? Is this the standard for how to treat potential customers now? Is this indicative of how this business is generally run, of how they generally relate to customers, and of the quality of service they provide? Finally, the quote was for over $300. No, thanks! They also will come out during the appointment for free to give you the price for your job. I have used them twice now and I had the same 5-star experience each time. This last time I had to move the appointment and wanted to confirm it outside of the online system so I requested someone contact me, they initially sent email and then also called me directly to reschedule... I had a massively oversized sectional I needed to get rid of before the new one arrived. I scheduled the junk king to come move it the day before my appointment. They called 30 minutes before arrival, and actually arrived exactly in 30 minutes. Even though 3 guys showed, removing the monstrosity was still a challenge. The guys were all very friendly with a positive attitude the whole time. They ended up having to break a section before they could get it out the door. It made a decent mess, but they didn't hesitate to clean everything up before they left. The door frame got a little scratched up, so they offered a discount for the inconvenience.
