Drove to Cheyenne, Wyoming from Colorful Colorado to lurk on firework deals. We did a lot of store hopping and Jurassic Fireworks was one of them. Not really sure why Google offers a number of negative reviews, but I enjoyed the experience. The employees were helpful and friendly enough, I don't think we got pestered from any of them for a hard upsell. The store was offering BOGO plus 10% off, you just needed to sign up for the text messages. They post someone with a megaphone right next to the Black Cat, Phantom, and Pyro City outlets which encourage others for these great deals they so proudly announce. Very happy with the service, a young man named Marlow answered all our questions and helped us pick out the best artillery and finale bundles. Great prices will be back next year! So definitely can't hate on quality because most everything is name brand. But the prices are Garbage. The "buy one get one" wasn't even honored for 90 percent of items. But what they do is mark everything up double and that's how you get the bogo pricing They have. But it doesn't work unless they honor it. They even had the audacity to have a sign in their store about the " lawsuite of bogo deals "from their competitors but they are doing the same thing. I Didnt even want to bring up their price match gauruntee when I found 99 percent of the products for cheaper when they wouldn't even honor their other promotions. I should have paid more attention to the reviews on Yelp stating you need to check your receipt, beware of prices, and the mention that the buy 1 get 2 isn't being honored. My first time ever buying in WY, I went to Artillery World and their sister store Jurassic Fireworks. When I walked in I was greeted by two young boys who did what they could to fill up my cart. That's ok, it's sales and I'm ok with that. I told them I had a budget of $500 and they kept saying I was within in the budget as we added items. Long story short, when I went to pay, it was WAAAY over my budget at almost $800 and the owner Pete (nice guy in conversation) said I would have to put things back. I did not receive my "get 2" promotion despite "buying 1." They also didn't tell me you have to buy your first larger firework at retail for $350-$400 to get 50% off on anything else. The whole pricing thing was confusing and made me think it was by design. I ended up talking to Pete and he told me he would honor the missing mortar shell pack but after multiple attempts to get ahold of him on how this transaction will work, he has ghosted me and won't return my texts. I'm 4 hours drive time from this shop and without getting a response from him, I can't comfortably take that much time away from my day to end up being taken advantage of lied to. read more
