This is my second time using Junk King and they always do such a phenomenal job. The house I am in has a lot of stuff. Something you'd see in the hoarder show. The first time we had a crew of 4 working in the backyard. 1 person I remember, was Morgan. He is funny and very personable. They not only haul your junk, they'd also rake up and clean up the mess on your floor. The second time, Morgan came again and this time with his partner, Michael. They alone handled the inside of my house. It was less than the backyard, but I promise you, it was not an easy job by any means. They hauled away mattresses, desks, chairs, and big old 90's TV's. They even cleaned through rats nests. If you're in a hoarder house, you need someone like them. After they were done, they asked for us to do one last walkthrough to check for anything else to clean up. Despite us originally declining, they insisted for us to find anything left for them to clean. I would call them again to finish anything I have left. This is by far the best clean up crew that can finish it all in 1 day, that if I had to do myself, would have taken a year. I recommend this company! Whatever mess you have, dirty or a ton of stuff, they do it all. The only mess that they don't do, is chemical liquids. They also donate items they find. They're great when you simply don't have the time or energy to handle hauling stuff to the dump.. but the price tag hurts... it's not Junk King in particular; they were in line with quotes from other junk haulers.. They were fast, cooperative, and friendly. They quoted me a range and then charged me for the top end of the range, which kind of stunk, but at the end of the day.. I wasn't going to do it myself. We had to have a basketball hoop assembly removed that had been installed with bolts to a concrete base. It was on the property of a new home we'd just purchased. The scheduling was easy and the guys did a great job - quick and easy. It only cost us $128.00 which was well worth it considering that it was broken and could have presented a hazard. The only improvement I would suggest would be in the scheduling. Our window was 10am to noon but they weren't able to get here until after 2pm. read more

I ordered a Junk King Dumpster Bag on May 8th. the Junk King website states that customers can expect to receive the bag within 4 working days, so when the bag still had not arrived by May 18th, I contacted their customer service team via text. I was told that the supervisor was looking into it for me. I contacted them again on the 19th and was told they were "still pending on an eta." It's now the 21st and i have heard nothing from them. The package seems to be moving now, but my demo job is seriously delayed and this company doesn't seem to have any concern about keeping their customers updated when there's an issue. I am very hesitant to fill the bag and continue working with this company; if there's an issue with scheduling pickup I have a feeling it will never be resolved. read more

I booked a pick-up of a treadmill online. The pricing estimator gave a range of $98-128 for the removal of the one item. I also sent pics of the treadmill and advised there were stairs. The 2-man crew arrived and first couldn't figure out how to fold the treadmill, lock it and then unlock it, then the crew said they didn't think it would go through the doorway (it was brought in through the doorway), then they wanted to borrow my tools to maybe take it apart and then said they would do that for $340, but even if I took it apart instead, they would still charge me no less than $280 because of the size of truck they use - for one item. It seems like a bait and switch. The cost given to me after 40 minutes of excuses was quite a bit more than the estimate online. Needless to say the treadmill is still in my house. read more

I recently got a new mattress and spent about a week trying to find someone/company to haul away my old mattress (which it's still in good condition imo) and to my luck I couldn't find somewhere to recycle it because I'd hate to see it go into landfill. So here you are wondering about my experience with Junk King instead of me going on about finding someone so I'll cut to the chase... I used the option button to "request a quote from other companies" and got a variety of quotes ranging from $110-$150 and some with a minimum of $120 to haul away. Except for Junk King. I got a fair quote of $88 to remove my queen size mattress. I had to re schedule the time of day to pick up but they were amazingly understanding. They were on time, professional & had no hassle.
