I moved my family to Jupiter and bought a boat in 1987, only after thoroughly exploring the Treasure and Gold Coasts. The decision to settle in Jupiter with three children was entirely based upon quality of life issues: good schools, a large selection of activities, ocean access, etc. Medical care never crossed our minds. 38 years later, I have suddenly realized that I can never leave Jupiter. The quality of the medical care cannot be reproduced. Seven doctors in unrelated practices, all affiliated with Jupiter Medical Center, keep my motor running. I and they can access all medical records, scheduling, and communication in one place. When you visit the hospital as much as I, organization like that is invaluable. read more

My previous primary care doctor retired and sold his practice to this group. One of his prior associates now fronts for them. As a member of the health care community you know how people are supposed to be treated. Well this place isn't that place that you feel welcome or warm and fuzzy about. The intact nurse never introduced herself and when I asked who she was she got a major attitude. The ARNP that followed was not much better. I would highly recommend traveling to any other practice besides the Jupiter medical group. I was on hold for over an hour just to make an appointment before someone picked up the phone. The worst part was that whoever it was that picked up the phone, laughed, and then quickly hung up the phone. When I called back I was transferred to the doctors answering service. I've had this issue for years with the receptionist staff at the Jupiter location. I understand that they are busy but this isn't the first time that this has happened. I enjoy the bedside manners of Dr. Novoa and PA. Leo but the front of the house is terrible and makes the experience unbearable. read more

I am writing this to share how this business is run. They have just sold their practice to another medical group (Conviva Care) less than a year after acquiring it from yet another group. They did not inform me. I just found out as I called their number to schedule my annual physical that ownership had changed. Neither did the new owner bother to inform me. Conviva Care did tell me they were dropping my (well established) insurance (BCBS!) in September. I still wanted to go ahead with my physical. And the cherry on the cake is: they no longer take tests and send to the lab. I would have to make arrangements with Quest myself. What kind of f...ing physical care is that. Customers are just cattle. And we have to do all the work. I am looking for another provider of course. read more

It is not a clean place especially for a medical office. I do not think anyone wipes down the waiting room or the treatment rooms. I have had a MA go out of the room and come back in and not change her gloves to do bloodwork. I do like the NP Natalie she is very good. read more

I am 67 y.o., and i have never experienced such terrible treatment. I have been waiting for 1 month to get a referral to a cancer specialist,the same amount of time for a cat scan. I was so sick the other night I had to go to the Emergency room. Whatever you don't I repeat don't see Dr Sharifa she is absolutely the worst Dr ever. I absolutely love Renee Lancaster! She is truly amazing. She cares so much about her patients, at no time did she make me feel rushed or like I was burdening her. She really took the time to ask questioning and point me in the right direction. Though she is not a doctor, I have normally always been seen by the PA of the office at my previous doctors offices so I am completely comfortable with this. If you are really fixated on seeing a "doctor" then go elsewhere. I highly recommend this office. The office staff was friendly and went out of their way to help me with different specialists I could see for an issue I was having. The wait was not long and the office was nice. We make every effort to keep our appointment schedule. Please extend us the courtesy of notifying us 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. On my wife recent visit this is so far from the truth...When she checked it the receptionist neglected to notify her that Dr Egan was running extremely late. Another patient in the waiting room was actually the person to inform her that she had been waiting for over an hour. When my wife went back and asked the receptionist if she could go wait outside in a safer environment due to Covid and they could call her on her phone when the Dr was ready the reception person said they don' do that. When Dr Egan finally met with my wife 92 minutes after her scheduled appointment she never acknowledged or even attempted to apologize for her extreme late arrival. The Dr when she finally saw my wife did take her time with her and did not rush her. Why has the world gotten to a point where we don't treat patients with common courtesy, politeness and respect? I do understand that Drs can run late and usually do but no matter how busy a person is they should not believe that they are above everyone else and not at least show some courtesy and respect for the patient to at least acknowledge the delay. When I called the staff to see if this is the norm they basically said you should plan on waiting a long time to see a Dr and they don't feel it is their duty to inform you that they are running late when you check in. If this group did what they say on their website and truly make every effort to keep their appt schedule they would schedule more time in the day between appts so that they were not always late. Instead the person I spoke to stated that Dr Egan routinely runs an hour and a half behind schedule. She might be a great Dr but she and the Jupiter Medical Group certainly don't practice superior patient care! I have been a patient at JMG for more than 20 years. I have generally been happy with the physician's assistants (I have never seen an MD). Kevin Wilkes was wonderful. I recently have seen Natalie, Travis (& Will), and Leo. My problem with the group is the office management. My latest disastrous experience with this office began on August 4th. I was informed that I had been sitting days before by a colleague (no masks for 5 hours) that later tested positive for Covid. I looked up Covid symptoms and realized that I had several. That morning I was tested (both rapid and PCR) which came back negative. Nearly a week later my health had declined and I was now feeling ten times worse. I called the triage line at JMG to try to see or talk to someone on Monday, Aug 9th at 9:47am and was only able to leave a message. After 3 hours with no return call, I called again. I left a similar message. My messages were never followed up on. Two days later (Wednesday) I still was not well and called again. This time Kaitlyn on the appointment line answered. She was uninterested in the fact that no one from Monday had called me back. Her continual response was that she returns all of the messages that she receives. But at least she was able to help me make an appointment. That appointment was for a telehealth appointment at 5:55pm on Friday. She explained to me how that would work and I took notes as she spoke. She said that I would receive a link and should get on the meeting at 5:45 (all in my notes). After making my appointment for Friday with Kaitlyn I decided to address the fact that no one had responded to either message from Monday so again I called the doctors' office and left a message on the same triage line requesting that someone, preferably a supervisor, return my call (third one!) On Friday (from my office, 40 minutes from home) I started to attempt to find the link for my telehealth appointment. None. I tried for 5 minutes and and then called the answering service, explained the problem, and was transferred to the doctors' office after being told there is someone there that will answer for the answering service until 7pm. Great. Not. It rang twice and then disconnected. I called the answering service again and explained what happened. She put me on hold so that she could make contact rather than forward my call. She got back to me saying that she spoke to them and they said they were running behind, had not sent the link yet and that I should continue to look for it because it should happen soon. I tried this for another 15 minutes or so. I called back again. I got the answering service and let them know that I would soon be giving up and wanted to make sure that all of my communications had been recorded. (I certainly did not want to be charged for not making the appointment.) She made sure that she had all of my identifying information and made note of the issue. At 6:30 I decided 45 minutes of searching for the promised link was enough. I called again and asked the answering service to communicate to the doctors' office that I would like them to call me as I was getting on the road and had given up waiting for the link. Approximately 10 minutes later (driving on I95 in the rain) I get a phone call from the doctors' office and the woman tells me that they will be Facetiming me in just a few minutes. And also that they were accommodating me even though I'd missed my appointment. She said the appointment I'd made was not a telehealth appointment but an appointment in their Jupiter office. I told her that was not the appointment that had made and she said again that Travis would be Facetiming me in a few minutes. I told her again that I was on I95 in the rain, driving home, and that Travis could call me but I was no longer available for a Facetime call. She said that won't work and she would reschedule my appointment. By then I was so tired of the journey that I told her that what I wanted was a message to be given to Leo Bejarano to call me. The last time I was in the office I saw Leo and based on my general health issues, he told me that if I was to have any covid symptoms I should contact him/the office right away and he would get me started on meds as early intervention was the best way to treat Covid. Gee, I tried but I don't know that it is even possible. This office is an example of big business; inefficient and unconcerned about it's clientele. This is what I've heard socialized medicine is like; so much bureaucracy and horrible healthcare. I highly respect and have been pleased with Leo, Natalie, and Travis but I will most likely leave this group if someone does not contact me. The PAs could be the greatest in the world but seems I'd be dead before any of them would ever have the opportunity to treat me. The incompetence of this office is not just an inconvenience, but is potentially dangerous and possibly deadly. read more

I am a 66 year old male and was previously with Dr. Orlan Carr who retired. I contacted Jupiter Medical who took over his patients and was given Dr. Lopez. I needed to renew prescriptions that Dr. Carr had previously prescribed. I was told to come in and get blood work before the Dr could see me. I was not living in the Jupiter area and explained that it would be better if they called in the bloodwork prescription to Labcorp and I would go there and have bloodwork done and then set appointment with Dr. Lopez. I called, set the appointment and verified they had the results before traveling an hour to get to my appointment. When I got there they weren't sure they had my blood work. Dr. Lopez came in and I must say he has the worst bedside manner I've experienced in my life. I was surprised at his lack of ability to listen to a patient and find out what has been working well for the patient. Instead he chose to change medications to his liking. He was very misinformed on certain medications and I was surprised by his lack of knowledge. I had more knowledge than he did and he wanted me to know how great his knowledge was and how whatever I had to say was not important. He said he didn't understand why Dr. Carr didn't order other test at the time of the bloodwork? Dr. Carr has been retired. He didn't order the blood work Dr. Lopez did? He didn't have my records with him, he never talked with me about alternative medications etc. Would not recommend this Doctor. read more

Doctors are good, but don't try to get refills done right away... sometimes takes up to 2 weeks. office does not return phone calls and they ignore my pharmacy for refill requests.... Had appointment on Friday, 10/2....was prescribed a medicine which I desparately need for my psoraisis.....the pharmacy says my insurance isn't covering the combined cream med....so the pharmacy and I have been trying to get a hold of your office since Friday!!! No repsonse, no return phone call. The answering service hung up on me twice....the third time, the lady finally took a message from me. This is LOUSY care. Very disappointed since Wellington Family practice joined this group. Very sad. The NP was very good though...but trying to call your office is ridiculous at best. Who gets a 2 hour lunch break! There is a severe disconnect b/n the Physician and the office staff. I am on a Rx that u should not go on and off. I am constantly having to call in for refills for the same meds I have had for years. I leave messages because u can never get someone live and they did not call in refill. Unfortunately this place does not care about the health of the patients. It's all about how many patients they can get in to make them the practice money. I have had 2 family members passed away over diagnosis's that could of been avoided and caught by their primary doctors to begin with. I've been calling in to make a new patient appointment. I can't call during the day when I'm at work. Last Friday and today, I left work a few minutes early to call in. I called at 11:55 both times, put put in cue because there are calls ahead of me. Both times, I am hung up on because they are going on service at 12. My line was clearly picked up and then dropped so they could go to lunch. Very disappointed since their doctors were recommended to me. I have been going to this Group for years and have been seen by many of the Doctors and PAs They can always work me in when I have s medical Issue that needs immediate attention. I also, enjoy the fact that they can take care of blood work, X-rays, bone density tests and other needs right in the office! I don't have to make other appointments and endure wait times at testing facilities! Their on line patient portal is great. I can request appointments, refills and referrals and they are taken care of immediately. This is a very busy practice but if you use their tools you don't need to wait on hold or wait for call backs! read more

Let me start by saying, the doctors are not the issue, the wait at this office is terrible. For a 11.15 appt, I arrived promptly at 10.50 and after almost 90 mins I have yet to be seen or even informed as to what is happening. The staff is allways high strung, seems under stress and does not seem helpful. The nurses seem fine. I am changing my allegiance and will be looking for another doctor. I asked her to please hold on while I was going to call my husband so he could confirm what appointment he wanted She agreed to hold on and no more 30 seconds she hung up on me. When I called back, the other appointment setter said I already had the appointment scheduled that I never agreed to. That woman made me feel like I was bothering her when I was speaking to her like she got up on the wrong side of bed. She kept cutting me off when I tried to talk. I had a fever for about 10 days then went to Wellington Regional Hospital via ambulance on 7/8 and spent 12 days with covid 19 and pneumonia.I called and made an appointment on 7/24 with the appointment being today 8/10.The Wellington office tells me I need a negative test so I go on 7/30 get the results and am ready for my appointment.I send them in ahead of time and receive a call one hour ahead of my appointment saying I need two negatives before an office visit.I HAD 17 DAYS TO DO WHATEVER NECESSARY.I WILL NEVER VISIT ANY OF THEIR OFFICES and will file a complaint with whatever office handles healthcare complaints.I have had headaches and was looking forward to an office visit. read more

my son went in on Monday to be examined for neck pain which was causing him a lot of discomfort. the dr suggested he get x-rays - he went to get x-rays on Tuesday. the results of the x-rays were sent to the dr on the same day - Tuesday. as of today, Friday, the dr has still not read the results and of course not called to give results. he only went to Jupiter Medical Group because it was the dr assigned to him by his new insurance company. Renee Lancaster has taken care of me, my hubby and my father for more than ten years. When my Dad was still alive, she would even get down on the floor to talk to him eye level when he was in a wheelchair. She is the most compassionate person we have ever been to. She is very thorough, never rushes you and makes you feel like you are very important to her. I have been recommending her for so long that now it is not always easy to get an appointment the next day like it used to be. Maybe I am recommending her too much. Grin We have also been to Kevin Wilkes when we couldn't get in to see Renee and he too has done a good job of taking care of both of us. I can not say enough good things about Renee though. We very much appreciate her AND the rest of the staff. I've read some of the reviews and am surprised at some of the comments. In all these years we have never encountered any rudeness from any of the staff from the nurses, the receptionist, the referral department is especially awesome (and we have had a ton of referrals!), etc. Everyone has always been friendly and courteous. I made a Drs appointment but was seen by a nurse. When I asked for a Dr, the nurse, Renee asked me to leave and reschedule. I told the receptionist I had made a Drs appointment and wanted to see one, but I was told again I needed to reschedule. On my way to the ER the office manager called to apologize but it was too late. Very unhappy staff. I got the feeling they are an insurance mill and simply push old folks through the doors. They call me 6 hours before and tell me they no longer accept my plan. Beware of this group. Hello...the day of my appointment? I can't change my plan cause I'm outside the "open enrollment". Dr. Sarah Beladi MD And her team have left me speechless. TERRIBLE! Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. Whether minor check up or incredibly sick visits it is always a complete inconvenience to visit this practice. Her team is rude, aggressive and has absolutely no customer service blood in their body. I was hospitalized TWICE after visiting this doctor and was reassured my health was fine!!! These are people's lives and health and they just certainly do not take their job seriously or hold any integrity in their work. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My Aunt had a telemed appointment On 04/15/2020 with Dr Ashberg. Dr Ashberg is wonderful. My Aunt has to have her blood checked every 27 days to ck her INR, she takes warfarin. We were very nervous about taking her to the lab at the hospital she has a standing appointment every 27 days, we expressed our concern to Dr Ashberg. Dr Ashberg quickly came up with a solution. She asked us to come to the office and when we arrived in the parking lot to call and she would send a Nurse Names James down to the car and my Aunt only had to put the car window down enough to put her had out and James could prick her finger and give her the results immediately. So that was the plan! Trisha from their office called to confirm everything and gave me a few more tips on what to do when we arrived. Well I have to say Thank You Thank You Thank You Dr Ashberg, James and Trisha. You were all AMAZING! My Aunt is 96. She was so relieved and so was I. My Aunt kept saying GOD BLESS THEM. read more
