We came here on a Friday night after much research on something tasty and healthy. I decided on this place based on Yelp photos and reviews. It was initially empty, but people started rolling in mainly for pickup orders or Uber Eats drivers were waiting for the order. I was a bit skeptical because there was no one in there and it's not a typical restaurant where they'll serve you water and I think there was a bit of a language barrier with the older gentleman but we ordered and waited. He did tell us it might take 20 minutes. So it really did take 20 minutes BUT I was so pleasantly surprised with the portion size and wow the taste. We ordered the tilapia with a side of mac and cheese and corn, as well as a salmon and shrimp dish with broccoli and sweet potato. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The broccoli had a nice crunch with enough seasoning. The sweet potato's and corn were also good. The only item I'd skip is the Mac and cheese, but everything else was perfectly delicious. The service is very slow but if you have time they really do make amazing food. I would 1000% come again. The restaurant staff also came out to check on us a few times and I truly felt their hospitality as if I was in their home. I can't recommend this place enough. PLEASE GO! read more

This location is immensely better than their other locations the food was similar (good at both) but the service here is much better. There is space here to sit and eat your meal inside, which I opted to here. The wait is quite awhile for your food but that's fine.. I went with the Salmon , along with two sides. The portion is very fair. I was only able to eat half. I took the rest home for dinner. read more

I just finished eating my coo coo callaloo and steam salmon and now I am trying to decide if I want to get that again next time we order or if I want to try something else - because yes, it really is that good. Came hot, fresh, and very flavorful. Salmon was well cooked and not at all dry. Perfectly cooked and a really large portion ($20, dinner and lunch tomorrow - I'm not mad at all!). Husband got the shark and a salmon burger (he was HUNGRY) - also generous portions (he is no longer hungry). He got sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese - next time he will get check out the pasta instead. All in all, totally worth it and looking forward to next time! read more

We ordered to go after a concert nearby. So glad we did, as this restaurant goes on our list of good find/ we will be back to try other dishes on the menu. Really enjoy this place. I'm always getting shrimp with mixed veggies and macaroni pie or cabbage and macaroni pie and it tastes ( damn good) the same every single time. I would venture out to other things on the menu but I'm hooked on the grill shrimp. I tried the salmon and I preferred the shrimp. Forgive me if I'm rambling like Bubba from Forest Gump. Delivery for me is always fast and most importantly for $17 you actually get more than 6 pieces of shrimp. A newer better store than their original location , however its far less accessible, especially by train. This restaurant is still a work in progress in terms of seating and being fully set up .The original Jus Fishy was always cramped for space even without any customers in the store ! Striking up a convo with one of the managers, she mentioned that the new location is going to have its liquor license and operate similar to a lounge when it's all said and done. Store hours are also longer now as well while still maintaining their high standard food . P.s Went here for their soup yesterday and not their renowned fish meals . So I stumbled across this restaurant via Ubereats. I had to double check because there is a similar restaurant close to me with a similar name. It turns out this is the same store just newer and better? The food is still pretty amazing. I ordered the grill salmon and 2 sides which is always a good choice. It comes with sauces, one of them being really spicy and the other being some sort of aioli. The delivery was on time which is the least I can say for the previous store. The only thing was off was the option for sweet potato. It seems that's no longer a side which was pretty good. read more

Ok, this hasn't been open a very long time. I've gone to the original restaurant and have been hesitant to come here although I pass it to go to the other. I was lazy and saw the reviews and they were positive. Decided to give it a try. Shame on me for not looking at reviews earlier. The food here is even better. Great job. I'm giving 2 stars because this is the SECOND time in the row they have messed up by order of grilled salmon and shrimp. My only options are to receive a partial refund ( to make it the price of the grilled shrimp meal which is not what I ordered), take a credit for the next time and they will make sure my salmon is in there ( again this is the second time in a row) OR I can walk down there and pick it up myself. The first time my order was wrong the person I spoke to on the phone was rude to me. When I said they got my order wrong she told me " I'm not the one that messed up your order miss". This time the person was more polite and at least offered options but come on...it's their most EXPENSIVE dish!!! I actually had to order extra because I was afraid they would mess up my order again ( as they did) and i would be hungry! Honestly it is hard because their food is SO good! ( shout out to folks who can't stop eating at Chick Fil A knowing they are racist and homophobic) but I am open to suggestions for a place that is just as good BUT will GET MY WHOLE ORDER RIGHT and when they do fuck it up, do more than just refund the difference. I order from this location at least once a week- a healthy alternative for seafood lovers. I used to go to the other location and the food here is just as good if not better. The food at the Jus Fishy located at 1059 Flatbush ave is decent. I had the salmon burger and it was... fine. My problem is the service. Oh wow. The woman at the desk is the rudest, most condescending person I've met in food service. Why should I pay you for barely decent fare to wait for 30 mins for a basic burger and to top it all off, this server behaves as if I am bothering her for coming into the restaurant?!
