Wow!! When did this place open and how did we not know! I'd give a more stars if I could. I'm somewhat picky, worked in restaurants for 20 years. As a Cafe, bakery, restaurant, this place hits on all cylinders. The owner/manager was incredibly friendly. We weren't rushed, and he took time to explain the menu. I am a creature of habit. I honestly hate trying new things. I was majorly craving sweets one day last August and we happened to see the sign on the way home and stopped in. The choices are plentiful! A little bit for everyone. Cupcakes, cake, cheese cakes (gourmet and traditional), pastries, cookies, etc plus an expanding breakfast and lunch menu! I am a hard to please person, very particular especially with foods due to some health issues. They had no problems kindly answering ALL my questions so I was comfortable. Now a year later this is our Saturday morning family breakfast tradition. I've even taken to spending some of my mornings in there working because I love the atmosphere. I think we have tried about everything on the menu at this point. While there are things I prefer over others, everything we have eaten has been great! Support local !!! The cannoli was perfection. Crisp shell that broke apart on impact with my greedy mouth. The cheese was the right amount of sweet. No pictures I ate it too fast. I got a mini pecan pie as well and enjoyed that the next day for breakfast. It's The hometown of Garth Brooks and they have a great bakery, what more do you want? People working there were very nice. My then girlfriend/fiancé and I have been spending our weekly date night at Just Baked for the better part of a year now. They have always had excellent desserts and good food such as their Cuban sandwich or Tuesday night special Indian Tacos. We used them several times to make a whole cake or a cupcake order for special events such as birthdays, and they have always provided excellent service and delicious food. As a result, it was a no brainer to ask them to make our wedding and groom's cakes. During the course of our conversation, we mentioned that we still did not have a solid catering option lined up for the wedding, to which Debbie immediately said that she can cater. It turns out they used to operate food trucks and had all the catering tools that would be needed to cater our wedding. We agreed upon street tacos, and they even went above and beyond to make that one of their nightly specials so we could try their steak, pork, and chicken street tacos before the wedding. Of course they were all amazing, so we said yes to all options. On the wedding day, it was such a relief to have the catering and cakes all handled by our favorite bakery, and we were able to relax about that side of things because we felt like we had family handling the food because that is what they feel like to us. They have taken the time to get to know us over this year and never fail to pay attention to the smallest details. How many people have the story from their wedding where the bride and groom were too busy to even get a plate and as a result, never got to eat at their wedding? Too many. Well Debbie made sure that she made us each a plate and had it waiting for my beautiful bride and I at our table. As an example of her attention to details that I mentioned above, my tacos did not have cilantro, but my fiancé's did. Debbie recalled a conversation at her bakery where we had mentioned just that detail. She remembered it months later and applied it without being asked or reminded. Do yourself a favor and go into Just Baked and try one of the amazing treats and see for yourself why this is a hidden jewel in Yukon. At the wedding, several people were asking for her queso recipe and her green salsa recipe or if they could get them by the jar. Everyone was impressed with the food and the cakes, to which we were not surprised one bit. There is a reason we continue to go back weekly, and the amazing food is just part of it. read more

This place is my go to place when I'm in need of some feel good comfort food. Whether it is their old family recipe carrot cake or their baked potato soup. You can taste the love that goes into it. God saw what you did. my son came into just baked to inquire about a cake for next week and was RUDELY told "NOT possible!" ok, fine, maybe you were having a bad mornin. and then when my son inquired if you had already made cakes for sale, he was told, again rudely, "we are 4 weeks out!" listen here Bucko! you are 4 weeks out by the Grace of God, NOT because of YOU! 100% the best cupcake I've ever had! We went on a Saturday afternoon so their stock was a little low, but we got two creme brulee cupcakes, and they were amazing! We also ordered loaded biscuits and gravy (delish), the Cubano (yum), and the Bronco (so good). First visit yesterday and will definitely return. We got the roll up sandwiches. Beautifully presented and generously filled with fresh and tasty condiments. Easily two meals each! Bought three chocolate coated strawberry topped cupcakes to go and were pleased with taste, texture and size. These hard working people take pride in their work. I needed a gluten free cake with little notice. I called Just Baked and told them the situation. This was at 6pm Tuesday and the cake was ready at 12 noon Wednesday. I've given this place a try on multiple occasions. I honestly believe you can't judge a book by it cover and you need to really try more than one thing to get a complete overview. With that being said, this place doesn't warrant any additional effort on my part. I've tried sandwiches, bagels, cookies, cakes, brownies and dessert bars. Nothing has wowed me yet. Most items taste like they come from a box or just cheap ingredients that haven't been put together well. I have seen multiple people rave about their carrot cake on FB, so on my most recent visit that was my purchase. I got it to go and headed back to work with it. I took one bite and was extremely disappointed. It didn't taste like any carrot cake I've ever eaten and the frosting tasted like crisco. All I could taste was an overwhelming amount of clove and nutmeg. I offered the remaining $5 slice of cake to my coworkers who never refuse free food, only for it to remain uneaten except for a few nibbles to try and then question what they had just put in their mouths. The piping on it wasn't horrible but it was a little squished. It wasn't a huge cake so I get it. Went to homeland and got a slice of theirs and it was way better.
