Got a gift card here from Christmas that I finally got to use. Made appointment online which was super easy to do. When we arrived, we were brought to the locker room to get ready & were provided with robes. Once done, we went to the lounge to wait for our masseuse. I did the signature massage. It was amazing! The pressure was just right & she covered every part that needed it. She also focused on the sore areas that I told her I needed. I really enjoyed this experience and I hope to come back again soon.

I've been coming here for the last few years whenever I'm in the area. Even though it's not as often as I would like each time I've been here the experience has been amazing. Making reservations is easy. Parking is easy but you do have to pay. Make sure to get validated. A friendly welcome at the door and you're ready for the best massage! I've had the Lomi Lomi and most recently Deep Tissue. My therapist this time was Kiki and she was great. She made sure the pressure was just right and very attentive to whether I was comfortable. It had been several months since my last massage and I was excited for some self care time. The 90 minute massage went by too fast. So glad I booked that versus the 60 minute. I can tell Kiki enjoys what she does as she also gave some pointers on what I can do at home to loosen some knots. In the end they serve a refreshing hibiscus drink with a macadamia nut rice puff so good. They also have trail mix and water available. Amenities are nice and clean as well. When I am back in Oahu again you bet I'll be back!

After looking for a place to unwind, I was so glad that I was initially gifted a massage to this place and ever since then, I made 2 appearances here! Hidden behind Kaka'ako's Down to Earth store lies this relaxing place. Parking can be found in the building and yes, you will need to get your ticket validated. The whole facility is very nice and very clean. You are greeted very warmly with welcoming staff and a nice warm towel for your hands. Then you get whisked away to the bathroom/shower area to store your personal belongings in a locker and change into provided robes and slippers. Once you are ready to relax, you enter into this very quiet and relaxing lounge room where you begin to unwind. Shortly after your massage therapist or esthetician greets you and takes you to your service. The whole service itself for both massage and facials were nothing but amazing, you get to relax and the staff really knows how to help you get rid of all that stress! Not going to lie, this place definitely helped me get rid of my stress and helped me get some deserved rest! After your service, you get taken back to the lounge room and get treated with a complimentary snack and hibiscus tea! My last visit, they surprised me with a birthday cupcake! It really brought me to tears as I wasn't feeling myself that day but after having a massage, a facial, and a cupcake with a candle, it really made me feel extremely special! So thank you so much Spa U'ilani for helping me relax and making me feel very special. Highly recommend to treat yourself to this place!

I've found my new favorite spa! Lots of validated parking in Keauhou Lane. Upon entering I was greeted with a very warm Aloha. Given a tour of the facilities and a robe slippers and a locker. Instructed once changed to relax in the lounge. Very calm and serene perfect way to start this day of pampering. My therapist arrived and escorted me to our room. I selected a 90 minute Lomi Lomi. My preference is light medium and she did that perfectly. The next ninety minutes were bliss. After massage completed they have a nice shower and makeup area and sauna. They serve this really nice iced tea and the most tasty rice okoshi. Go visit them!

Walk in...Float out...that's their tag line... I was gifted this luxurious treatment and I couldn't be more impressed by the service you receive the second you step in the door, the decor is bright and fresh with the sparkly chandelier and the monstrous floral decor you're greeted and checked in and instantly they give you a oshibori a warm towel for your hands and gosh that alone felt so heavenly. I was then taken to the Wahine Room to change into their super plushy robe and slippers and place your items in a locker where you can take a shower if desired before your session which you then wait for your therapist in the Ola Lounge to your choice of comfy seating and help yourself to bottle water and trail mix. Mariko was my therapist and was just phenomenal, my treatment was taken care of so I really had no idea what was included but she asked if I wanted to do an add-on treatment of Warm Stones, Aroma and CBD massage oil...ahhh YES! Deep Tissue Massage was my treatment btw (and my add on was included) so if I declined I would've lost out on a paid add-on..NOT COOL! Don't forget to do the Yelp check in offer for the "Free Add On". The massage table is heated the ambiance was just so calming and healing the whole session is simply amazing, once done you're taken to the Ola Lounge to relax further with Hibiscus Tea my favorite though this one is just so beyond describing how delicious it was along with a piece of puffed rice snack at this point I wished I had my air pod though you're able to enjoy the rest of the day here at your leisure this was a late session so I did keep it short. You the return to the Wahine Room to either shower (shampoo, bath gel) which is a rainfall, enjoy the sauna or enjoy the various amenities they provide there for you to use, I'm so grateful for the thoughtfulness of this gift and they gave me a gift card for another treatment...yeah! Gosh what an experience to be taken care of and just let it all go...and float out literally! Thank you!

I don't think I could say enough good things about Spa Uʻilani! I planned my sister's bachelorette to start here for some pampering. Taylor was so helpful getting our group of almost 10 in and making it feel so special for us. Because of our group size we were the only ones for most of our time here. We split the group into two. While one group got serviced the other relaxed in the lounge (omg those reclining chairs) and and had access to the sauna and locker room. They let me even set up our favors in the lounge and offered to take pictures of our group. We were running a tad behind (our fault not theirs) but Taylor had even allowed for that in our schedule. Everyone raved about their services and it really set the bar for the rest of the day. Thank you so much to the staff for such a special experience!!

It was a great experience but I have a few complaints which prevent it from being 5 stars. Couple massage was good. Pressure was good. The parking is just "go check if it's open" and not "this stall is open". If I were the business owner I would improve this to streamline the experience. For as much as I paid for the massage I would have expected parking to be validated. It wasn't. What prevents a five star review: they asked what was sore but they didn't focus on those areas at all. The last 10 minutes of the massage was aggressively rubbing my scalp which didn't feel good and honestly was the worst part of the massage. I'd rather she have massaged my traps/upper back like I had mentioned. My neck and back are still sore today. The search for a massage place that will focus on areas is still ongoing. It seems they all have a script that never is deviated from.

I've been to therapists in LA, NY, Thailand, Seoul, and Japan, but I always left feeling like they were just scratching the surface. She is a total professional with a "quiet strength" that I really appreciated and made me feel completely comfortable & at ease, which let me actually relax despite the good pain! What blew me away was her intuition. I feel like she instinctively knew exactly where to go and didn't just chase the symptoms or the transferred pain; but rather went straight for the root of the issue. She has the kind of strength that is rare to find, and uses it with so much control and technique. I did a 90-minute session with cupping, and a week later, my entire body feels significantly lighter. That decade-old knot is practically on its way out the door. I'll be seeing her regularly from now on every time I'm back home, and I'm already recommending her to everyone I know. The room is simple and clean, without loud music or a lot of extras, which I ended up really appreciating. Because there's no background music or heated table, it felt peaceful and almost meditative -- I could really tune into my breathing and my body letting go of tension, and she made sure I was comfortable with towels, blankets, and the room temperature. First there's no forms to fill out with areas of concern they just ask you what you want them to focus on and how much pressure. Normally you have a little of the elbows and forearms in the beginning of the message and I know it's not comfortable but it loosens up the muscles for the real massage. It was the entire time, elbows grinding into tight muscles and forearms sliding across bone. I kept thinking we will be moving in to the real massage soon, we never did. 90% of the massage was the back my neck was barely touched, very little time spent in legs or arms and because we got a package that had a scalp massages d foot scrub no time was spent on massaging head, neck or feet. The scalp massage was great, hence the 2 star for how nice they were when we came in and the scalp massage. The hot stones were suppose to be 15 minutes but it was barely 5, the foot scrub was just perfunctory and basically a scrub rubbed on your feet with no emphasize on certain dry areas (my big toes need extra scrubbing and they always do that at pedicures) and no real massaging of the foot. The hand foot and head part of the massage is the best part and we got none of it other than the extra scalp part we paid for. Before we started I mentioned I had a large bruise from yesterday on my shin from running into a metal chair. The first time the area was rubbed I mentioned that's the area, I received a response of "oh ok" and she proceeded to go back to the spot and massage even harder as I pulled my leg away. When I put my leg back she went right back to the same spot. The bruise is the size of tow golf balls side by side, it's large and can't be missed not to mention I said something 3 different times. I have never had a massage where I was sweating through it, had to deep breathe through the pain and was counting the minutes till it was over. Every time she lessened the pressure and I though she would stop with the digging elbows and forearms she would ask if the pressure was ok and I would breath a sign of relief and say yes, then right back to the digging elbow and forearms which was not ok. I pulled away multiple times, I was heavy breaking I said ow several times. When we turned over nothing was out under our necks and the ankle bolster was the only thing under my knees. I have a bad back I kept bending my knees she kept putting them back down. I said I need something under my knees she left the room I thought she was getting something but she was not. She left the massage 4 times for other customers coming in or someone at the door. At one point when she left the room I tried turning to my side to elevate the pain in my back but when she came back she immediately pulled my leg back down on the table. At the end of the massage I couldn't get off the table. I had to get on all fours and try to stretch my back. By the time I walked the 5 minutes to the restaurant we planned for lunch I was in so much pain I was in tears. We are here a week, we wanted to come back and get a head spa treatment and my oldest daughter wanted a spa day. We chose this location because our normal go to location moved too far away and this location had such great reviews. Our experience was not great and we did a $220 package per person. So many things we wanted to do after a relaxing massage and I am laying in bed in pain

My friends and I had a very good quality time here. It was our first time in a Korean spa and…read moreexperiencing the body scrub. We had the Platinum Body Scrub (#5), and one had the facials only. My technician was Mina. She performed my service package. At other spas I've been to, different people performed different tasks in the spa package. Mina was excellent at everything, from scrubs and massages to facials. She was professional, friendly, and thorough with her work. She also provided instructions after each item session (my package included facility use, scrub, massage, and facials). I got to the facility ~30 mins before my appointment. An employee walked me through the facility and provided instructions. I used the hot tub and plunge pool before the scrub. After my session was done with Mina, I had lunch with friends. After that, I used the dry and charcoal rooms. The business was clean and organized. They had lockers for us to store our things in. The posted signs on the wall were a little confusing, but you can always ask the staff if you are unclear. They were friendly. In the beginning, I was a little nervous about booking for my group after reading the negative reviews and responses, as I wanted the day to go smoothly since we were there to celebrate birthdays. Anyway, I'm glad it went well :).

I'm not sure why I waited so long to come to Loess Spa, but I'm already planning my next visit…read more For some reason, I always assumed parking would be a nightmare in Kalihi, but they actually have their own private parking lot right in front, partially enclosed with bamboo fencing, which made arriving super easy and relaxing from the start. I was honestly blown away by both the service and the amenities. I did the basic scrub package, which came out to around $100 total including the $50 entrance fee, and it was absolutely worth it. The entrance gives access to all the spa amenities including the charcoal sauna, red clay sauna, steam sauna, dry sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge tub. I came in around 10 AM without an appointment and they were still able to accommodate me for an 11:30 scrub, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend making an appointment though, especially if you're planning on getting a scrub or package service. I was able to experience all of the amenities, and for most of the saunas I actually had the rooms to myself, which made the experience feel even more relaxing and peaceful. Honestly, this would make a perfect solo date or even such a great girls' day activity. My scrub was done by Young, and she was amazing. She made me feel comfortable the entire time, maintained eye contact while speaking with me, was very personable, and provided such attentive service. You can tell she genuinely cares about making clients feel at ease. This was actually my second Korean spa experience in Honolulu, and honestly, the other one doesn't even compare to this level of cleanliness, service, and overall atmosphere. The only minor thing that made me slightly uncomfortable was during checkout while I was tipping -- another worker or possibly co-owner was standing directly behind me, and I wasn't sure if she was looking at the screen. It wasn't enough to ruin the experience, but it was the only moment that felt a little awkward. Other than that, my experience was amazing from start to finish. Definitely worth the visit, and I could easily see myself coming back monthly.
