Great local bakery. It's small and certain things such as hotdog and hamburger buns need to be ordered in advance. They have great selections of pastries, bread, biscuits and gravy and great kolache's. There is sometimes a line in the a.m. but it goes quick. A few tables to sit and eat but we usually take our pucks home to eat. The owners are very friendly and it's nice to have local, fresh baked goods. Hands down the best kolaches in the state of Colorado. They offer sweet and savory options along with a very large menu of other offerings. I'm talking biscuits and gravy on the weekends to fresh focaccia bread! As a Texan, the thing I miss the most living here is 100% kolaches. Just had the sweet cream kolache for a mid morning snack - and it was delicious! Plenty of cream cheese and the kolache was oh so soft and moist. Just baked! They have sweet or savory flavors to please just about anyone. I was introduced to this place by a friend. I've been driving by so many times since it's right next to the post office but never thought of going in...huge mistake. Today's visit was my second time and oh my, never had such great savory pastries since I left home. American pastries for me are just plain sweet and too sweet for my liking. I've lived in Texas my whole life, and wound up moving to the north Denver area because my husband got his dream job outside Denver. The service and the food at Just a Pinch are top notch. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The food... oh my goodness! It was so delicious we got more to go for later. We're visiting from Texas and didn't expect to find such a great kolache spot with many different kinds of kolaches to choose from. We tried the: bacon and egg, breakfast, strawberry and apple kolaches. All of them were crazy good, my personal favorites were the breakfast and strawberry kolaches. At the time of our visit they gave us a buy 5 get one free deal and the nice young lady at the register gave us the recommendation of getting coffee next door at the Loveland Coffee Company. read more

Awesome little bakery in Loveland. They have quite the selection of treats including a dozen or so flavors of kolaches. I had a strawberry kolache with orange citrus cream cheese. It was phenomenal. I could've easily eaten a dozen of them if they were put in front of me. Very unique flavor and perfect tasting dough with the right consistency. The kolaches here are amazing and the gentleman who owns the place is awesome. So genuine and friendly. My friend is celiac and they come every single weekend to get gluten-free items. Great little bakery. We ordered the cherry, blackberries kolaches and a challah loaf. Our favorite was the cherry kolache flavor. We want to order some slider buns but we have to give them 24 hours notice, which is totally fine. We will definitely be back, delicious little treat with our morning coffee. read more

I've been wanting to stop by to see what this place is all about. Most of the time I couldn't stop by here because I was in the area on days other than Saturday (their only day they serve gluten free). But finally I was around on a Saturday morning and stopped in. When I came in I walked to the counter and asked what items were both gluten and lactose free, because of my food allergies. The female behind the counter told me that there was "nothing" that I could have there because all of the gluten free items have lactose ingredients in them. I was a little shocked that there wasn't at least a few items available. After inquiring about why they don't have any lactose free items and why they only sell gluten free one day a week, it seemed to anger the woman behind the counter. She began to speak down to me telling me basically take it or leave it, that it's too difficult to make gluten free dough because it doesn't rise as fast, and doesn't sell as much. I was very upset with the way I was spoken to. What I want the all customers reading this review to realize is that there are several places in the area that offer gluten free, lactose free, and vegan options. Another place in town, called Muse, makes gluten free and lactose free muffins, throughout the whole week, and they are delicious. The woman behind the counter told me they sell gluten free once a week because they don't sell as good. Why do you think that is? Do gluten free items taste worse? Are they worse for you? Can you not get them to taste good? Are they too difficult to make? I have always competed against family members during the holidays with my gluten and lactose free recipes and have made desserts and baked goods that were much better tasting than those brought by my other family members. The woman behind the counter indicated that the gluten free dough doesn't rise as fast? How much longer does it take? Canyon Bakehouse down the street in Loveland doesn't seem to have a problem making thousands of delicious loaves of bread every day. Why would it be so much harder for you to make? Is it hard to pour lactaid milk into a mixer bowl? Is it hard to scoop Earth Balance butter out of the tub? Is it hard to sprinkle Cabot lactose free cheese on top of things? Regardless, I now understand that this place doesn't want your suggestions or feedback, and doesn't have compassion for customers like me. If they did, they'd remember that it's 2021 and that lots of restaurants, especially in the Loveland area, offer gluten free and vegan items. Anything there can be made gluten and lactose free. More people, by the way, are lactose intolerant than gluten free. I suggest that if you have food allergies, that you don't come here, because there are many more bakeries, stores, and restaurants with gluten and lactose free options in the area that will be more thoughtful and compassionate to their customers. read more

Simply the BEST Kolaches I've ever had! Being new to Loveland we have been on the look out for some good spots. At the farmers market my wife, and I met the owner. He's super nice and welcoming. He only had 4 Kolaches left, and said he came with 15 dozen! The Kraut Burger was the only ones left, and never having one before we thought why not. So freaking good! others in line were telling us we HAD to check out their bakery. We decided to go this morning, and so glad we did! The bacon potato Kolache with the chive sour cream tastes like a loaded baked potato. So freaking good, my mouth is watering thinking of it! After two weeks of eating kolaches every day, I tried something new and after taking one bite, I had to log on and write a review. To begin with, their kolaches are amazing! (specifically speaking to the breakfast sausage, jalapeño, BBQ pork, and the strawberry and blackberry sweet kolaches). It's not even the dough that separates these guys from other breakfast places, but their sausage is delectable and the pork is tender and delicious. Today, I got biscuits and gravy for the first time. Like I said, their sausage is particularly good, so the homemade sausage gravy is beyond heavenly. It comes at a great price, too! I mean seriously, the gravy is to die for! Even during these crazy pandemic times, they remain open to serve the community.
