Had a great experience with Junk World for moving out of my condo. I had a king size mattress/frame, sofa, kitchen stuff, a few desks, and a garage full of bags/boxes, with most of the heavier furniture located upstairs. Bill was very communicative via Yelp messaging and text. He provided an initial estimate ballpark, but wanted to see the unit in person before providing a final quote. The final quote was quite a bit higher than the initial estimate, but Bill and his team specifically asked which items I'd set aside for Goodwill and recycling. In the end, I decided to go with Junk World because I felt they would take the extra time to try to keep some of the items out of the landfill, whereas I got much cheaper quotes from other places that would haul everything straight to the trash. A large bbq grill breaks down and knowing that you need to get rid of it before purchasing a new one is not as easy as putting it in your trashcan. Without having your own truck you need to find some assistance, and most Junk companies are tough to deal with. Usually, it starts by them asking a number of questions, how many items, how large are the items... etc and then they quote you some arbitrary number and a week eta. BUT The team at Junk World made life SUPER easy. Within 15 mins of requesting assistance, Bill reached out to me and gave me a quote and said he could be there in 45 mins... I was shocked at how easy that was. The team got to my house and loaded the bbq onto the truck (made zero mess in my house) within 5 minutes.
