So I've never been one to seek out a personal trainer. However, the pandemic leaving the gyms closed has left my health/fitness in shambles. I used to be a treadmill-elliptical-bike and/or yoga kinda lady. While I've completed a series of half-marathons in the past (the too-distant past!), cardio is something I feel I've had some level of comfort with, but strength training has always felt elusive and intimidating. Luke to the rescue! Other reviews mention that Luke is supportive and makes you feel comfortable (one reason I took a chance on him!). I 100% have found that to be the case! We have had two sessions thus far, and I feel very grateful to have jumped out of my sedentary Covid-hole. I would feel confident recommending Luke to any friends seeking a trainer who is both compassionate and knowledgeable.

There area also people here who are very serious and experienced in their fitness journey and they are not judgmental at all and don't walk around like they own the place. What has kept me engaged this past year are the group fitness classes that are offered throughout the week. They are led by different trainers and there are many styles of classes to choose from. If you are like me and don't always know what to do in the gym or want to switch up your routine you should give them a try. My membership includes being able to go to other gyms. Usually I stick to Perimeter but I've been to Chamblee as they offer different classes so I enjoy that perk. The gym is always clean. Mr. Richard works so hard to make sure things are clean, in their proper place and that machines are functioning correctly. Parking at this gym leaves a lot to be desired. There are a couple rows of parking right in front. If you don't find a spot there then you will either have to park in the back of the building or a bit further down. This location is in an awkward drive through shopping center type of thing so it can be hard to find decent parking. Staffing wise it seems as though this gym has a decent amount of turnover. There are a few staff members that have worked there consistently, and then others that are newer. You can definitely make a distinction between ones that are more invested than others. Sometimes it feels like they would rather hang out at the counter than assist the members.

Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk left a very negative impression. We were initially told that my friend was required to provide a bank account and routing number as a second payment method, even though he already had a card on file and the online signup process allowed him to select a card payment option. When we questioned this requirement and asked to see the policy, we were met with resistance. The employee first offered to print the policy, then refused to do so, and eventually admitted that another card could be used after all. The information kept changing throughout the conversation, which made the entire situation confusing and frustrating. What bothered me most was being told I was "aggressive" and being asked whether someone had upset me simply because I requested documentation supporting what we were being told. Asking questions and requesting clarification should not be viewed as a problem. My issue is not with Crunch Fitness itself. My issue is with being provided inconsistent information and the lack of professionalism shown when reasonable questions were asked. Customers deserve clear answers, transparency, and respectful communication. I hope management reviews this situation so future members receive accurate information and a better experience than we did.

They have groups of no more than 8 women and will tailor the workout to your needs. They are always open to suggestions as to what body part to work that day which is so cool! I work in the concourse and many of us have access to their own offices and common offices so i wasn't really a fan of anything i saw. Also there's no incentives for people that work in the concourse. I was hoping for a reason to switch to this gym but every dot they dotted and t they crossed didn't pass for me. I would've preferred more modern units, more benches and definitely more dumbbells. My local Y actually beat them on raw weight and benches. Oh and this gym is actually cheaper in NY. If that makes sense.

I usually go later at night or weekend afternoons, so I can't speak to other times. It's never too crowded to where you can't get something done. There's an abundance of cardio machines, and even with strength machines, there's often 2 of the same ones. The only area that may occasionally get packed is the dumbells rack if you need to fight for a bench. There's also a dedicated circuit area, as well as more ab-centric machines in the corner. Overall, a great value for basic gym needs. You may have to bite your tongue at how many of the people are doing things with poor form, but hey, just mind your own business, and move along, haha.

There were about nine throughout the main floor, but they have removed two and two others don't work. So now there are only five for the entire floor, so you have to walk from one end of the floor with a dripping wet paper towel of cleaning solution in order to wipe down the equipment you want to use on another side of the floor. No one who works here seem to be aware or care that this is a sanitary /unsanitary issue.
