I think I might just have a new favorite on the Butler County Donut Trail. Jupiter Coffee & Donuts is a standalone shop basically right across the street from Jungle Jim's - so they'd make the perfect breakfast stop if we were ever motivated to get up and go grocery shopping early enough! The interior is cute, and they have a good selection of both donuts and coffee/lattes. My husband picked a triangular fried danish filled with cream cheese. It was really tasty - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with an adequate amount of cream cheese. I'm a sucker for a jelly donut, so I went for the raspberry jelly, which was really good - soft but not too soft with a good amount of jelly. The staff was really helpful. We paid $2.70 for our two donuts, which is a little pricier than some of the other places we've been, but we did get specialty donuts. read more

I had a red storm (raspberry filling with cream cheese icing) as part of my BC Donut Trail tour. It had a cute swirl of raspberry jelly on top, but the looks were probably the best part. The donut itself tasted a little underdone and didn't have the right crunch to the exterior. Raspberry filling was too sweet and didn't have the tartness you'd expect from raspberry "designer" donut filling. Still, I would return and give them a second shot if I was in the area. read more

Took part in the Butler County donut trail. If you are not aware of what this entails, it requires that you visit 12 for all 15 mom-and-pop donut shops throughout the county and get a stamp or acquire the nearby geocache. Upon completing 117 miles in roughly 6 hours we came back to the visitation center, present our passport and acquired our T-shirt and completion Coin for 2018. The ability to hit all of these donut shops required proper planning. It was great to see a number of different things throughout our travels. Additionally it was nice to engage with locals and donut shop operators alike. I can tell you that if you do not get here early enough, you will miss out on some of the best concoctions and creative flavors. read more

Our second stop on the butler county donut trail. It's a small unassuming place but when you walk inside you are greeted with awesome display case filled all kinds of delicious sweet baked treats! The inside is small with a few tables and walls decorated with cute handmade coffee beans wall art. We got the chocolate donuts filled with peanut butter cream - omg amazing! I can see why it's the last one left. We also got a huge cream horn - sooo good the outside so flakey and the cream is very airy. Went to Jupiter Donuts in Fairfield today for a Sunday morning treat. This place was crowded! We got a apple fritter, a red storm ( which is HUGE) and a Bavarian cream. These donuts were very fresh and insanely large. They have tons of varieties ranging from cake and yeast donuts to postures like cherry and cheese danish. Everything looked heavenly and the service was extremely friendly. They even offered a special of pumpkin spice coffee! We will definitely be going back to this place! read more

They make EVERYTHING in-house! Jupiter is hands-down the best coffee and donuts I have ever had! First of all, their donuts are made from scratch; they know and you know what you are eating. No "thawing" overnight like some chain fast-food donut places owned by an oil company. Their flavors change daily, but typical favorites are available all-day, every day. Sweet and aromatic, their blueberry cake donut is by far my favorite, closely followed by the cream cheese filled donut! My fiancé adores their maple frosted! Their coffee is, again, the best I've had, and I've had La Terza, Cavu, and others like Intelligentsia. Try a plain latte. It's full of flavor, which I've never been able to replicate at any cafe. The coffee is almost as if it were brewed specifically to reflect the smell of the bakery--a perfect companion to a delicious donut! And the staff! They are exemplary in serving you as the customer! Jupiter Coffee is one of my favorite places in Fairfield. Not only are their donuts mouthwatering perfection, but the atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and creative. For example, I walked into Jupiter a few weeks ago and it was decked out floor to ceiling with Harry Potter decor / references. As a serious potterhead, I geeked out a bit. I asked the guy behind the counter, "What's with the Harry Potter stuff?" He replied, "It's Harry Potter week..." Geekin, I said, "Like, just for fun?" And he simply replied, "Yup!" Jupiter is our Saturday (and sometimes Sunday (and sometimes Monday-Friday) haha) morning date spot. We go weekly to purchase their in-house roasted beans to enjoy the rest of the week. I travel for work & am not a resident of Ohio. Often, I'll take clients some sweets. I needed to get some goodies & after a quick search on Waze, I found this place. I got 5 dozen donuts and the girl that worked there helped a lot. She helped carry the boxes to my car. I had gone to a different bakery the previous day & that girl didn't help me carry any of those boxes so something as little as this girl helping me put even more positive vibes out there. I remember when this was bees donuts. I was worried when they changed the name that it would go down hill. They haven't disappointed me yet. I tried one of they flavored lattes this morning. Bee's Donuts is one of those places I had passed at least a million times, and never remembered that it was back there. The reason that changed the other day is because I was visiting my grandpa and my uncle brought him a warm donut from Bee's and insisted that I try it. After that tasty morsel, I knew that a dozen of their lovelies were in my future. I left from the visit with my grandpa, and headed straight over there, and was greeted by an incredibly friendly lady. I told her I had never been there so I needed a minute, and she helped me along with my selections. I ordered several varieties, and man they were tasty. If you like jelly donuts, and are an official donut maniac like myself, then you will be pleased with these jellies. They are pretty hefty in size and FULL of that yummo jelly that will give anyone a case of the noms. I usually go to the Donut Spot because it's closer to home, but I think I will make an exception and switch it up a bit. The donuts were good, the staff were super nice and fun! I live and work in Fairfield, and I've driven by this spot every day on my way to/from work. Back when it was Bee's Donuts, I kept meaning to try it, but just never got around to it. I heard good things about Jupiter and kept saying to myself that I WILL stop in there....yano, eventually. Well, being a fan of Restaurant.com, I came across a Jupiter gift certificate, $4 for a $10 certificate. The catch? You have to spend $20 to use it. No problemo. More donuts for me. 4th of July weekend, with my husband and 4 year old in tow, we finally make our stop at Jupiter. What a cute little bakery. The selection was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful, even with my indecision. Let me tell ya, it takes a LOT of donuts, danishes, cinnamon rolls and chocolate milk to add up to $20, but we did it! Came out with a treasure of sweet treats for $12!
