From the very beginning, my initial conversations with James Henry was helpful, insightful, and extremely informative. He was always available to return my calls and answer any questions that I had. I've never been through the process of planning a funeral, and I really needed direction and comfort in my decisions. James took time to explain everything to me in detail and made me feel comfortable and confident in all the decisions I was making. From the team who came to pick up my father's body, to the drivers who chauffeured us around the day of the funeral.. all of the staff were professional, understanding, caring, and on point. This is a unique business in that you don't want to be in the position to deal with a funeral home, but unfortunately, it is a part of life. I would choose this funeral home a thousand times over and tell everyone that I know to be confident in the team there. There were a few hiccups with the insurance initially, but we got through it( insurance back-office drag). Linda coordinated everything with the funeral home in Georgia and worked closely to ensure my mother's remains were transported safely to Detroit. I went with cremation and provided my own urn, which i was ok with. My biggest issue is how unorganized they became after I paid cash for the process and requested the urn to be shipped as quickly as possible. It's been over 2 weeks and now I have to hold a memorial with no remains. I still have not received a tracking number, and when I ask how it was shipped despite the near 200 dollar charge. This on top of the loss is infuriating. Thank God I won't ever have to deal with this place again. I really recommended you find another funeral home for your loved ones. I wish I had.

Horrible service. My grandmother had a plot already purchase here. So had no other choice but to…read morego here. Didn't have any snow removal prepared. Days before the burial. And had to wait the day of her burial because their equipment couldn't get through the snow. No consideration for the people who are already going through a hard time.
