Everyone at this business was great!!! We got all the way out to the parasailing boat on the banana bus but had to go back because the waves in the gulf were too rough. The crew was very apologetic and I appreciate the concern for safety even though it meant they would have to refund us. We ended up rescheduling and boarded on the bay side later in the day. Everything was amazing! The crew on shore was very polite and informative, and the crew on the boat made sure we were comfortable before we went up in the air. We also got great photos! My kids live anything adventurous. They done the banana boat ride today and we're so disappointed. The 3 ppl they were paired with didn't want to go fast do they just had to sit there on the boat. They didn't even have to hardly hold on. We fill like we wasted out money. When booking you should be offered a slow boat ride or a fast boat ride. If you only want to ride around then go on a leisure boat ride. BTW it wasn't the driver's fault just the situation. read more

Little pricey for the time we spent actually parasailing, but we did pay an extra $60 for a DS card with pictures on it. Our laptop does not have a port to use for a DS card. Experience was great; easy to book reservations and check-in was a smooth process. Wait time was only about 5-10 minutes from check-in to departure. Banana boat driver was great and very accommodating to riders wants/needs. Fun almost great fun. Fun trip ruined by one of the staff members that was running the "banana bus". Our girls followed all instructions from The beach side team and then when the banana bus guy showed up to taxi them out he began screaming directions and pointing and throwing a fuss. This was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I booked this ahead of time for a Thursday sunset setting and we were not disappointed! Both gentlemen, were well gentlemen! And we were the only two ppl on the boat. They even took pictures and sent to our cellphone. We asked not to be dipped and they listened, which was extremely nice since we were both nervous. Complete ripoff! When booking it appears that this is an hour long ride. My kids were back to the beach within 15 minutes including the boat ride to and from the actual parasail boat. Here is the owner's response: "The flight is about eight minutes that's all we guarantee -the boat ride depends on how many flyers are on the boat so your kids must've been the only flyers on the boat... get it? Leave a bad review makes you feel better that they got their flight. Wow! " I would have never paid $200 (2 kids plus photos) for an 8 minute flight. read more

We had a great time on our banana boat ride all thanks to our jet ski driver, Houston! We told him we wanted to go fast and he did just that. He also was very nice and friendly. We had tons of fun and highly recommend it. We did the 15 minute ride and it was plenty of time. Make sure to arrive 30 minutes early or else you will miss your turn and not be refunded. It is hard to find the location so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to find the place. The front desk worker at the Sheraton hotel was helpful in directing us where to go. Booked with them over the Memorial Day. Was traveling with three other families and had booked for 6 kids. Got there 30 minutes prior to the booking time and completed the paperwork. Was asked to wait an extra 10 minutes initially. That changed to 40 minutes and an hour later we were still waiting to find out they had booked more than they could take. Ended up with a refund and 6 kids disappointed and heart broken. Utterly mismanaged place with no regards to other people's time. read more

Loved! For my first time parasailing and the best experience I could have had. The owner took us out and was very knowledgable and made us feel very comfortable. Anyone who is looking for an adventure while being close to marine life without getting wet this is a fabulous choice. Not pleased whatsoever. We booked two days in advance and arrived 45 minutes before the scheduled time on the day of. They didn't arrive until 15 minutes after scheduled time. We were then informed that the weight requirement had gone up and that the single rider we had did not weigh enough. They asked the other riders who said they would rather not ride with me. The attendant talked to us and moved our reservation to the next day and said we could try again. So we had over and hour and a half of time wasted that day. The following day we came 30 minutes before the scheduled time and they let us know that they are running late and 30 minutes after the scheduled time they had still not shown up. We ended up leaving and calling them for a refund. In short if you want a professional parasailing company go to Destin. read more
