I needed to get my lashes done fairly last minute as my usual lash girl is on maternity. They were quick to respond and friendly via text and had an appointment available. Communication was great leading up to the appointment day. Her office space is small and she was with another client when I arrived so politely asked me to wait in the seats near the elevator. She seemed to have good sanitation policies in place. Asked me to take off my footwear and had me sanitize my hands. I viewed their website prior but wasn't really familiar with their pricing system as it went by amount of lashes (100,120,140). I told her I usually get hybrid wispy and would like them long. She was friendly and advised me that would require 120 lashes at a cost of $120. I agreed. It took awhile for her to get set up and she stepped away once or twice as she kept coughing. It bothered me a bit as the Covid paperwork she makes you sign has you acknowledge that you have no Covid related symptoms, cough! A few times while she was doing my lashes I felt pinching or pulling of my lashes which I hadn't experienced with my regular lady. When she was through she had a hard time removing the patches (or what felt like bandaids being pulled off) she put under my eye. She had to use wet a napkin and slowly work it off. She asked if I'd be paying cash or card, which I chose card. She swiped my card and handed me her phone to sign and what looked to be adding a tip amount. The only problem was it was all in Japanese (I think) which I don't understand. I had to ask if it was on the tip screen and just assume what I was signing for. After I had to asked about it she apologized and said she couldn't change it to English. Result: I was underwhelmed with my lashes. A classic set from my usual lady was far more noticeable than the Hybrid set I paid for here. I supposed I should have opted for more lashes or her equivalent of a volume set. Furthermore I could feel poking on my right eye whenever I blinked. I had my husband look and it seems that a lash was placed on one of my stray lashes that was well above my regular lash line. Stars are for her friendliness and communication leading up to the appointment. Actual lash service was not the best experience. read more

I am satisfied with Mikiko's service. My lash looked longer and curly afterwards. I don't need to wear any makeup and can be out of the door confidently (I usually don't wear makeup anyway ;) My birthday is coming up and will be doing some traveling, therefore, this was a nice birthday gift to myself, and less makeup to bring to travel. A major space and time saver...think about skipping of the time to do make up, to take off make up, to pack make up.... and sometimes, I wonder what kind of ingredients are in those mascara and eye shadows anyway. The procedure took 2 hours. I lied down in a massage table, as Mikiko wears her unique magnifier glasses to put tape under my eyes first, then one by one, the lashes are put on. I was relaxed enough to be able to almost fell asleep. I told Mikiko that I had allergic reaction to eye makeup before, so she used the sensitive glue on me. I also told her the last time I had eye lash done, they felt very heavy on my eyelid. So Mikiko used the lightest, most natural looking: 60 lashes each eye, on my eyes, & in "Cute" style. It still turned out to be quite dramatic at the end, in a good way. My Hubby was amazed that something like this existed, and he thought they tattooed lashes onto my eyelid. The price is $80 dollars, $83 after tax and I paid $100 dollars after tips and tax. Affordable! No washing my face for 24 hours, only use makeup wipes. Refills are $40 dollars every 3-4 weeks. As a surfer girl, I will not be doing any refills to keep these gorgeous lashes, but for the next special occasion, I would consider getting my lashes done again. read more

I have gone to several places to get my eyelashes done and I gotta say, this place is the best. Mikiko is such a nice, warm, genuine person. We talked about my straight asian eyelashes and problems with them feeling too heavy, uneven and falling off so easy. She suggested thinner lashes and not getting longer lashes at the lateral end of the eye but in the middle; it totally worked! I am also a surfer and in the water most days; her lashes stay on better because she uses lashes that conforms more to the straight lashes, therefore more contact with the lash (as opposed to getting super curled lashes glued to my straight lash). There is still a curl to them but the area of contact is straighter. I would recommend seeing Mikiko to get your eyelash extensions. read more

I just went there today to get my lashes done. I was looking forward to the appointment. It was easy to book. She seems like a nice person. Unfortunately, she was 10 minutes late to our appointment. I called her twice and she sent me straight to voicemail. I texted her and she didn't reply until 3 minutes before she got there. When my lashes were done, I could barely tell that I had lashes.
