Great customer service; my little one is very extroverted and was constantly saying hi to the poor guy behind the counter , but he always took the time to say hi back. We ordered: -Chicken tenders combo - Nashville hot Chicken sandwiches (mild) -Mac and cheese All of the chicken was juicy and well cooked. Oftentimes chicken tenders end up being dry because it's chicken breast and smaller pieces; but these were delicious! All chicken is made to order, so this does mean you may be waiting a little, but who doesn't want piping hot fried chicken? Plus the fries are thicker cut and fried well. Now there is a slight downside to this review, and I'm not reducing the rating because I still really enjoyed the food and absolutely would come again. This wasn't Nashville hot chicken. It wasn't tossed in sauce. I'm not mad at that since I got it to bring home and this meant the chicken wasn't soggy. This place has such delicious food. They had recently opened up and I had been wanting to stop by to see what they had. I was initially going in to get their chicken biriyani but saw their Fries Madness option and I can't pass up Fries with homemade sauces. Upon entering i was immediately greeted by the owner. He is such a nice man and very pleasant to speak with. We always end up chatting the whole time im there waiting for my order if it isn't too busy. I had asked about his Mac & Cheese as well as the fries madness as i love good mac and cheese and he was very honest in stating that they were still working on improving their mac and cheese and offered it as a freebie to try and comment on it. In my opinion their mac and cheese could use some work. Since they are making a stove top mac and cheese and not oven baked the mac and cheese felt a little watery and missing a cheese flavor. I would recommend adding a cheese to help bind the other cheeses and some cheddar or sharp cheddar to give it some flavoring. Now their Fries Madness, no need for changes as this item is delicious as is! I have been coming back around every 2 weeks just for this item and i can't get enough of it. their Mad Chipotle sauce is spicy but with a hint of sweetness. The madness of the fries, slaw, fried chicken and mac and cheese is delicious. it also comes with pickles which i remove because i do not like pickles (though they have added pickles the last 2 times i have been by even though i make sure to say no pickles, oh well they are easy to remove). I will definitely be returning and going to try their Mint Margarita as I have been told that it is delicious as well. The place is extremely small. Food is halal and expensive. They always charge tax on food. Chicken was fresh, but French fries were bad. I tried Nashville hot chicken sandwich and Fries Madness. They charged me $10.31 for the burger, and Fries Madness was $14.14. I asked for hot sauce, and they asked me to pay more. I went to many halal places and no one asked me to pay extra for a sauce. Smash Burger-(x 3oz) freshly ground beef patties smashed & griddle cooked with onions, Pepper Jack & White American Cheese. Served on brioche with romaine lettuce, pickles & homemade smash sauce, was INCREDIBLE! Honestly one of the Best burgers I had in a really long time. Even though due to some UberEats delivery issues, by the time I got it, it was lukewarm, but still was scrumptious and full of authentic, unique flavors. Perfectly cooked 2 smashed patties, 2 kinds of cheese, pickles and fresh Romaine lettuce added a perfect amount of crunch & flavor, I opted out of onions and asked for jalapeños instead and it even more increased the flavor and overall taste plus there was very yummy sauce and all together it was superb-10 out of 10 and 2 thumbs up Sweet potato fries that I've gotten also were very fresh and tasty! Since I am a huge lover of real homemade banana pudding, had to try their version of it. Dine in once, and got takeout once- both times had amazing service. The owner is so thoughtful and friendly. When we were dining in, he took the time to explain the restaurant and the menu to us. During that time, we got the chicken madness biryani. The rice was so flavorful, just the right amount of spice along with yummy chicken and green sauce. The Nashville hot chicken is quite spicy and the mad chipotle sauce complimented it very well. My second experience with forefeathers was through grubhub, which for some reason does not offer options when ordering chicken tenders. First off this place had great service, I was greeted and welcomed. Their establishment is still going through some minor hiccups; their display menu was not working, they also didn't have any of their special drinks available, the spicy rice was also not available at this time. Anyways ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich, Buffalo ranch sandwich, sweet potato fries and a Mac & cheese. I was warned that the Nashville would be hot but it was a 1 out of 10 at most. It was not spicy at all! The Buffalo ranch was spicier in my opinion. Anways the sandwich wasn't spicy at all but it was good. The food overall was good but didn't meet my expectations, I mentioned this when asked how the food was and was told to mention that I wanted it spicy when ordering next time. I definitely mentioned while ordering that I wanted to be sweating and wanted that burn that you'd expect from a Hot Nashville chicken sandwich. Guess he thought I was joking. The Nashville chicken sandwich was a huge let down, it wasn't bright red or have that oily cayenne pepper aroma that makes your nose hairs tickle. It was like it was dipped in Frank's Hotsauce and we all know that stuff ain't spicy at all... anyways I'll probably give this place another chance but definitely will mention I'd like the spice level around a 7 or 8.
