I don't usually leave reviews but we visit this location frequently and were heartbroken to learn yesterday that one of the night managers, Woody, is leaving soon. She is a total burst of energy who engages beautifully with both her staff and the customers. She always takes incredible care of us and goes around and ask every customer "if everything's okay". She ensures we have extra napkins to-go plates and hands out toys to my kids every trip. We hope her next steps in life take her far she is truly amazing and will be dearly missed. Aside from the stellar service, the food is always hot, staff is very welcoming. We will miss Woody immensely but will definitely continue supporting this Cane's! read more

I really like their food! The chicken is tender and well cooked on the inside crispy on the outside! They use real chicken breast strips not imitation. The crinkle fries are the best not salty. The sweet tea on the other hand tastes like water with sugar you're better off getting a diet soda! I Wish they offered water or plain seltzer for those that don't drink soda at all. It's a healthier alternative option! The Texas toast WOW I order extra! So good fresh crispy and well seasoned! They should have a cheese option that would be amazing! The service is super fast if they are busy the manager( I think it was the manager) was out front helping today and he apologized for the delay! That is amazing customer service! The sides are sort of what made this place viral to begin with being the Cane's sauce, toasted potato bread, and Cole slaw. The portion sizes are on the bigger side. They give you a large portion of fries and sides but not enough chicken in comparison. If it were up to me I'd skip the fries and just opt for extra tenders, canes sauce, and slaw. The fries are crinkle cut and have no color or crisp. Ask for extra canes sauce. The people who work here are always friendly and upbeat with the restaurant itself being brand new. If you like peppery sauces, you'll probably enjoy it. It's a very popular spot, and I do recommend trying it. It's just not my personal favorite. I have been to this location often. I love right across the street from it and it becomes a mainstay when I do not want to cook. I have tried everything on the menu but I like their lemonade, fries, and tenders the best. The tenders are thick and juicy and delicious with the cane sauce. The lemonade is a good balance of tart and sweetness. The restaurant has dine option and take out. It's spacious and well lite. It can get very crowded with kids no matter when I go and sometimes they take up space and are very loud but no one does anything even though the kids do not buy anything. Sometimes, the place can get dirty and it's a long wait to get my food. The service can be hit and miss as well. A few times I waited well over 30 mins for my food. While I do like their food, compared to other fast food, their prices have gone up too much and I have cut down my visits from 2x a week to monthly. read more

I wanted to see what's the hype about raising canes. You see videos all over social media exaggerating how good dipping these chicken tender into a huge cup of canes sauce tastes. There are 2 kiosks to self order or 2 registers opened. The food came out within 5 mins. I ordered a meal to try one of everything. The chicken tenders were very juicy and moist but lacked some flavor inside the meat. The batter/crust wasn't really packed on and the other side was already falling off. The sauce wasn't all that. It's so regular and I think there are better sauces out there. It tastes like thousand islands and Caesar dressing mixed. The crinkle fries were on the skinny side which I liked. The toast had a layer of salty seasoning on it, came warm and it was good. Overall this is more of a 3.5/5 than 4 stars. Unfortunately I can't give our half stars. PSA: go during a time where there aren't all middle school kids there (I went around 2:30pm). They all just take over the whole sitting area. I visited Raising Cane's on a Saturday morning shortly after they opened. Ambiance It has that new restaurant feeling - everything's sparkly clean, nothing is broken, and the staff is pretty friendly. When I walked in there were a few staff members cleaning and wiping down the tables and front doors. The sauce station also looked cleaned and from what I could see into the kitchen it looked clean and organized as well. Food I ordered the three piece tenders combo with a regular DC. The meal was made fresh to order and took a few short minutes to be ready. They take your name and call for you - Starbucks style - when your order is ready. The chicken was fried fresh to order and had a nice crispy batter. This was the best part of the meal. Very generous sized tenders as well. The combo comes with Texas toast garlic bread - which was tasty but not special. It also comes with their crinkle cut fries which were particularly salty to me, but had a good texture. They definitely weren't soggy. Lastly it comes with the Raising Canes sauce. I heard a lot of hype about it but it was sort of underwhelming. It's very Mayo heavy and I didn't really get any other pungent flavors. Overall, a nice fast food spot. I'll be back for chicken but maybe not the sides. True this place for the first time since I've heard about them for a while. I ordered the "Caniac" which had 6 chicken tenders, crinkle fryers, Texas Toast, and 2 cane sauces. I was rather surprised at how tasty the tenders were and with the cane sauce, "Yum!" Coming in to the location, you can either order from a kiosk or the register. I placed my order at the kiosk which was quick and easy. My order was finished and ready for pick up within 10 minutes. The ambiance is nothing like a typical chicken joint, it was brightly lit, tables all over and loud country music as background music. My order was to go as this was a lunch grab but I would recommend this place as an option for a good lunch. read more

The second time around, I came back to eat in at the restaurant and it was a totally different experience. The tenders were piping hot and juicy and the fries were decently crispy. However, I thought the sauce was overhyped. It's not bad but it just tastes like ketchup mayo with black pepper. If I was craving some chicken tenders, I'd probably visit another chain given the high price and average sauce options available at Raising Cane's. I was so excited to try this place based on all the reviews that I had heard. I got the box which is basically 4 piece with the bread, fried, sauce, and cole slaw. The price was 15.99 When I opened the lid, I was very disappointed. The chicken fingers were TINY. From picking up the food and back to my house was around 10 minutes The sauce is good and I enjoyed the cole slaw too. However, the chicken was simply mid. It's tender and tastes good. I've been to this location a few times, and it's pretty solid. The food is always fresh even though it's busy. You get your order pretty quickly, the staff is friendly, and they keep the dining area very clean. The only real problem here is parking. Just like shopping in this area, finding parking is always really difficult. I went for an event once, and it was kind of a bust, but I guess that's how holiday events can be sometimes. For my drink, I tried the half lemonade half sweet tea. I enjoyed this mixed drink. And for my meal, I went with the big boy; the caniac combo. Have been waiting for Raising Canes to open from the moment we saw the sign - why? not really sure but the excitement of having a "fast food restaurant" had us on our toes. We decided to get a combo to try and opted for two texas toasts (1 came with the meal, opted out of cole slaw for another) the order came with fries, tenders and a drink of your choice, we got half lemonade and half sweetened tea. First, the tenders - thats what you're there for. They were nice and tender, ha and juicy. Definitely good for what theyre known for! Everything else- you can honestly skip. The fries, felt almost similar to frozen crinkled fries, that can be fried a little more. The Texas toast - good but honestly just a piece of bread grilled with butter or mayo? And then the drink.. it was crazy crazy sweet! Next time if we do a half half, I'd opt for unsweetened tea and lemonade but I took a sip and did not want more. Prices felt a tad steep for the meal. Our 6 piece order with everything came out to $20 and change. Definitely worth a try but will come only if we have a craving for this. The last time I had fresh Raising Canes, I was in the Midwest. A few months ago, I was at a location in CT, and I was almost turned off by it completely. I nearly lost hope for Raising Canes because before that, I was in South Carolina, and it was okay, and we went before closing, so I chucked it to that. I've wanted to try this location since I first heard about it coming to South Brooklyn. I'm a big Canes fan, and when I was in the Midwest, I would frequent it weekly. So much so that when I return yearly, I stop by and get some grub. I'm so glad I was able to make it out finally. The place was busy! Every table was packed, and there were many workers. The person who took my order was courteous. My food came out within 5 minutes. The fries were perfectly salted and hot. The chicken tasted fresh; I didn't even need the sauce, and you know the sauce is the main show! And the half-sweet/half-sweet tea was delicious! Overall, I'm glad this location was excellent, and I got my Cane's fix! I'm excited to go back. Next time, I'm getting cole slaw and an extra toast! read more

A clean and inviting dining area with friendly staff makes this a great addition to the area. Many fast food places abandoned this area of Kings Highway for a few years now (if not longer), so this restaurant has been embraced by the locals. When it first opened there was a long line out the door and it took me almost a year to finally get the opportunity to try this chicken concept out. I liked the ease of use of their app to order take out and the speed in which my meal was prepped. This was my first time trying Canes and to those that may also be new to the concept, they serve either chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, fries, Texas toast and cole slaw. Their combos are largely just different number of chicken strips. The canes sauce is good, sort of like a combo of mayo and ketchup with a little twang mixed in. I had the 6 strip combo ordered and it served as 2-3 meals. I liked their tasty Texas Toast and the strips. I thought the fries were a little bland and lacking in taste but part of this was due to the take out nature and they had gotten a little soggy. On a cold NY day, I can just imagine taking the subway back, putting my order in 2-3 stops away and being able to pick up the order as I get off the station. Went there tonight as my friend's daughter wanted to give it a try. we got the box combos. it's expensive but portions are big. out of the 4 tenders i got, 2 of mine were stringy and weird. the fries were extremely salty. cole slaw was just ok, a bit too sweet and the texas toast was the highlight which for a place with a limited menu known for chicken, that's not good. i'd prefer chick fil-a or even wendy's so that's not saying much. this is not near my neighborhood & i am not missing anything. even the kids agreed. on the plus side, the workers are friendly and efficient. read more

There is a perfect round to able in the corner, and it is first come first served basis.
