What brought me here not only to donate but to shop was that new unto others thrift store is open on Sundays. Everything is clearly marked, organized, and the establishment is overall clean. The staff that collects donations, and indoors are so kind and helpful. You are always greeted with a smile and a welcome. When making a donation, don't forget to ask for your receipt. For a thrift store, I think the prices are not only profitable for the business but are a good price point for shoppers. I am anti Goodwill. I have recommended this thrift store to multiple individuals. I drive the extra 15 to 20 minutes to donate here! It's normally always busy, at least the days that I've been. One of the best Thrift Stores in the San Gabriel Valley. This store is well staffed and clean. Very well organized with a small dressing room to try on clothes. This thrift store in Glendora is small, but it is one of the organized thrift stores I have visited. [Parking - 5-star]: Has a small and free private parking lot and I didn't have an issue finding a spot immediately, but the lot can get pretty packed. [Size - 3-star]: Not exactly a big thrift store and about less than half size of your typical Goodwill stores. [Selection - 4-star]: Small but solid section from furniture, glassware, purses, etc, but I really like some of books they have here. [Organization - 5-star]: The entire store is very organized and items were curated. All of color coded discount tags were labeled clearly so you know exactly the final sales prices are. [Price - 5-star]: Books are steal - soft cover book = $1.49 and hard cover book = $2.49. I got one of Tony Robbins' books for only $1.49. Any items with yellow, orange, and green tags receive an additional 50% off. [Quality - 5-star]: Many items I found such as thermos mugs or dining tables were high quality at the prices they were selling at. You will have a higher probability finding high quality items here and prices for many items are also much cheaper than what you will find in Goodwill's. read more

I will never believe this is a Christian based business. Maybe it used to be when there were different owners. I've heard the owner, Shawn, talking to employees, and it doesn't appear to be in a Christian manner. Also, he was talking to a female customer, and he appeared quite rude. I literally felt sorry for the customer. Second of all, the prices, in my opinion, are not what you consider thrift store prices. They claim to he a thrift store, but some of their prices are higher than Ross Dress For Less. These are used clothing, not new. That seems to be unfair to the customers who can not afford higher prices. I won't shop there again. There are better prices elsewhere. read more

I really love this store. I visit every time I am in town. I am originally from Glendora and visit relatives two to three times a year. The only complaint about the store is about the senior discount. I think the cashiers should automatically ask if you are a senior or if any other discounts apply. I always forget to ask for it and I could save more money if they would just ask. They could also have a sign posted at the register to remind seniors to ask. I was there yesterday and spent $98.00. The senior discount would have been a nice savings. read more

Went to drop off donations. The directions in the parking lot were easy to follow, and led me to a nice gentleman who took the items out of my car for me. Wow! I had the most miraculous experience at this store. Visited for the first time with my boyfriend's family. I love the selection there but the prized jewels for me was the Book section. Found 4 books I have been praying for. Budget has been tight as of late so I was thinking to myself "man these might be a little to expensive to grab all at once.. I may need to wait and just get one." I sat a few down, and next thing I know, I meet the owner, Sean. He was so joyful and friendly. I felt like I knew him! I looked at my boyfriend and he encouraged me to still take all 4 books up to at least do a price check. TOTAL WAS ONLY $8 ALTOGETHER. Still shocked at the quality but also, one of the books was signed by the author (who is famous btw). Still in disbelief that I was able to grab all of them for that price. Yes! Nice find for our family. We like to donate things here. They are very helpful and friendly. You can pack your car or van and drive up to their drop off area. The men will greet you and ask what needs to be unloaded. You don't even need to get out of your car unless you prefer. I did go inside the store to See how things are organized. Things are well organized and is easy to maneuver through the store to browse around. Sections for larger furniture and big items were in a separate room while the main area had sections. Jewelry, clothing (pants, shirts, dresses and accessories), children's section and toys and plushies. Books, records and kitchenware. And my favorite area, Nick Nacks and small things. And guess what I found? One of my cherished donations. It was in its own ziplock bad and priced well. I was so happy to see my cherished item given another chance to make someone else happy. I love this place because you can bring your items for them to sell. They have a great spot to drop off your items and the guys are very helpful. They give you a receipt for your taxes. I like this place to donate because they don't exclude nor rummage through your donations like some other locations. They just accept it and they sort it out. Super cute small-town vibe thrift store. As a reseller they don't get much great high end stuff but there is usually a lot of cuter vintage pieces here. I like coming in when I need a break from Goodwill and they have the cleanest restroom I've seen at a thrift store ever. Even cleaner than a lot of restaurants haha. The workers are super friendly and usually young and it's obvious there's a sense of community here. I've donated to and shopped at this store countless times. When I finally needed a costume for Halloween, and I found the perfect one at their store, the paper tags unfortunately came off when I tried them on, and even though I still had the tags, they refused to sell the items to me. It seems that they should come up with a better tagging system so the tags don't fall off, because it's unfair and unkind to the customer to be turned away for a reason that is out of our hands. Another potential solution would be to have a dressing room attendant or a sign stating that if a tag falls off that you won't be able to buy an item. Maybe they could figure out a way to be able to price items on the spot. I felt so defeated and discouraged. I would have paid twice the price on the tag. It made me not want to come back, which truly saddens me. read more
