We saw the store front as we passed by heading south and stopped on the way back. Everything looked amazing. Got the Ohio Apple and the blackberry. The Ohio Apple was amazing. Sweet and tart with apples and cranberry, walnuts. The crust was good. The blackberry was the thickest filling Ibe ever seen. The flavor was good but the texture was different. My family and I travel and eat out a lot. Needless to say we love pies and have had many over the years and were excited to see a local homemade pie shop. Gave them two separate tries, because everyone has an "off" day--and maybe you need to 'know what to order'. But both times were completely inedible. Crust was stale and gross, the fillings were tasteless and downright not good. I REALLY try to support local, yet this is not a place I can support. Price point is rather high, BUT worth it if it's good, sadly none of the four pies I had went beyond a bite and we threw them away. Ordered several days early for Thanksgiving 2020. Not only did they sell me an overpriced pie, but It wasn't what I ordered and late. The line for pickup was long slow. Absolutely the BEST pie's I have ever tasted. I had the Apple, Strawberry Rhubarb, 4 Berry. Each pie was crammed packed with fresh real ingredients. Unfortunately, not as good as they look. We bought individual size pies from Jupiter pies with high hopes. We were very disappointed. All the types of pies were under cooked and had various raw aspects to their taste. The apple pies had apple core and seed husks in them which were an unwanted surprise. Perhaps they were made in haste? I would recommend they try their own product every now and then to validate their batches. read more

Just opened my second purchase from the farmers market and like the first it was not good. Doughy, wet, dense and completely not eatable. It looked nice in the plastic wrap ( chocolate chip/coconut bread) but once opened and cut looked more like it had been frozen before and pulled out to thaw. It was brown on top so I believe it was baked at some point. My friend got the coconut variety and it was the same. My first purchase a couple weeks ago was a tomato pie and it was unacceptable as well. I was hoping it was just a fluke so that's why I tried Jupiter pies again... so disappointed I try to buy from local companies and as much as I want to support this business I just can't justify paying $$ and throwing it away. I've never purchased anything from their store so perhaps it's a problem with the goods that go to market. read more

We very excited about visiting your latest location at 587 Burcale RD, Myrtle Beach, SC., its only a mile from where we live. I bought 2 cinnamon buns and a raspberry pie. The buns were huge and $4.00 apiece. What a disappointment if they were day just a old that would be a miracle, not even 30 seconds in the microwave could salvage these buns. The next day we tried the raspberry pie, it was awful. The pie crust was very good, but the filling was solid gelatin and it just rolled around in your mouth. Yuck! My order was over 17 dollars in total and we threw it in the garbage. Don't have to worry about us coming back ever! read more

She was so pleasant and when my wife was torn between two flavors guided her to the cherry pie, which she totally enjoyed. I picked up a small Key lime, mine and my son's favorite. I have been waiting for a while to try one of these pies. In fact I have seen them at local market but never picked up one. And I passed by their 707 shop almost daily. I decided to run in and when I got there they didn't open until 10 even though online it says 9. So I waited and took my daughter when she got home from school. We picked up a chocolate pie and a Keylime pie. Both are super smooth and very tasty. The only negative I would say and the only reason why I took one star away is that both the pies bottoms didn't come out in a slice it's almost like crumbs not really a cooked piecrust. And even though it's a gram cracker style crust it should be cooked enough that when you cut a piece it comes out evenly but have no fear we ended up just putting the crust on top as a garnish. read more

What a great surprise to find this locally owned little business with great pies served by entertaining, personal owner! I had the key lime and it definitely satisfied my hopeful expectations! My wife loves pecan pie and Ms. Jupiter had like 3 or 4 different types, regular, chocolate bourbon pecan, chocolate pecan....She chose the regular pecan which Ms. Jupiter warned is not as sweet as perhaps most people have had...but it was just what my wife was looking for....and tons of pecans! I don't know why this place doesn't have any reviews on here, they are amazing! Me and my boyfriend went there a few minutes and got a key lime pie, pecan bourbon pie, and a cherry cheese danish. Danish was a solid 8/10 I'm sure it would have been a 9 if it was warmed up but we couldn't wait and ate it in the car. Key lime 9/10 the right amount of tart and that crust was delicious! My boyfriend gave the pecan bourbon pie a delicious/delicious haha Don't up on it because on the inside it doesn't really look all that put together, but I've seen them at pop up places and any outdoor vendor opportunities so that's probably why they didn't put much into their store. I had read reviews and heard great things so I decided to purchase a pie to take to a gathering. It was very overpriced and it was awful. The graham cracker type crust disintegrated when cut. No one had more than a sprinkling of "crust" on their slice. No one that tasted it liked it. It was sickening sweet and the topping was some sort of faux whipped cream. I also purchased an apple turnover which was a generous size but average at best. For $33 that pie should have been fabulous and the owner should have done more than a generic "gee sorry" . That is not the way a customer should be treated when they pay for an item that is sub par. read more

If you are interested in a large selection of outstanding pies this is the place you have to try. We had the most incredible 4 berry pie that i have ever had. We also purchased an apple crumb pie that was delicious. This was our first time that we had a Jupiter Pie but it definitely will not be the last time. A Jupiter Pie is going to become our go to dessert. Everyone is so friendly and pleasant to speak with. If in doubt Mrs. Jupiter will make a recommendation for you.
