I'm at this store every week. They have fresh fruits and vegetables. The employees are super sweet and good workers. Yeah some of the canned food are expired so I avoid them. Once you get past that it's a little dirty in the store you can find some really good deals. Seems like they get "leftovers" from Costco and CVS. A lot of the snacks are past their best by date or a unique flavor or seasonal item that didn't do well in the regular store it came from. I'm not sure I would trust anything in the frozen section. I live nearby and forget this place is around. I have gotten a decent variety of plants here, both indoor and outdoor! My mom and I are avid gardeners and have found monstera Deliciosa, roses, vegetables, petunias, fiddle, leaf, snapdragon, and so many more. The variety changes daily, and they are well priced, though you don't know what they will have. I know people have mentioned that the store sells food that is past its best by date, but let's be real if we really cared about what we were eating here in America, we would see that the ingredients are so bad for us anyway LMAO. What really got me to write a review, however, is that I came by this morning to get balloons blown up for my godson's first birthday party. I just showed up with a bag that was purchased from Amazon and they didn't give me a hard time, they just charged me $.99 for latex balloons and $1.99 for the foil ones. They were done in 30 minutes or less and so nice about it. They also copy keys and it just feels like the neighborhood, random shop. Occasionally they have a good deal on produce like onions or other veggies. I'm trying to remember that it's a good place to stop by for random items like cleaning supplies, gift/birthday bags, or other miscellaneous items. You can get some good deals but be careful and make sure you know the price on others. Watch the dates a lot of things are sold that are already expired. The ladies at the register for the most part are very nice I don't like that the owner/manager does not have it so you can do tap on checkout w your credit card and this is where a lot of the scams come through when you have to use your credit card in the machine. so I choose to pay cash or just put back my cart and leave. so be careful with their machines and your credit card information read more

My first go to when shopping for the week. It's hit or miss sometimes but when they have beautiful big heads of organic cauliflower or other produce, it's usually $1.49 each. You can't beat the prices. You'll get the most out of it if you go every week. read more

I Love this store. Yes! You should check the expiration dates and I wouldn't buy egg's or meat from here (This is just my preference). However, their products are always changing, they have some great prices on fruit trees, vegetable plants so you can plant your own at home and save some money, plus they get some great brands at a steal compared to major retail stores. The staff here is always kind and I love to save money at this store. I would give this place a try and if you don't buy any food items, that's fine! I've been here three times & i will not be returning. Every single time I've been here every single employee makes me feel like the biggest inconvenience. A stocker straight up said she was too busy to help me find something. The cashier seemed upset and rushed me when i didn't immediately have my card ready (i found it within seconds), & another time a different cashier seemed angry with me that i forgot my phone in one of the aisles & wanted to run back and get it. no one was waiting in line behind me at checkout. My mother and I are HUGE fans of this store! Ever since they've opened we make it a routine to go in at least once or twice a week. My mom especially, I think at this point - they know her by a first name basis. They have an amazing selection of gourmet food items, as well as well known name brand goods... Pillsbury, Duncan Hines, Arizon, Peak Ice Teas, Simply Orange, Oscar Meyer --- the key to alot of items here is to check on their expiration dates. Great spices, canned goods, marinades, cake mixes... Alot of great treats and "lunchable items" My mom has managed to garden alot of our front yard with their selection of flower flats right in front of the store. They come in little planter pots just like the ones you find at Lowes/or Home Depot. I go there for their great false eyelash collection! and costume "one night out and it's done" jewelry! LOL! A lot of sale items but make sure to look for the expiration date...I am posting in here because once of the light skin older lady Latina was taking out some items from the store and putting it on her car...I thought she was a customer and then suddenly she end to the register...she charged me more items than and cost me more money....unbelievable..she has more time taking out products to her car than doing her job... owners watch out what your employees are doing...if the expiration date is beyond 6mths from the printed date, then that's your choice, If you want to buy and eat/drink it... your judgment always..there are really some good items to buy here...u just need to take time...but I still upset with this woman... read more

I think this place is worth a trip! I've been here several times and although I think it's questionable with them selling expired dairy or fresh food, there are other deals worth checking out. I have bought coffee from here that was expired over a couple of months (and that was a mistake) but also bought coffee that was only a week old and is the exact same quality as the bags in Starbucks. This place has changed a lot over the last few years, not for the better but it still holds some of the charm for why I liked this place in the first place. Pros: almost everything is $1 and some items are well worth it. My favorite isles are definitely the cleaning supplies & office supplies they seem to have the most & great deals on everyday items. Also they have very friendly staff that always seem willing to help. Cons: This place has really gotten dirty, like another yelper said when they first opened everything was clean and isles were clear, now isles were stacked and overflowing and boy a lot of dirt or opened items it was kind of gross. Also turned off on the expired foods, I found a drink here that I had been looking everywhere for, imagine by sadness when I find that it's old and expired, pretty lame. Also their makeup section here used to be great, now it's really lacking and has half the quality/quantity it used to have. Disgustingly dirty, cluttered, unprofessional appearance and very rude and unprofessional staff. You'll find an occasional great find for a very low price. For example, i found a neutrogena body wash for $2.99 and box of new Always pads for $3.99. Some items look dirty and opened with a badly sealed tape. They had many grocery items that were expired. The cashiers were making fun of a customer in spanish and even insulted the customer in spanish for requesting a price; the customer apparently did not speak spanish. When I was hand gestured to pay, I wasn't greeted since she was chatting with the other cashier about a customer's perfume and she answered a phone call mid transaction. Again, very dirty and very unprofessional. You'll find many good finds though: crafts, items rare to find and at very low prices. read more

Stopped by on a recommendation of a friend. I love a good deal and love exploring even more. I drive up and immediately noticed all the beautiful plants. Plenty of parking and found a quick spot. I would say it was busier than expected on a Thursday at 12pm. Think of this store as a dollar store with left overs from Kirkland, Trader Joe's, Starbucks, and many more. I'm certain things change constantly. Most eatables are within expiration dates. Some food items had a passed "best by date" but these things were like chocolate .. so that's ok.... The store is not huge - not a warehouse but more like an older small grocery store. They do have everything from frozen to clothing .. check out the pictures. Prices were great. except for some dresses at$15... u can find the same at lower price in walmart. I honestly used to love this place when they first opened. The inside used to be cleaner than most 99 cent stores, and I worried that it would only be temporary. Unfortunately, my fears were justified, as this is now disgusting. It smells dreadful inside and I really wish they'd clean it more. It's cluttered and disorganized as well, which might explain some of the smell. Some of the food is past its expiration, so as such, I wouldn't recommend getting food from this place. The balloons and other items are cheap, so if you need some of those, just quickly stop in and leave before the awful smell has a chance to assault your nose. read more

I gave three stars because you can find some pretty good bargains on cleaning supplies, hardware, dishes and household items and office supplies. However stay away from the expired food. A little out if date (a month or two) ok...but two years???? It seems they should just throw this rancid stuff away instead of leaving it take up valuable shelf space. Throw out the really old stuff and discount the expiring stuff. This is the only place in town where you can get Easter, Christmas and Valentine's day candy all on the same trip. By the way if it's December and they have Christmas candy check to make sure it's not from last Christmas or two Christmases ago. Steer clear of the food items and you can get some decent bargains on shampoo and cleaning supplies and other non perishable items. I also hate how they've added in non 99 cent items. I wholeheartedly understand when you go to a 99¢ store you have to keep your expectations in check. I have visited a couple times in the past, but recently my trips here are less pleasant. I'll occasionally stop in to see what they have because they tend to have great birthday supplies. Who wants to spend a bunch of money on candle you are literally going to light on fire?! However I feel like the selection of items overall have gone down a little (dang inflation!). That's understandable. The cleanliness of the store is what really gets me. I was shocked to see how far gone they've let this place go. When it was open, it was clean, neat and had a good selection. Today, I walked in and almost turned around immediately because of the smell. I tried to go in and just pick up Halloween paper cups, but they hardly had any and I didn't want to stand in line and smell that smell. I have stayed away from this place due to how dirty it is, and how far past expiration so many food items are. But I went today... hoping things had changed but nope. Still nasty, and even worse customer service, I was waiting in a line... which ever they create for the day. And first a man cuts in front they say nothing and serve him.
