Stumbled on this beautiful winery after taking a peaceful hike at Devil's Backbone. Lots of parking, the grounds are immaculately kept, seating areas at picnic tables, round tables, or just chairs in a circle. Multiple lovely seating areas along the large stream. We saw horses on the opposite shore and a bunny by the big waterfall feature. Several walking paths. There was a live singer with a guitar and harmonica while we were there. Asked him to play his choice of any Tom Petty song and he nailed it with American Girl. We didn't have any food but we did buy three different bottles of wine to share within our party of 12. I enjoyed the Barbera from their Lodi, CA signature series. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. read more

Been here a couple of times for different events. It's always a fun visit. We stopped in to taste the new fall drinks. We decided to have a yummy appetizer and sip the tasty new wine cocktails. We were on a little hike near by and the trail led straight to the winery.... so we had a little treat before heading back ;-) The staff are always kind and helpful. What an adorable winery! It's only rated at about 4 stars and I didn't read the other reviews, but that surprises me. We had an excellent time and I thought the wine quality was pretty good. What I loved most about Sweet Heart Winery is their grounds and proximity to water. From the road as you pull up, you can't tell that there's a large outdoor seating area out back that goes straight out to a river. It's unbelievably relaxing to have a glass of wine and sit by the water listening to the sounds. The staff was friendly and they keep things organized by taking the order then giving a buzzer that will alert you when things are ready. We tried some snacks and a wine sampler, one red and one white/rose. What I liked best was the Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Sparkling Rose. read more

The winery is absolutely stunning. It unfortunately was a windy day, so it wasn't the most peaceful, but nonetheless beautiful. The service was sweet and fast. Service was fine - the atmosphere is probably the best part of this winery. The seating outside is wonderful. We got a variety of ciders and wines and everything was kind of average in my opinion - my friend said the cider tasted like perfume and while my wine flight was good, I don't feel drawn to go back again and again. I was in town visiting a friend and we popped by this winery after a morning hike in the Rocky Mountains and it was exactly what we needed. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the perfect place to post up with friends for the afternoon or host an event/wedding. The seats by the water go quick so if you want prime seating I recommend going earlier in the day. But you can also bring a blanket and post up on the grass if you can't snag a picnic table. The service was great, everyone was so helpful and friendly and they've got plenty of yummy food options as well. We each got a wine sampling (1 red & a white) and a pizza each. I would without a doubt make this a regular spot with friends or even solo when the weather is nice, being a book or some games and you're set for the day! read more

Been 2 years since we have been. Better weather this time. Got to sit by the river and enjoy a cab flight which was great (3 out of 4 anyway). The 4th was a little too heavy on the tannins. But the charcuterie board was a nice snack to munch on while watching the river running through it. Staff was really friendly and service was quick. Inside is rustic and chic. But the outside was so perfect for an afternoon tasting. My wife had the "froze" (sp) which was half pina colada and half rose. Similar to a Miami Vice (I'm told... We had a wonderful visit here on a Thursday afternoon. Our large group of moms and kids arrived right as they opened so we were able to order right away. They have some pretty tasty mocktails beyond the wine which was so nice. Both of the ones I had were great, but my favorite was definitely the peach. They also have a great food menu. I ended up ordering the Irish nachos which were huge - thankfully for the price. They were so tasty! I will absolutely order them again. Inside the winery is very cozy with plenty of room. On the other side is their event room. Outside is absolutely stunning. There is so much open space and seating to enjoy the fresh air. The river is gorgeous - however, they had the area nearby closed off because it was flowing very fast. We ended up setting up a bunch of picnic blankets on the grass and let the kiddos run around. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time. I will definitely be back in the future and hopefully in the evening time. read more

OK- so we were members of this winery for many years- loved it. You couldn't beat the beautiful location and overall experience. However, they recently changed owners and the charisma of the place has done a 180 from quaint to completely pretentious and beyond overpriced. Currently, the most "affordable" glass of wine on their menu is $13, with average price of a glass (GLASS) ranging from 18-38 (yes $38) dollars. (Keep in mind this isn't Napa and they don't grow their own grapes- their wine is "fine" but literally nothing fancy. Their small flatbread pizzas are $25, appetizers are $25 dollars. They no longer have table service so you go to the bar to order all of your food/wine.... and go pick up the food yourself when it's ready....And then still ask you what you'd like to add for a tip when you close out? This place used to be so cute, so sweet and we'd come here once a quarter as members even though we live in Denver. Our friends who live in Loveland even said "we can't go there anymore because we can't afford it" the pricing is OUTRAGEOUS - (just look at the menu online) for mid level wine and food. When we came most recently, no one was there (it used to be packed) and I'm sure it's because no one local or on the Front Range can afford their absurd prices. Expecting people to pay $18 for a glass of wine and $23 for spinach artichoke dip is beyond insane. The location is beautiful for sure and I don't know anyone (and we are hard working, well-off upper middle class people) who can afford to go there anymore. read more

Service was chill as you enter. They were not very cognizant of our arrival as we entered the place. We waited at the bar, since we weren't asked, we stepped outside sat down and then had to go back inside since no one was really taking us to our table. Servers were just smiling and passing by. Hmmmm We finally went back inside to the bar and said that we are interested in trying out their wine. That's when we were seated, served, and ready to enjoy the wine. I had to say, wine was very good. Will go back again but not in the near future, the cheese board was good and went well with the wine. We have driven past this place a hundred times and to be honest was afraid that is was over hyped. We decided to stop in today and was really impressed. I mean the building is amazing the decor is perfect. But the staff was impressive. Everyone work together like a real team and they were hopping. Seriously the most professional, courteous and attentive crew I've seen working together in one place. We did a tasting of the hard cider and a wine and mostly came to see that the food was like. The menu is simple but they do have GF crust option on the flatbread which my wife prefers. Their cheese, veggie and hummus trays looked really good and nicely portioned. Great little winery. The outdoor seating is so pretty, with the backdrop of the ceremony area and the trees. It was a little warm to sit out there for us, but if the weather was better we totally would have. Definitely call ahead to make sure they aren't closed for an event- apparently it can be hit or miss. We had tried to drop by on a spur of the moment trip, but we're disappointed that they'd been closed. Glad we got a chance to come in this time! All the wines were very drinkable and delicious, although we preferred the viogner, the petite Syrah, and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was really flavorful and smooth. read more

I loved the ambiance of this winery! I love how cute and farm rustic the inside feels! I also loved the winery's aesthetic! However; I was a little disappointed with their Pinot Grigio I did not love it. However, my mom did a red wine flight and she loved every single one. I will be back to give it a second review! The winery overall is super cute to walk into and in the summer time they have a beautiful outdoor patio space. My mom and visited here for the evening, and we were able to see elk grazing in the field! It was a magical experience. I also recommend their charcuterie boards. read more
