However, there's a lot of street parking and possibly free parking at Kahala Mall. I first came to her in early 2024. Before making my appointment, I had a look at her Instagram and website. Since this was my first time getting my brows done, I had many questions. Tina was incredibly sweet and answered all my questions. She helped me feel more comfortable and made the whole process very easy and smooth. The initial appointment was slightly longer than the touch-up appointments because we carefully discussed the type of brows that would complement my face structure and my preferences. I trusted Tina to work her magic as I was unfamiliar with the process, and I'm so glad I did! My brows turned out beautifully, and I was absolutely in love with the result. They truly enhanced the natural beauty of my facial features. I came back for 2 touch up appointments within the next 2.5 years and each time I came back, I fall in love with my brows all over again. However, about seven years ago, I decided to try microblading my thinning and shortening eyebrows, and my husband lovingly teased me about having Rottweiler eyebrows. The painless semi-permanent microbladed eyebrows usually lasted two to three years, with proper annual to no maintenance. I was set for a maintenance appointment when I suddenly discovered that my usual artist had retired. I was left in a lurch because I planned to get the maintenance done before traveling domestically and abroad from late last year. I contacted Beauty Babe to inquire about her microblading and ombré powder tattooing services, appointment availability, and cost. Michele's friendliness and reassurance for assistance came through her voice. She also described the difference between microblading and ombré powder eyebrows, and I quickly agreed to book an appointment to see for myself. On the appointment day, Michele sent me a message regarding directions, parking lot availability, and security in her salon. I didn't take any interior photos for privacy because there were other clients and artists, even though the salon had privacy partitions and separate rooms for tattooing. After measuring my eyebrows, Michele applied makeup to my faded eyebrows to show me the difference between the microblading and ombré powder techniques. However, every time I have been here, I have had wonderful experiences. I came in today to get my brow done before the new year. I went into Hawaii Threading (Keʻeaumoku location) around 2:26 PM. The lady who took me (I didn't get her name because she didn't introduce herself) finished my brows in 5 minutes, and that isn't an exaggeration. When I left, around my brows were very inflamed, which had happened before, so I thought nothing of it. However, I didn't notice until I got home that my brows were extremely uneven. First off, the shape of both brows is different. One of my brows has way more hair than the other but is shorter, and the other is very thin. She did "trim" my brows, but the hairs are uneven. I'm very disappointed with the results and wish I'd gotten her name, because this is unacceptable.
